Delaware Court was great. My sister was there and we were very happy with them. They came in and bathed her daily. They were right on top of things. There was a giant birdcage on one wall and they had these little birds in there. They had aquariums and different things for the residents. They were in their wheelchairs a lot and they roamed around and everybody was very polite. That was a very good place. I would recommend that. The meals were pretty good. Of course, a little bland, but good. My sister was put into a room with another female and she was a very good roommate. She had no problems whatsoever. They did bingo there, talent shows, and they did a lot of different things with the residents. They worked with her to get Medicaid and everything she needed to get set in there.

My biggest problem is now that I can't go visit my family member due to covid, I talk with them on the phone. I can hear in the background a nurse hollering and being rude to residents. This has happened multiple times. My relative told me the nurses name starts with a T.

My mother was in Delaware Court. It was nice, and it worked well for my mom. The staff was very caring, very helpful, and they helped mom get better. She liked the food, they had a good variety, and it was tasty. They had ice cream day, they would play games, they had someone come around and do crafts, and they made bracelets. It was a little expensive for us.

The staff are terribly overworked. One long weekend left a resident with swollen lower legs to the extent her skin was breaking apart, she was bleeding, and crying for help with the pain. The RN uses drugs (Haldol and Trazodone) to keep challenging patients docile. My mother escaped one night to the tattoo parlor across the street screaming for help!

My mother stayed at this nursing home after her back surgery. She was there for about two weeks. She received therapy which did a tremendous job getting her stronger and safe to return home. All of the nursing staff were very kind and caring. When I had questions they were there and supportive. It was a very family like environment and I couldn't have asked for better care for my mother. It didn't have a bad odor like most facilities I've visited. It was clean and the food was according to my mother "not five star dining but not as bad as hospital food." I would recommend this place to anyone.

Worst place ever. Read the reviews and it seemed like it was going to be a great place but it was just like in the movies...had our mother there for 3.5 hours and got her out of there...they made us pay $150 CASH(we would have paid whatever to get her released) they only accepted cash..No nurse, no oxygen, flies, disgusting!!! Aides playing in the hallway...Asked for nurse...she was busy..not sure she even was there. If you love them don't take them there it will break your heart!! (I wouldn't even give it one star but it was required)
