My mom is at Poland Village Assisted Living. They seem pretty good. I've tried their food and it was good. I also like the fact that the patient could get an alcoholic beverage if they need one, like a glass of wine with a meal. It's nice for them to be able to relax and have that. The rooms are clean and very neat. The atmosphere is very upbeat. It's very comfortable and bright. It's just inviting. It doesn't look old or beat up or anything. It looks good. The staff members are friendly. There are activities, too. They take them out in the van, they have church services like mass, and they have puzzles and stuff. In general, it's kind of high and it's hard for someone on Medicare to afford it.

Everything was nice at Poland Village Assisted Living. I just feel like it was too small for my dad, and I think he needed to be in a bigger community with more people. It seemed clean and in good condition though. And the staff who gave the tour was very friendly.

My mother-in-law moved into Poland Village Assisted Living. The first thing that led me there was that they were affordable. The facility is beautiful. It looks like a home. They allow pets there. There are four dogs that live there, and 1 or 2 of the residents have cats. They do a lot of activities with the seniors. They do trivia. They play music for them. They put effort into their well-being. My mother-in-law's apartment is very nice. She got her bed, TV, little kitchenette, and everything she needed. Everybody's been extremely friendly and helpful, especially since she didn't go there under the circumstances that we would like. They took her in on the weekend, which is not something they normally do. They were more than accommodating for everything we needed. They were cheaper than some of the not-so-clean places that do nothing for the residents.

Building is very nice but there is only lpns from am till 7,8,or 9pm. Aides work at night with no nurse. There's no security,no RN during day or night. It takes hours for a nurse aide and/or nurse to answer the call light for my relative. 8-12 hours goes by before staff checks on residents. My relative needs their depends change ,staff does not do it. Our family has to come in and help our relative cuz they don't assist! This place only cares about getting their overpriced fee. Special diets can't be given...the nurses aren't nice or caring....they get mad when questions are asked....we need to find a better quality facility that cares about their residents and doesn't leave for 12 hours to be watched by nurses aides and no lpn or RN . There is never an RN here!

Wickshire SL of Poland is very good. It's much closer to my home. I can be there in about 15 or 20 minutes. The staff is wonderful. They have an awful lot of staff. We're very, very pleased with them. We had lunch there one day before my friend was admitted and we were very impressed. Her apartment is very nice. They had it freshly painted and it's very nice. They have all sorts of activities. They have her now in the memory care unit because they were afraid of her flight risk. That may change once she gets adjusted to the atmosphere and the environment and once she gets to know the people because she suffers from severe dementia. She's only been in there since Tuesday, but every time we went there, activities were going on all the time somewhere. They have crafts. They have an awful lot going on there. They have two people maybe in that social area. They have people coming in, performing music, and singing. We're very pleased.

Wickshire SL Poland was a very nice place. Everybody was very friendly, they even had a sign welcoming me when I came in. They provided lunch for me and I got a full tour of the facility. The apartment wasn't so spacious for what my father's needs were, he was bringing a king-size bed and it would have been very tight in those rooms. They had a library, game room, and physical visit, and they were playing games in the main room. When I came in, they were playing Wheel of Fortune with some of the people. They have popcorn any time and coffee, right in the opening of the building. They have one section where you can bring your dog, and I like that section. It was very friendly, the doors are open, and the dogs are walking through the hall. I thought that would be soothing to a lot of the people that miss their animals. The food was very good. I had vegetable soup and a cup of coffee immediately walking in the door, and a wonderful piece of apple pie, which I did not expect. They wanted me to taste the food, which was a very good idea.

My mom is in Wickshire SL Poland and it is a good place. They're really attentive to the residents and it's clean. The food is good and it's all homemade. The staff is real nice, knowledgeable, and caring. They have a lot of activities for them. They don't let them stay in rooms. They got live music that comes in, bingo nights, and when the weather is good, they take them out on field trips.

Wickshire Poland was nicer than the other place I visited. They gave me candy. They gave me a puzzle book, and they kept calling (though not to the point of being annoying). When they told me that I won't be going there, they were still very friendly. I liked the fact that the apartment was so big, and there was a lot that they gave you for your money. They would do your laundry whenever you wanted. They would make your bed in the morning. Housekeeping did things like that, and there were a lot of extra things. The residents all seemed friendly. They said they were pet friendly, but they really didn't seem to be. I got a better feeling at the other place.

We liked it very much, but they did not have a room available in their memory care at the time. We were impressed with them. The surroundings and the facility were very nice. The sales staff was very friendly, very kind, and answered all of our questions very well. It's a very clean, very comfortable and very homey facility. They had some lovely pastries and coffee while we were waiting, and they were delicious.

The staff, starting with the executive director, treats my mother as a member of their family. Not a day goes by without them giving her personal attention. She is kept busy with activities that are fun. Her medical needs are met. They constantly think of her next need and if puzzled about a behavior, they are always trying to find a solution.

It was absolutely fantastic. I was so surprised that it was so nice; everything about it was nice. I was so amazed. And it was so close to our house too.

My father-in-law was here for a little less than a year, and it was a wonderful place, but he had just passed away. The staff were great and accommodating. The room could've been bigger. My mother-in-law and my sister-in-law were very happy with it as they lived very close by. The dining room was nice, and security seemed fine to me.

We were able to look here, and it's a very nice facility. We came to look at a showroom, which was freshly painted and very clean, so it looked really nice. The environment itself is very nice, but it all came down to their price. We only met the director during our visit, and she was absolutely nice. The only thing I did not like was that they were large, and I felt it was a little bit too open, and I am nervous that may mother might fall.

My father lives here, and thank God everything is going well. We chose it because it is close to home, and the woman was wonderful. They are remarkable. The care given to him is superior. The work ethics are fabulous and truly good. The place is very inviting. He has a room, but I am a little disappointed because I believe it is a single room, but they did stick two beds in there, and that's the only thing. It doesn't bother him, so we just let it go. He is in the lock down because he has dementia. The food is fantastic. I tell you, they have the best cream of broccoli soup. They have great food, can't be any better. They have activities like bingo, and they put him on Wii, where he does boxing and bowling, and he just loves it. They have exercise and church. They have a lot. We are truly pleased. The living environment is nice, and I love it.

I think the people, the staff and the residents, are the best things about it. They are all very friendly. They seemed to be doing an excellent job.
