I'm in Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon, and they're helping me with my legs. Everybody is really good to all the patients. We get pretty good care. It's kind of lost in itself. It's a beautiful setting. I'm sharing a room right now. I have a roommate. Ours is a good size, but some aren't quite as big as ours. We have the regular stuff like bingo, casino, cards, and stuff like that that's inside. Most of us are on wheelchairs or walkers, so everything's inside right now. They take us outside when they have something special. The food is about average. It's not a 5-star restaurant; but when you're cooking for many people, I'd say it's decent. The staff is pretty good. They're quite active. They have reading, several games we do, and we have a time in the morning where you can go have coffee and just talk about different things.

Your facility may have not been directly responsible for my mother’s death, but I blame you for the agony and discomfort she had to experience the last months of her life. I detest you all for finding a way to look yourselves in the mirror every day. Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon , why did my mother complain about her back pain from the first days there to the point she was in unbearable pain if she got into a wheelchair for MONTHS and not a single soul actually felt her back? Her back, upon her death, was found to be covered in tumors. You could FEEL why she was in so much pain. Why? Aren’t there protocols in place to require these types of general checks on a very regular basis, let alone over months?

We have no problem with Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon at all. The layout is fine, the place is always clean, the staff is pleasant, and the care my husband has received is good. My husband says the food is good but not always very hot. They have activities like worship services, different holidays, and little parties. There's almost always something going on.

I can't even give this place 1 star! I have to giuve a star to submit a review. It is the most incompetent facility I have ever dealt with. 90% of the staff is NOT friendly or forth coming. They were not attentive and lack compassion. Speech therapy did not work with my Dad at all! She gave him a paper with exercises and left the room. Wonder what she charged for that 3 minute visit. Forms got lost and never returned calls. There was feces in the floor, on his bed, rag with dried feces and feces on his concentrator!!!! Disgusting! Hope for my Dads well being faded shortly after arrival to this horrible place. He is now in a facility which he gets good care and attention!!! Shame on Vista for their lower than standard of practice!!!! I feel sorry for any family member who goes there. Any good reviews out there are lies!!!! DO NOT take your loved one there unless you dont care!!!!!!

My father was in The Vista Center three weeks before I yanked him out. I had four pages of type-written complaints from there. The nursing staff is fine. They’re very good but there’s lack of the availability for care because they’re very low staffed. It’s very unclean. My father was put on prescription drugs that we were not aware of for highly infectious diseases that his roommate evidently had. He should not have been in his room. The rooms were small. He never had physical therapy, they never walked him and never did anything with him so he just sat there all day. He went from being mobile to needing assistance in three weeks. He also didn’t like the food.

My mother in law was placed here after her decline in another facility. She stayed 2 1/2 months at the other one, and her mind and health were worse than when she went in. After placing her here, which the care is on point, facility is beautiful, staff helpful and nice, she has made improvements within a little over a week! Best decision this family made!!
