I liked that The Springs of Lima gave their people dignity. The rooms were nice and everything about it was clean and professional. It was pretty good. The people were caring. My friend liked the food. It was not an issue for her. She loved it, so they had really good food. They also had a gym, a salon, and lots of group activities.

My wife moved into the Springs of Lima. The facility is relatively new and it has easy access designed specifically for people like my wife. Each room has its own bathroom that is wheelchair accessible. The room is large enough to have two chairs besides a bed and a place to eat within the room. The facility is totally staffed by nurses and aides that are trained specifically in health care of disabled people, and they're all pretty good. There's one or two of the staff members that are a little rougher than others. My wife doesn't appreciate the way they move her around very much, so we seem to gravitate more towards the people that are a little gentler in how they handle her physically. The food is good and they do some activities.

I liked The Springs of Lima very much; however, they did not accept Medicaid on the payment (which was of a concern to me since my loved one is not dealing with a lot of assets). The person who took us through was relatively new at her job, but did very good. She answered a lot of questions and did a fine job of explaining everything. The residents looked clean, very pleasant, and seemed happy too.

My mom was in The Springs for a while for rehab. It's here in Lima. She did not stay very long, then my sister took her home. The people were very nice, however, they were very short-handed. They just didn't have enough help. That was the biggest complaint we had. Other than that, it was very nice. The staff was very good, and the room she stayed in was really nice and updated. The place is not very old, it's only about three years old. To the left was their assisted living, and to the right was their memory care ward. If you go straight back, there's the dining room, which was very nice. There were halls off of the dining area for the rest of the patients. It was set up really nice. I was not able to eat there but my mom thought the food was OK. The staffing is the only concern we had. She fell a couple of times and there just weren't enough people around to really patrol and check on the residents. We had a couple of girls who were excellent with my mom though, so we liked the staff.
