The Drake is very nice. It looks like they have plenty of activities. It's very organized. The staff seems to be very active around my mother and all the rest of the residents, and I like that. They have this big room where most of them spend the biggest part of the day. There is a lot of sunshine and nice views. My mom does some physical therapy there. They play a lot of music. It's the cheapest and the nicest I could find. The courtyard is very nice and very well laid out. The rooms are very nice and clean. They smell good, too. The community is very welcoming.

My mother will be moving to The Drake. I chose it because it was just a very clean, nicely furnished, and beautifully decorated place. It had what she needed as far as getting her private space, which was plentiful, but she also had plenty of space for socialization. They answered all my questions, got back in touch with me very quickly, and have just been very helpful in getting the ball started and moving her there. It wasn't all up to me to get things rolling, they got things rolling. I noticed they had areas where the residents and their guests could have snacks and drinks out readily, and we were invited to take whatever we would like. So that was nice. The facility was beautiful. They told me everything, showed me around, and answered all my questions about all the services they have. They do some field trips, parties, and different types of activities on-campus. He talked about them going to different places, having a game night, a movie theater, and a lot of different things. My mother will have a lot of opportunities to have fun.
