I'm living at Maple Brook at Golden Pond for people 55 and older. They leave you alone, everything's nice and quiet, and nobody bothers you. That's what I like about it, except for when I fall or something, then I have to worry because I'm disabled. You don't have to go outside to get the mail and you don't have to go outside to throw out your trash. The kitchen is 12x12, the living room is 12x12, the bedroom is 12x12, and the bathroom is really big; I have my cat box in it. The staff is friendly, and they always have a smile on their face. They have potluck once a month, bingo once a week, memory courses every other month, and blanket tying. The value is not too good because I think I'm paying a lot.

The tour I had at Maple Brook at Golden Pond was good. The rooms and the amenities were all good. They had an in-room laundry and I can get one meal a day. The living space was pretty roomy. It's bigger than I expected. Some of the studio apartments had a little kitchenette. The staff I met was good, too.
