My wife moved into The Sheridan at Mason, but she passed away before Thanksgiving. The director of the memory care unit, Kelly, was absolutely outstanding, she kept me informed about everything going on. Of course this was in the middle of COVID, so visitations were really limited. She sent me pictures, she sent me a video, she also had a significant number of activities for the people to participate in, five or six different things every day. All in all I just thought they were fantastic, they really did a terrific job under very difficult circumstances with the COVID. Initially when my wife was there, she was doing very well, then her health just turned very bad, and she died after being in the hospital for some time. I would recommend that place to anyone.

I toured the Anthology of Mason. It was a nice, new, modern facility, with friendly staff, and the ratio of staff to residents was very reasonable, like six or 7 to 1. And just lots of activities, and interactions with the assisted living side. They took the time to understand our family needs and specific situation. And we spent at least a good half an hour just talking about my mom and the level of care before actually going on any tour. Every Friday there's like a big group activity for both sides. The theater room, the library, and the gym were always very nice. The outdoor garden area for the memory care folks to go outside was nice.

Last year The Sheridan was bought out by Anthology. Right away things started going down hill. The head nurse failed to get my mom's meds to the floor nurses & so my mom didn't get her medicine for several days until I discovered the situation. As mom's Alzheimer’s was getting worse and she started having anxiety and depression and instead of recommending medication they wanted to move her from assisted living to memory care. When she finally did need to move to memory care we discovered that the staff was mostly temp employees who really don't care about the residents and are often rude & harsh with them. I even caught one of them yelling at my 87 year-old mother! It got so bad that they weren't keeping my mom clean and several times I found her sitting in urine soaked clothing. I've now moved her to another facility that actually treats her like a human being.

The Sheridan at Mason was very modern and very fresh. They had good activities and engagement with the seniors. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. It was very easy to maneuver, very clean, and very bright. It was convenient to everything. They had a walking path around the building.

My husband moved into the Sheridan at Mason. We liked it, it's very nice, very good, and it has memory care also, but he's in assisted living. He has a little apartment, there's a living room, a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, and a bath. They have trips, and I get to go with him in their van, and they have entertainment quite often. I eat there every night with him. The food is good, institutional, but it's fine. It's very lovely, it's new, and everybody thinks it's like a hotel.

My father-in-law is now at The Sheridan at Mason. It's assisted living basically. They make sure he takes his medicines and things like that. The staff members are extremely kind there. They have been very helpful in placing him and helping us get him situated. I'm very happy with that. The grounds are very nice up there; they do a good job taking care of it. My father-in-law's room is very nice and very clean. They do a good job taking care of him. I'm very pleased with the service we have gotten from them. I know my father-in-law has been playing bingo and cards. We have eaten there and we have not had one bad meal there. However, he is negative when it comes to food because he works in a restaurant. Other than that, he has not had any complaints whatsoever.

My mother moved into The Sheridan at Mason. It's brand-new, the staff was super friendly, they all seemed to be enjoying their work, and were very responsive. The food was pretty good. I've eaten there twice now, they have a chef, he did a luncheon when she moved in, and he had this top-notch appetizer in the lobby. I was impressed. The facility is brand new, with lots of light, everything was super clean, with a really great modern design. People feel they're staying in a nice, luxury, hotel, it's a good layout, it's not too big, and everything is kind of close. It's beautiful, with high ceilings, and lots of special public places like a TV room, outdoor garden, and a gorgeous private dining room where you can have family dinner.

My dad moved into the memory care of Sheridan and it's great. His room is very clean and comfortable, we furnished it ourselves. He loves the food. The staff is wonderful. They do puzzles, crafts, games, and they take them out on little adventures. They have a simulator.
