My mom has moved into Fairmont of Washington Township. It's a nice place, it's clean, and it's relatively new. The facilities are nice. She is just there temporarily for respite care while her caretaker is on vacation. The staff all seem very friendly and responsive to our needs. My mom hasn't complained about the food and said it was good. It also looks like they have a wide variety of activities to keep the people engaged. They have a salon, physical therapy, and a place of worship.

I toured Fairmont of Washington Township and they had started making improvements in their facility under the new management. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very knowledgeable and was able to answer a lot of my questions. I also felt that much of the staff interacted with me throughout the tour. The place was a little bit smaller. They had a gym, a salon, and an outdoor area.

Fairmont of Washington Township was a nice facility. It was probably our second choice. It was a little bit bigger facility, and they had more than an adequate amount of staff. The staff, from what we observed, was much more interactive and positive. It was not just a job. They enjoyed what they were doing, and they truly cared for the people that they were dealing with; it was evident. You could see the response from the person they were caring for and how they were responding as well. You could see that they enjoyed being with them as well. The staff was very well picked and very well suited for what they were doing. They did things on certain nights. For example, on the first Thursday of the month they went out to eat or went to a movie. They had a list every week and then there were a lot of internal activities whether it was sing-along or outside entertainment coming in. The attention to detail and the upkeep are evident no matter where you go. Everything was kept up.

It was homier, I think. It looked like a calm, comfortable place for someone to be. It was bright, open, and everybody was very friendly. Kyle was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and gave us the tour. He kind of showed us around and introduced us to everybody. He told us about their menu, their kitchen employees and their longevity, and all of that. The facility was very nice, very clean. The layout was nice, and they had pretty much everything that you would need. They had a nice outdoor patio setup with a lot of seating. It was decorated for fall, and it was very nice.

It is a huge facility. My friend would have been totally lost there. The staff was friendly. They do a lot of trips.

I liked it very much. I got a good impression. The staff was extremely nice. I saw them dealing with residents there, and I liked what I saw. I liked the contact that they had with the patients. I was just impressed. Everyone was really friendly. There was a large activity room. I met with the director, who seemed very enthusiastic. I think they would offer just about anything that a person might be interested in. They had bingo and some social gatherings. I thought the dining room was very nice and inviting. The general area where people were sitting was beautifully decorated, warm, and comfortable-looking. I didn't feel like I was in an assisted living facility. I could have been in a hotel almost, and I was really impressed by that.

My uncle has been placed here. We chose it as it was convenient for us to visit the facility, and it was convenient for us if he needed anything. They are doing a good job so far. The facility is very good, and it has a nice atmosphere. Everything is kept very clean. Anytime he needs anything, they make sure someone is there to help him out. The staff is wonderful and no matter what questions I have, they always answer. They do have different things going like bingo and games. So far it has been really a good experience.
