My mother moved into The Grand of Dublin. The place is very clean. There are a lot of different little shops that they have in the bottom part of the building where you could get your hair done, go to church, or go to a movie theater. There is an ice cream shop and a little pub. It is just like a little village. The staff is very attentive. They're always checking out on her and making sure everything's OK.

I am deeply disappointed with the experience my family had at The Grand of Dublin. Despite the beautiful facility and the excellent sales staff, the actual care and management are utterly lacking, especially in the memory care unit. My father’s health plan was neglected, with no follow-through on critical aspects. Communication was a nightmare; we never received callbacks, even when situations were urgent. When my father was actively dying, it was us, the family, who had to call in hospice care because the staff at The Grand were unhelpful and unresponsive. The leadership at The Grand of Dublin shows a complete lack of empathy and sympathy. This was evident in every interaction we had with them during our difficult time. It's clear that they are more interested in maintaining appearances than providing the necessary care and support for their residents. I strongly advise against placing your loved one in memory care at The Grand of Dublin. Our experience was nothing short of awful, and no family should have to go through what we did.

I highly recommend The Grand. My mother has greatly improved after staying at the Grand. The surroundings are so clean, spacious and pleasant and the staff is calm, caring and highly competent. I enjoy visiting The Grand often and it’s a great location for a nice lunch after a visit from family and friends! Thank you The Grand for such peaceful experience for our loved one.

The aesthetics of the facility were exceptional. But even more important, the staff were phenomenal. First, let me start with Alicia, who provided consistent and accurate information in both a caring and professional manner throughout my stay! Second, the nursing staff, who are the best in the field. Included are Ken, Monique, Robert and Elizabeth to start with. Next the true "Gems" were the Physical and Occupational Therapy staff which included, Maria, Stephanie, Holly and Emily--you ladies ROCK--the best in the field. THANK YOU ALL. More to come.

It is a unique environment where it seems like you are outside when you are walking down the hallways. They have storefronts that look like you are walking down a city street instead of down the hallway inside a retirement home such as the beauty salon and a chapel, and it’s got a sky roof, a general store, and an ice-cream shop. It gives you the illusion that you are outside, like cobblestone streets. It seemed very clean, and it was very new.

From all of the places I looked at, this has the nicest rooms. They have a whole area where they have a movie theater and give you popcorn. They also have apothecary. They also have a deli setup were the residents can go. They have a little church as well as a little pub that was very nice. They gave out small glasses of wine. They also have program where they took people out for field trips.

This is a beautiful first class facility. It is brand new and everything is new and beautiful. They have an inside street that has shops, movie, ice cream shop, a chapel, a pub and so much more.
