When my sister fired arrived at Brookdale she was in a wheel chair and unable to do much of anything. The staff has worked with her assisting her needs. Now she is able to get up out of a chair and sit down without assistance. Most of all she is able to walk with her walker everywhere she needs to go. The staff is awesome , friendly and caring. Thank you Brookdale for giving my sister b er life back.

I toured Brookdale Concord Parkway. The staff were very friendly and caring. They care for their patients. They have a very courteous staff, and they seem to be on top of everything. They're really good. During the time that we came, they were sort of in between activities. They talked about their activities and what they had on a weekly basis, and they sounded very good. The room was really, really nice. It had enough space for all the furniture and everything, so it would have been a quite comfortable room for my mother. They have some areas where they could gather and listen to some music or do other activities. It was really clean in there. They definitely took care of the place.

Brookdale Concord Parkway was a very professional place. The environment was nice, and the facility was nice. Overall, everything was nice - the dining room, the staff, the atmosphere, and the level of the games and activities that they had for the residents. It was immaculate. The guy that did the tour was very professional but he's very personable. That was the top of the line.

I toured Brookdale Concord Parkway. It looked very professional. We were happy with it. Everyone looked happy. We got to see what the room would look like and where they would be eating. We got to see the library and the beauty salon. It was all very nice. The room was just like your typical dorm room, but you had to bring your own furniture. However, my dad was kind of upset that we have to bring the furniture in. They have an indoor space in the middle of the pod. It has a piano and board game tables. They have events there for you to attend. It was nice and simple. They have a coffee station, so you can go buy and get your coffee any time you want it, so that was nice. The staff who took us around was terrific. I didn't think he was just treating us as a salesperson by all means. I believed he had our goodwill in his thoughts. He was trying things for us. I would say that it was great.

Brookdale Concord Parkway was a great facility. It was very clean and had a lot of things for the seniors to do. It's a great facility all the way around. The staff members were very helpful, very nice, and seemed to have their hearts into taking care of the seniors. They seemed to do a good job there. It's not far from the hospital, and some restaurants are nearby.

I toured Brookdale Concord Parkway for my dad. It seemed like it was lively. It didn't seem like you are walking into a place that looked sad. They have a patio. They said they have activities, but I can't remember which ones. The rooms are spacious.

My parents live in Brookdale Concord Parkway. It's been great so far. It's a clean, nice facility. People seem to care about them. I'm not 100% sure of their activities, but I know they do stuff with them pretty much all day. They got a garden out back and they let them go out and plant flowers and do stuff like that. I know they have activities, but I don't know exactly what they do. My parents' apartment is nice, clean and has plenty of rooms. Their staff is friendly.

I'm going to choose Brookdale Concord Parkway for my mom because it was just very, very welcoming when you walk in. It felt like you were not walking into an assisted living because the people (the residents) were up walking around. They had a person to greet you when they came in the door, and they have an ambassador program when new people come in. They have someone with them to be their buddy for the first two weeks in some areas. I just felt very comfortable there. The staff that gave the tour was very wonderful. The building was beautiful, and they had a really nice walking area and an outside area for the residents. It was very, very nice. I was very pleased. It was very clean. The outdoor area was very beautiful the way it's laid out. It's kind of like you're in a subdivision, like a suburbs setting. It is very nice.

We really like Brookdale Concord Parkway. It's really nice. The tour was a very nice experience. The lady at the reception toured us because the other person wasn't there. She was very nice, very accommodating, and explained things to us. It was a very good experience. The tour was very helpful and very encouraging. The facility was very nice. The rooms were very nice, very spacious, and very homey. They were playing some games with some of the residents. They have a little coffee nook where the patients are free to get coffee. It appears that they have a lot of amenities. The rooms were nicely decorated for Christmas. They take trips. I noticed that the dining rooms are very nice. They have an overflow dining room that was very nice. They have individual bathrooms and showers, which is extremely important. They were allowed to have their own personal refrigerators and microwaves. One resident was kind enough to show us her room, and it was just so homey and nice. She had all the amenities of a home. She had her own bed. They were allowed to bring their own equipment to make it their home, so that transition is good.

One of the main things about our tour at Brookdale Concord Parkway was the person we met with, that was very knowledgeable of the ins and outs of Social Security. He was sort of going out of his way to help, he felt very concerned and showed empathy for the poor clients. The facility is more on the newer side. The patients seem happy. They looked like they had a beauty salon there, and they have a little area like a living room type of setting for the residents.

