My brother was at Avenue at Broadview Heights. They should close that place. He contracted pneumonia there and then it was necrotizing pneumonia, which means there's an infection on top of that. I'm sure he got it from there because the place was dirty. There was standing dirt under his bed. I had to ask for a broom one time, and the one guy said, "No, we'll get in there and clean it." They never did. There's a straw cover I saw two days in a row laying in the hallway, same place. The response of the nurse was bad. They just don't show up when he hits the button. A buddy of mine told me afterwards, "I should have told you about that place. My mother was there." Then another person told me it's just a bad place. There's nothing good about this place. They need to improve on their staff, and if they do that then everything should improve. There were nurses walking around with their cellphones stopping in a corner to talk. One of them was just like wandering the hall trying not to work.
