I've been a resident 2.5 years. Most rooms have 2 people. We have had a lot of quarentine since Covid hit USA. The director did bring 2 Covid shots in early 2021. We got Flu and Booster Covid late Oct, 2021. Bradford Village West is a intimate assisted living with all kinds of reasons residents are here. We have a great director, resident coordinator , maintenance manager and activity director. We are kept busy with many activities. It is a difficult time for all facilities during covid. I do know Director works hard keeping us safe. The kitchen staff is very good. We have variety of kinds meals and snacks. I am thankful for a safe place. Residents are encouraged to get involved. We have a good selection of books. There are 2 large screen TV's in Dayroom. Our facility is clean. The aids and med tech work hard to make sure baths and changing are done regularly. There are many seasoned residents that welcome new residents.

The rooms are ok. The food isn,t the best it could be better, Most of the staff are good you are going to always have some that are,nt to friendly . They have had a lot of turn overs but the ones they have right now is good There are worse place that this but, there are better places too. It is all about what you can afford. You get what you pay for.

I have been at Bradford Village West since 2019 Summer. I have seen 4 directors with high turn over in aids, med techs, cooks and housekeeping. Right now there is a lot of anger. Aids yelling adv dementia / Alzheimer's residents. Med techs yelling at residents. Transportation yelling at folks while we are in n dining room...I have been looking for new Senior Living/Assisted Living since Jun. I am MTG with my outside rep tomorrow. It's unnerving the anger here right now. 2 directors ago did a remodel inside ie painting all areas and putting hard wood floors in day room. Physically the bldg looks better but attitudes are terrible right now. Think twice putting your loved one here.

Stay away! State investing! A lot of angry mean staff! No director since last one walked out! Under state investigation! Bed bugs! Not a good place to put loved ones!

Our parents moved into The Gardens At Bradford Village and it is excellent. It's an independent community and we have 12-hour care coming in. The staff is excellent, very friendly, and extremely helpful. They have planned activities and they take the residents shopping. The place itself is very clean, neat, very pretty, and also very safe. The size of their room is excellent. My parents are in a handicapped unit. It's a private apartment that has a door to the outside, so it's not like it's in a building-building. It's a brick building, it seems to be very efficient, and it's adequate for my parents. It's also very nicely laid out. They cleaned the room very nicely and prepared it for my parents within three days, so that was very nice.

My father-in-law moved into Bradford Village West. It's pretty good. They got him in when I needed to get him in. The price is not too bad and is somewhat affordable. His room is not bad and they furnished a bed, a dresser, and a little entertainment center, and they provide cable. He has an adjoined bathroom which he shares with another room. The food looks alright and my father-in-law seems to like it. They try to keep them engaged with bingo and movie nights. The staff has been pretty attentive to the people, and every time I talk to them they have smiles. I haven't seen any attitudes. The place is a little old and outdated, but it suits his needs.

My Mother in Law was here and I found that the care was better here than where we had moved her from. They have activities and they didn't treat her as a number. If you are unable to provide a home for your loved one due too working or physical needs than this is the place for them. Just visit your family member more than once a year.

Bradford Village West is where my mother and my stepfather are. But I hate the place; my mother has dementia but not very much. She is 84, and it’s most physical needing help getting up and down, and I didn’t realize that they took people of all levels of care. Most of the residents have advanced Alzheimer’s; they are just out of their head. The rooms have of course two beds in it for two people, and their cots have mattresses that are about 3 inches on them. I called because they were letting my mother sit in urine all day long because they wouldn’t help her get to the bathroom, and I talked to them about that. Her legs are breaking out and roll on the inside -- not a good place. The food is horrible, but most of the people there albeit most of the residents there may not even know how to eat. It is a plain dining room. It’s everything I would not want for my mother. I am wondering if you happen to know how hard it is to get someone move from one place to another. They had crafts in the dining room. They have a living room that you walked into, and that’s all the room they have there so everyone is really just sitting in there all day long. It seems to be an OK place for advanced Alzheimer’s patients. It is the best place for regular seniors with diminished mentality. It is really catering to the more advanced sick people.
