My husband lived at Lenoir Assisted Living. It was very bad and I'm very angry with them. My husband was in very bad condition thanks to them. He had severe bedsores and he was in the hospital for a week. The staff appeared to be nice, but they never ever alerted me that there was a problem. He had a private room and it was fine. You can also share a room. They had a front sitting area where they had a TV. They also had somebody come in to do different activities with them. The pricing was good though.

I've been meaning to write this for a while. A family member has been a resident at this facility for about 2 years. The first 1 1/2 years were OK. However the last 6 months have been pure hell. Very poor/lack of management., medication not administered correctly/timely and he ended up in intensive care. In addition, there is a bed bug infestation for sometime now that is not being addressed. Well, it will be addressed because I've notified the Health Department. Further, when I was visiting during the summer and there was a power failure, the facility did not have generators, no lights or air-conditioning. False advertising as well, the gym they advertise is a storage facility and no activities are planned for residents. Needless to say my family is no longer a resident. I would have given it "0" stars but the site wouldn't allow me to post.

Lenoir had a homey atmosphere and everybody seemed to be happy. The staff was very friendly as well as the people. They speak highly of it. The rooms were really nice. The grounds looked good, neat and clean. The dining area was nice and spacious. It was nice, but just wasn’t a good fit for my family member because she needed more help than what they could give.

Lenoir Assisted Living’s location is good, everything seems to be fine and reasonably priced. It looks like the care is good. My parents have individual rooms with a small bathroom and a sink. My brother and my parents are pleased.

It’s not final yet but we have chosen Lenoir Assisted Living. The staff was incredibly personable. It didn’t seem to be all about the money. This was the first place that offered to assess our father prior to him moving in. So that’s why we’re favoring them. They’re very cost effective too.