We got to tour the whole facility of Brookdale Concord Parkway, and I was very pleased. It was clean and a beautiful facility, and the staff was exceptional. Everybody was nice and everything was immaculate. What was surprising to me was when you look at it from the front, it doesn't look like it is as large as it is. It was a wonderful facility and we're seriously considering placing my mother there. I talked with the sales manager, Blake, and when he called me to confirm the appointment, I was thinking about not coming because I didn't have anybody to keep my mother with, but he insisted that I bring her along. Everybody else was telling us not to bring her, but my mother loved it and if she had a choice, that's where she wanted to be placed. The amenities were exceptional. I liked the different things that they're involved in with the residents. On the assisted living side, I was very impressed with the size of the room. They were extremely large and very spacious. Then in the memory care, even with a companion, the rooms were spacious as well, and I liked the idea that they had private rooms. I loved the beautiful courtyard that they have for the memory care people where they could go out and visit. They do arts and crafts or they go to the library if you want to have some quiet time. You could also have birthday parties or gatherings with your loved ones there. I like the idea that they provide transportation to doctor visits and I was impressed that there's always a nursing staff 24/7 in memory care. Another thing that I liked about Brookdale Concord Parkway was they have monthly meetings with the residents, where they give them the option to voice their concerns about things that they don't like or disagree with. If they don't like certain meal plans or they're serving too much of the same thing, the residents can voice their opinion on that too.

I went to Brookdale Concord Parkway and I was able to see enough to see if that was what I was interested in. There seemed to be a lot of the residents out in the common areas, talking and visiting with each other, instead of in their rooms alone. It was nice, it was very nice. The staff was very nice, very helpful, and very pleasant. It was not a brand new facility, but it was very well maintained and clean. She showed me the beauty salon. It felt homier.

The tour at Brookdale Concord Parkway was good. We saw their memory care, and their staff was great. The facility is good and the rooms were fine. I would just say they need more cleaning up. The residents are able to walk outside and plant flowers in a garden. They have an eating area and an area where they play games. They can walk around, exercise, and play bingo there too. They're very nice and they care about the seniors.

Sales made everything look great and made me feel that they would provide excellent care. They said there would be approx. two week adjustment period. My relative wasn’t in there for two days til an altercation happened and my relative was sent to the hospital. No one saw the altercation but my relative was blamed. Then I received a call that he fell out of a chair and that the chair was on rollers I don’t remember ever seeing a chair on rollers. Then they sent him to the hospital because he said he didn’t want to live any longer. The resident he shared the room with was allowed to set it up as his own private room and my relative was only given a small space to reside in. When management was confronted they said it would be discussed in a meeting. After their meeting my relative was dismissed from their facility. I was told one thing and treated very differently. This was suppose to be a memory care facility but my relative wasn’t even given a week to get adjusted he spent his time in the hospital. The staff were so tight lipped about everything and there were so many chains of command no one could get their stories straight. I know this is a very stressful time when choosing a place for your loved one. Hopefully this review will help someone see this is not a perfect community.

This review is recent as of 5/21/21. My experience with this facility is nothing but frustration and disappointment. When I inquired about the services, the sales department did a fabulous job at wheeling me in. They made me feel that what I was looking for I will have and more.Once my parents moved in, it changed. The food is horrible! Residents are leaving their food at the tables. I've had to take meals for my parents. Some of the staff are rude. Be careful with the Med Tech administering medications - they make mistakes! They are not consistent with their rules, there's definitely discrimination. The facility is nice and clean but the rest of what they are selling is complete the opposite. What's more disappointing is that the area director and upper management does not return calls, emails or any correspondence of concerns. They've made errors with my dad's medication that caused him to go to the hospital. I would not recommend this facility.

We visited Brookdale in Concord. From our first impression, everything was very nice, and very clean. Everyone seemed really nice, the staff, and everything, so I'm hoping my mom is going to have a really good experience there. There's a very nice dining room, and they also have different activities from what they told me. They have a little kitchen that they let the residents do some cooking activities in, and it looked very nice. They have a nice TV room, a library, and a formal living room. The rooms were a nice size too and you could bring your own furniture, like you would in your home. We really liked that she could take her own furniture in.

My father moved into Brookdale Concord Parkway the 1st week of January. The facility is clean. The people are very pleasant and easy to deal with. They go out of their way to try to help you out to meet your requests. He seems very happy right now. Sometimes, he is not the easiest to deal with, but he hasn't complained. The people seem to try to help him the best they can. It has been a pleasant surprise so far. My father has a private studio room. He is 88, but he is pretty active. He enjoys exercise class, and he also enjoys it when they take him out and let him go for a walk outside. Those things have been good for him. They set up a class in the common area. They actually work him out, which is good. Because of the Covid, we could only visit him from outside his window. It is not great right now, but it has nothing to do with the facility. I'm actually glad the way they have it set up. There's not a lot of people coming in and out. He said the food is fine. The facility costs us $7000 a month though.

