My dad is currently at Seven Hills Health & Rehab Center. What I like most about the rehab facility is the coordinator. She is accessible. I like the accessibility to be able to talk to her when I need to talk to her about what's going on, because I just did a power of attorney with my dad. The front office is also very accessible; it's not hard to reach them. When you walk in, it's excellent. People are there and they're receptive. When I go to my dad's room, they know he is demanding, and they know that they have to be on their game with him. My dad is not so far gone that he's going to give you a pass. It's an excellent facility. My dad always complains about the meals. He is not losing any weight, so he eats the meals, but it is not to his satisfaction. Nothing is like being at home, but he eats the meals. They do make sure they give him things that he will eat. And I find that the people that come into the room, they ask him what he needs. They don't blow him off. He doesn't want to be there, so he's not especially social, but he does go out to bingo. They bring him out. For patients who don't want to be outside of their room, to just bring them out, that's good for my dad, he needs to be just brought out. He doesn't eat food in the dining area, he stays in his room, but to have activity like that, it is good for him, so I appreciate that. My dad's room is OK. I don't feel that it's cleaned like daily. They may empty the trash, but often times there are crumbs or food on the floor or under the bed. They could do a better job with that for his room here. However, the facility is always clean, and there's not a smell to it.

Unfortunately I don’t have the option to leave zero stars. With this being in seven hills, one would think that this nursing facility would be up to par. If you care about your loved one that you are looking for a place, I seriously urge you to avoid this place like the plague. Unfortunately my family learned the hard way. If you are a patient with a tracheostomy this is not the place for you. They do NOT have respiratory therapists around the clock, the nursing staff will let you sit with your secretions drying on your chest, they refuse to suction you when you need to be suctioned which caused my family member multiple trips to the emergency room and hospital stays. The nursing staff is very uneducated in regards to identifying when a person is in respiratory distress and going septic. They are severely short staffed and when you inquire for your family member in their care they are very rude in their responses. The aides are lazy and do not round on patients and I was told they do not document when they round. If it’s not documented, it’s not done. They leave their patients sitting in urine and feces which causes skin breakdown. When you go to the higher ups to complain at this facility they get insanely defensive. Please if you don’t want this facility to put your loved one on their death bed….AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
