My sister moved to The Landing of Long Cove. The community is very engaging, very friendly, and introduced themselves to try and make her feel like she's a part of their community. The place is clean and bright, and even the residents stopped by and said hi and welcomed her. The grounds are pretty nice, it's really clean. She wishes her room to be a little bigger, but the size is fine. They have lots of activities, they have outsiders coming in. The staff is busy running groups and recreational activities, so they keep people pretty busy. And so far, she's enjoyed the food and she hasn't complained. The staff has been outstanding, they're very active there. All these places are very expensive, but it's where people care about their jobs and the people they take care of, so that's a plus.

If your loved one is in need is Assistance, then look elsewhere. The care staff are not attentive. Your loved one will either wait a very long time, often over an hour for help or in my love ones case, they will do things for themselves even if they are a high fall risk. If you have a question or a need, it is best to ask in person. Even the people in charge do not answer emails, text or return calls. The cost is fine if the residence would get the care they are evaluated as needing as well as paying for the level of care.

My mom is at The Landing of Long Cove, and some of our experiences there were good. She likes the people, her room is always clean, and she likes the food, but I could barely get information on my mom because of COVID. Even if I called and asked for information, it was very seldom I got the information I was looking for. I would see her right through her window sometimes, and I had gotten her phone line, but her phone kept being disconnected. I called them and said, "Will you please connect my mom's phone in, which is behind a piece of furniture, so that I can call her and she can call me?" Days would go by before I ever had her on the phone. Then she moved out. Over half of her clothes were missing -- her purse too. All I want to do is talk to them if they have it, but I cannot get them to respond to me.

Very nice, clean, and smells fine. They have a beautiful dining room. They are very nice. We were able to get through very quickly, but it took awhile for my sister-in-law to move in and they didn’t help. She is in an adequate bedroom.

My friend is here. So far, it seems to be meeting his needs very well. It has a very bright, well-lit atmosphere. People are friendly and are willing to work with you. The food is very good according to my friend.

Everything was nice. It just wasn't a good fit for my uncle. They didn't offer a lot of activities. They had a lot of people who were Alzheimer's patients. He's very sharp and he needed more stimulation. Both the staff and the rooms were very nice. They were very good for what they are. They were very nice and clean. It was just they specialize more in people with Alzheimer's and those who have that kind of condition.

Mom is here for almost a year now. We chose this facility because it’s the only one available that I could get her into and it’s close to her house. The facility is very nice. She needs to have dialysis so she doesn’t participate in a lot of activities. The staff seemed to be very attentive to her and talk to her a lot. If you call them up or talk to them on the phone, they will answer your questions. If they can't, they will find out and call you back and call you back. I am really pleased with place. I would definitely recommend this place.

We visited and that was very nice. The people were very nice. The staff that toured us around the place were also very friendly, knowledgeable, and they did a good job.

It was very nice and I like it a lot. It was also very clean. Everything was pretty good there. It looked like it had everything that we needed. Their rooms were a little bit small, but their staff was very professional and very nice. They were very helpful in answering my questions. I was very pleased with everything they have to offer especially with regards to activities.

We moved my mother in and everything is going well. The place is very, very nice and clean. The dining room is great and the food is fair. Her room is very nice. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They go very far with the level of care that they offer. I was concerned that my mother would not be a candidate given that she has some variety of issues, but they evaluated her and they said she could move in and we are very happy with the care. She is also very happy there. They have variety of activities, but she does not participate too much right now.

When we visited I looked at the place that the people were served, I didn't think the food looked that good. I didn't have any complaints about the staff but I didn't like the grounds. It didn't have the park setting that the other facility had. We looked at the studio room and it didn't have a full kitchen.

It was very nice, very clean, and it was new. I think the rooms were a bit smaller than what I was looking for. They were full that time I visited. I am not sure about what activities they had, but I know they did have activities. I know they have a library, a TV viewing area, and a dementia unit.
