My father is in the independent area. He tells me he really likes it there and is able to easily get around despite his vision issues. He frequently goes to the gym or attends one of the many social activities they provide for the residents. It is a very bright and welcoming facility. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. He states he feels very safe there. He attends mass there on Sunday mornings which was very important to him. He has watched movies in the theater that is there. They have family brunches which we have attended many times.

My sister is at The Courtyard at Centerville. It's a new facility, so it's very bright, clean, well-maintained, and well-designed. It really stood out of all the facilities that we looked at. This facility is by far the nicest one that we have seen. They had all the amenities, like a beauty salon, plus more in this senior living section. It just has the feel of a very upscale facility when you walk in. For the assisted living they have live music that they bring in, and they have social hours. They have a movie theater and a bar onsite. They have a putting green right outside the main building. It's really nice. However, once you're in memory care you're in a locked facility. They have choices on the meals, so it's not a limited meal. They have activities every day on a schedule. Everything that they do is exceptional. Our experience has been excellent, and we were able to compare it with several other facilities, and this one is by far the best.

The Courtyard at Centerville was very, very clean. They had very large social areas. They seemed to have a lot of different activities for different people. They had a lot of amenities. They had coffee bars, they had a regular bar, and very well-advertised activities and activity calendars. The staff was fine. It is a very nice community and well thought out. However, because they are so popular, they have no availability. They had a movie theater, activity rooms, and separate dining rooms with variety. You could have a la carte as well apart from what was on the normal menu.

The Courtyard at Centerville is a very bright place, which is very significant for seniors. It was very bright and very welcoming. The staff was excellent. The facilities were outstanding. We only saw the independent living single-bedroom apartment that would be very comfortable for one person to live there. In terms of cleanliness, it was immaculate. We looked at the restaurant area and it was very promising. They have two five-star chefs. My husband and I are both diabetic, and they could accommodate our food needs. The staff was excellent.

We liked everything about the Courtyard at Centerville. The lawns and the gardens were well manicured, and it was really nice. The two-bedroom apartment units in the independent living were like condos. They had a two-car garage and everything was double. They were very nice and very new. If you just wanted to rent, the price was reasonable compared to the others. They showed us all the facilities and there were so many activities to do. They had a workout room, a pool, gathering rooms, a craft room, and a woodworking room. The staff was very nice, too.

I went to Randall Residence of Centerville. It's very nice. It's industrial, which is what most of the places are. It is a typical building where you walk in, there's a reception area, a library, a theater room, and there's a hairstylist. There's an exercise room and a rehab room. There are two dining rooms, one for independent living, if you choose to live in that large building independently, and then a segregated dining room for assisted living. That's what I didn't like. The rooms are very nice, I looked at a two-bedroom assisted living apartment, and it has a full kitchen. The staff was fine. She had the information that I asked for. They have games, exercise, movies, a happy hour, and a bus that takes you to the store. It's all of the normal senior activities that you need if you're in a senior facility. It's new.

I toured Randall Residence of Centerville and it was very nice. I believe they only had the meals for breakfast and dinner; I guess they didn't have a lunch. It was very nice, but it just didn't seem to suit our needs. The staff members were very knowledgeable and caring. They had a box lunch for us when we visited. They were very nice. There were many things to do, so it was quite nice. It's a new facility, and they had a salon, a small gym, a movie theater, and golf.

I have moved my dad into Randall Residence of Centerville two and a half weeks ago. The staff has been good. I like the availability and the location. The place is beautiful. It is fairly new, and it is very nicely decorated. The food is great; he likes that. It's been really good. I have not eaten there, but I have watched what he is served, and it looks really good and he's been very happy with the food. They keep the residents busy. Even though he does not want to participate, but they do have an activities director that comes in and invites them. They do bingo, they have invited guests, and they had a big band last couple of weeks ago that came in and did a concert. They have a theater, so they play a movie every day. All their activities have been great, it's just he chooses not to participate. I'm in there probably two or three times a day, and there's always something going on. Their staff has been great. Even if they're small problems that come up, their staff is willing to work with you and take care of the problems. I have not eaten the food, but it looks very good, and it seems very fresh. My dad can do it restaurant-style so that if it's not what he wants that day, he can have a pick of something else. He's kind of in control as to what he wants and what he wants to eat. They have ice cream at any time. They have eight flavors of ice cream that you can go down and get. They have a little bar even though it's BYOB, they have a happy hour that they do the bar from. They seem to try to accommodate their residents whether they are assisted living or independent living.

Randall Residence of Centerville is beautiful. It's a bit all new. It's set up like a one floor house. They have several different units that you can choose from. The one we picked was the Buckeye, which is 1400 square feet. Colleen was very helpful, very, very much willing to answer all our questions, very patient, and a very good tour person. The rooms were huge compared to other living spaces that I had looked at. It has two bedrooms. I can bring my own washer and dryer. I have a mudroom, and I have a great room with cathedral ceiling to make the room look even bigger. I have two bedrooms and two full baths. It's fantastic. I don't get any of the amenities because we are independent living. These are homes or places on the property, but separated (just like double homes). We didn't need the food, and we didn't need the weight room. All of it is pretty new. It's not even a year old yet, and they're still building on the property. We didn't need the amenities at this point in time. The atmosphere was very nice, very open, and very bright. When you live in the villa, food is an additional cost. The reception area was very clean and very nice. It had all kinds of little fountains around.
