My father is living at Spring Arbor and loves it. The rooms are good size and very clean. The staff is amazing. From the first time I spoke to Chalea, she made me feel at peace with regards to my father. The nursing staff are great as well as the aids and kitchen staff. I don't have any complaints. My father loves the food also. They do a lot of activities and go places. We're so glad we found Spring Arbor of Kinston.

My father has been living in Spring Arbor of Kinston for five months. What I like best about the community is that the staff takes time to learn about their residents and to make that connection to show that they care for the residents' well-being. They want to make sure that each resident feels very safe and comfortable living in their facility. I like their engagement with the residents to make them feel comfortable there. My father lives in a companion room where he's with another male. I like the companion room unit because he and the other male do not share the same bedrooms. They have their own room with a single bed. They just share the unit with the living room space. It's like a little apartment with a bathroom. So I like that for them, having that privacy and having their own space. They also have activities. They have posted them on a monthly calendar so that the residents, visitors, caregivers, and family members could see what activities were presented there daily at the facility. So far, my father has not complained about their food. From the look of it when I watched them eat in the cafeteria, the food looked very high-end restaurant-style food. I'm very pleased with the visuals of the food.

Spring Arbor of Kinston was a great facility. Everything about it was really nice. The rooms were very nice, clean, and tidy. The staff was very nice, very engaging, very comforting, and very helpful. I did not try their food, but I saw their food and it looked really good. They had an activities plan where their everyday activities were posted. I saw the game room and the exercise room. It's very upbeat and cheery.

Spring Arbor had very clean rooms that were very nicely laid out and good response from the staff. All I could see in their dining area were just basically the tables and everything, but everything looked fine. We just basically toured the rooms and the facility as far as the dining area and the other common areas. I did not see any activities going on, let alone on a Sunday. I was only there on a short-term -- just me and my wife looking for for my mother and trying to get information -- and what I saw was really nice. I saw an activity room and the dining hall, and then they had an area for walking outside and a place for them to sit around outside.
