My wife moved to Terrace Ridge. The food was excellent. The facility was clean and well-managed. The room she's in is fine and it's nice. The staff was very nice and informative. They do have quite a long list of activities at that facility, but of course, my wife is limited to the point where she is not involved in any of those. They have games and special events. They have external trips for movie trips and things like that. The value is pretty good.

Terrace Ridge was an excellent and extremely nice place. The staff was really friendly. They were very helpful, and they got back and followed up with us. They've just been very attentive, and that's important. We looked at a private room and a shared room, and I thought they were very nice. The dining area was set up more like a restaurant, which I liked. The menu looked good, too. The living atmosphere looked pretty good. The residents were able to go to ball games, stage plays, and shopping. They also do a lot of activities during the day, like games and Bible studies.

Caregiving staff at Terrace Ridge are kind and patient and work hard. There is rapid turnover of staff and always too many new ones. Too often, staff members are seen working extra long shifts to provide adequate coverage. Management tends to stay separate from staff and residents. They all go to lunch together leaving the office empty. They are not visible or attentive. There is rare communication with the family members of residents and it is usually about an issue. The food is usually adequate. There are some odd combinations. The activity program lacks variety and is not aimed to involve or help those residents with dementia.

My father is in Terrace Ridge. It is good. Some neighbors who lives there recommend it, that's why we went with that one. The food could be better, but it's not bad. They offer day trips to places. He likes it there.

My mom was at Terrace Ridge for 7 years and was well taken care of. Mom was there until her death in June 2017. The end of her life was covered with loving hands and care to meet her needs. It was a blessing not to have to move her to another place. We are thankful for the staff that loved her and her children.

This is the finest assisted living facility in Gaston County. Their staff and management is top-notch. I read the previous review and really don't buy it! The staff treat the residents as family and will do whatever is needed to make the transition from home to your loved ones' home-away-from-home as seamless as possible.

I thought Terrace Ridge was a very pretty place. The bottom line is my brother is blind and I stopped considering them when I realized they were not going to go down and get him and bring him up to eat. They were talking to us about having him learn how many steps it is to the facility to eat and that we would need to come up and help him to learn, yet their prices were higher.
