Wonderful facility. Cynthia and Steve were very helpful whenever we asked for help. The rooms were kept clean, the area is convenient. Mom stayed here for 3 years until she needed nursing home care.

A relative was a resident of this facility and was transferred to a Rehab facility after a near death experience. In the mean time all her clothes in the facility disappeared and the facility management will not respond to phone calls and deny any liability to the loss of all personal articles of the past resident.

It was a very nice facility. They had a little bit more of an apartment style living. They had some sitting areas outside, but the building itself was situated amongst other apartment buildings, so for the most part you're just looking at parking lots or buildings. It's not as scenic, but they had some sitting areas for them. They could go down for meals whenever they wanted to eat. The lady I worked with there sent me a video of what the inside of the apartment would look like as well as pictures of the main areas inside. Then, I had a meeting outside of the building. Most of the main things are located on the first floor, and we can kind of look through the windows to get an idea of what the dining room looked like. They had some chairs out there that the residents could sit in. They had a front entrance area that had some seating under the canopy and then on each end of the building, they had some sitting areas. One end had a picnic table as well as a couple of benches, but it was all open. They brought us out a pie for us and that was very good.

Of all the communities I saw, the most welcoming was here. It's been renovated recently. There were people all over the place who seemed very happy. There's a lot of movement going on. A lot of the people were involved. They seemed to be involved in doing things. They gave me a pie to take home, which was delicious. I'm a vegetarian and they were willing to accommodate my vegetarian diet, which is also important. They had pretty generic activities. The staff was extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable. I liked them very much. They checked back on me and thanked me for coming. I got an email from them, and nobody else did that. I did feel like they took an interest in me as an individual and I liked them very much.

It was OK, but we were looking for a more closed memory care unit, and they were mixed in with everybody else. The staff was very friendly and very nice. They answered all of our questions and were great. They had an open dining room and a private dining room. They also had a library and had people come in and sing and do different things. It was really nice.

It was a very clean and modern facility. It wasn’t too big, which is perfect for my mom because she will be able to find her way around easily. The employees were good, too.

I got my mom in and she’s thrilled and seems to be very happy. It’s a small enough of a facility that allows them to have more attention and one-on-one to the patients. She doesn’t have to clean, cook, and do laundry. She loves that they do outings. It’s an older building, so you don’t have all of the bells and whistles that you would in a brand-new facility, but it seemed clean and on top of it. My brother and I thought the facility was fabulous. My mom loves the food. They went really out of their way for my mom. She got in late from some appointment, and the cafeteria was already shut. A guy asked what she wanted and said he was going to cook her dinner. My mom kept apologizing that he had to open up and cook for her, and he said she was family, which made her feel so awesome.

I came across it using the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging. I have lived in this facility for 7 years. The room they have is very big. They have all kinds of stuff like bingo and shop on Wednesdays, but I am on the computer a lot. The food is good. There is nothing that they really have to improve on except maybe for staffing. I had a stroke, and I am currently in a wheelchair, but they don't have to do much for me since I do a lot. I don't need much help except maybe to shower, but that's about it. That's why I am looking for independent living in my own apartment.
