My husband has moved into Brookdale Skeet Club. So far, it's great. Of course they're keeping a lot of visitors out because of the coronavirus that is going on right now. I go see him and talk to him on the phone every day, so that makes me feel really good. I haven't met many of the staff, but the ones that I have met are extremely courteous and helpful. I don't know much about the food because I'm never there at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, but I'm sure my husband would be complaining if he didn't like it. The facility's cleanliness is very good. For my husband's room we were able to take our own bed, dresser, chair, and TV, which was kinda nice because that way we were able to take what he wanted instead of just what was in there. I don't know much about activities because he had to be quarantined for the first 14 days he was there. I don't know much about their activities because I haven't seen my husband participating. The facility is very good and very nice. I wish it was cheaper because it's pretty expensive. My hope right now is that within a couple of months the VA is going to kick in.

We went to Brookdale Skeet Club. It was very quiet. We talked to all the residents. They had been there for a long time and were very pleased with the facilities. And just the layout of the whole place was good. The size of the room is large enough for a king-sized bed, chair, and dresser. And maybe a small chest or something, but not more than that. But it's more than adequate for a person. The community felt sort of like it was a home environment.

This place is HORRIBLE! They take 40 minutes to answer the emergency call button. The staff ignore the resident. No compassion at all. The charges are outrageous. Don’t think you’ll be paying what sales quotes because they constantly tack on charges for every little thing.

The staff was forever changing which made it difficult for mother to adjust. 2 mgmt in 2 years, dozen or so CNAs. They were not managing her meds so she had to be hospitalized then refused to evaluate her and then increased the rate for bed so that it was not affordable for her/us. Would not put anyone you love there for them to care for.

Brookdale Skeet Club was very homey, it had a pleasant atmosphere, and it was very clean. It was geared toward making each resident feel like it was their home and like they were allowed to personalize their bedrooms even if they share the room. The people I interacted with seemed professional, but I did not interact with a whole lot of the staff members. The lady who gave me all the information, Pam, was very informative and answered a lot of my questions. She gave me the tour and she didn't pressure me. The rooms were clean and homey. They let the families of the residents help to personalize their loved one's room. They weren't huge rooms, but they were large enough. They have multiple activities that were geared toward making them feel comfortable, at home, and stimulated.

My father was in Brookdale Skeet Club. The staff there gives 400% as far as caring for their residents. I'm blown away with the level of care and the way they get to know their residents. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They serve three meals a day. The staff was great. He was only there a few days before he had to go to hospice care. I highly recommend them.

My mother has her own room at Skeet Club Manor, but she only has a half bath. It always seems to be pretty clean. I like the fact that she has her own room. Their location is good for me because it's two blocks away from my son's house. The food was a big disappointment. I went around and asked different people who lived there to find out what the food was like, and they told me they liked it and it was good. Well, it is not good. Mother has a little half refrigerator, and I keep her stocked with alternate food that she can have if she doesn't really want to eat what's there. She is losing weight while she is there, and even though I keep brining food to her, she is continuing to lose weight.

We decided to do a drop-in visit at Skeet Club Manor. The sales manager was very cheerful and gave us some information. There was some unevenness in the air conditioning that was going on, and I think they were working on that as well. After lunch, the residents weren't really out and active at that time. If I remember correctly, the chef was very engaging and talked about how they use fresh ingredients. He asks the residents what they want to eat and what special foods they want. The rooms were of adequate size. The concern for me was that it was a little bit farther for me.

Extremely clean, well-run facility, Very light and breezy feel, tastefully decorated and lovely atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and quite interactive with residents. Part of Brookdale Senior Living, they offer programs that cater to the individual resident's needs. During my tour, I was able to speak with several residents who have lived there for some time and all comments were quite positive. Very impressed!

Skeet Club Manor was fine, nice, clean and the programs been good. They have a lot of things that people can do on their own and they have trips where they go out as a group. There doesn't seem to be problems with other people.

Skeet Club is fine and there's nothing wrong there. My mom needed more care and I didn't realize it until afterwards.

I was very pleased with how the nurses and staff treated my grandfather. He seemed to be well taken care of and was happy with the way he was living. The food they served him was delicious and the facility was very neat.

I toured this facility while exploring options for my grandfather who has dementia and cannot walk. It was appealing to me especially because of the location. It was about 2 miles from my parent's home. It is a very nice facility. The residents I observed and spoke to seemed to really like it there. There are alot of activities for those who can participate. They provide many services for residents who require more care. Ultimately we decided the best option for him was to care for him at home. Had we chosen to put him in a facility this was my 1st choice!

Skeet Club Manor doesn't necessarily knock you off your feet from the outside but from the inside it has everything one would need. A barber/salon, game room, dining facility, etc. The outside is very spacious and actually the inside is also. The tenants seemed quite nice and they were a "hoot" to be around. Some of them had old war stories to share. The staff seemed to care about the patients and their job which was a big plus for me . It almost seemed like everyone considered everyone else family. The word that comes to mind would be flow. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who feels that family is an important part to unity.