My father moved into Brookdale Concord Parkway and his experience was terrible. They had done their assessment and they knew that he has a mild cognitive impairment. So on the first week after he tried to leave because he was confused as to where he was, so they put an ankle bracelet on him. After that, other than being confused about things, he never tried to leave again. We found out that they had not been giving him his meds as they should. So they called us and said that we needed to find another place for him to live. They were adamant that they couldn't ensure his safety and said that we needed to find another place. My father us in their assisted living level, and although they have a memory care unit, they don't have an opening. The staff that interacts with my dad is wonderful. I haven't eaten the food, but he likes it and he joins their activities, but I haven't been there when he does that.

My mother was living in Brookdale Concord Parkway. They bent over backwards to make her comfortable, although she wasn't happy that I put her there. The family went to see her several times a week. She had soup for supper and wanted saltine crackers, so they went out into the rain to the other building to get saltines for Mama. That spoke volumes to me. The staff is like any other place, but there are some people that you could say are just there for the paycheck. The place itself is really very clean. I think they should make it more widely known what their choices are, like if they don't want what they're having for dinner they could choose something else. So some of the residents' kids fill me in, but it's not terrible.

I was not as impressed with Brookdale Concord Parkway as I was with the other community I saw. It was very clean, but in the dementia unit, I don't think they would get as much attention. The patients that I saw were very sad looking. They were sitting around in wheelchairs doing nothing. I didnt like that. When I walked in, I was not impressed at all. The director was very nice and very friendly.

Both my husband and I visited the dementia care area first, and once we started observing the residents, a few had soiled their clothing and were being ignored. I also noticed one resident needed help eating - and he was being ignored as well. Later, we went into the assisted living and noticed a man sitting in the general open area outside the dining room - in his underwear. One of the ladies who lives there - commented that the women have complained about his underwear and no one makes him wear his pants. Another visitor stopped us and mentioned that he has noticed the same issues - than he had noticed feces smeared on the bathroom doors in the dementia care unit.

Brookdale Concord Parkway hadnt been maintained for quite a while. The exterior hasn't been repaired and you can see water damage. When I went inside, it smelled like urine. The staff that assisted me was not very helpful either. It seemed like the management wasnt on top of things and they didnt really care much about what goes on there. While I was there, someone was playing the piano and singing. They need to improve on everything.

The people at Brookdale Concord Parkway were fantastic. The room was really functional, not really large, but just big enough for the purpose it serves. I enjoyed myself over there. The atmosphere was very nice. I didn’t spend much time there; just a quick look and that’s about it. I enjoyed my visit, the place looked very nice and comfortable, and it was clean.

I really liked Brookdale Concord Parkway but I couldn’t take advantage of the special that they had at the time which would have been in our price range but the reason we backed off was because we were trying to make a decision if we want to go into the apartment setting or the single home development. They were very clean, very nicely furnished in the lounges and the area for reading and where they do music and in the restaurant area. It looked like an apartment building but when you go inside, it’s almost like a resort. There was nothing really wrong with it except the rooms were a little too small.

I was actually interested in Brookdale Concord Parkway. I liked it better than other places, but my mother did not. It was a nice, large community. For some reason, my mother did not feel comfortable, but I thought it was better than the one that she wound up choosing.

We went to Brookdale Concord Parkway, and their staff was very good. We looked a private room, and the bathroom with the shower looked good. With their food, they try to regionalize their menu for their residents. They do have a fitness center. They do card games and word games as well. They also have arts and crafts.

I visited Brookdale Concord Parkway. The assisted living part was very nice, very open, and clean, but the memory care living part was very depressing. They played very loud music all the time, and some of the areas were not very well kept. The facilities of the memory care part were not very nice. I went on a Saturday, and it was just one of the assistants that took me around. There wasn't a person from the administration or nursing; it was just one of the aides that took me around. In the memory care area, the rooms were smaller. They have medication management and assistance with meals. They have meals three times a day. I thought they really needed to update their facility in the memory care area.

i visited this community while looking for my grandmother who is out of state. I liked that it was close to the hospital and a stoplight. The Activities Director said they make weekly trips out to nearby stores and restaurants which I thought was was great. I met a few residents on my tour that day that seemed to like it there that said they lived there for a while. Lunch smelled good, was unable to stay due to other tours in area but would've liked to. My grandmother would've been for regular assisted living but said they had another smaller building for folks with dementia and alzheimers. overall, i liked the community but grandmother decided to stay in Nashville area, wouldve strongly considered this building because of how helpful they were on the tour.

Brookdale Concord was also small, the rooms were very little, and I didn’t like that. They did have 1-bedroom, but they didn’t have anything empty. They all have times where they take people out to the grocery store and to the mall and take the residents out.

Brookdale was very nice -- it’s laid out very nicely and it’s got a lot of common areas for the residents to sit in. Their healthcare facility seems good -- they have a beautiful dining room so they’ve got enough place to eat. They’ve evidently got a choice of foods that they can choose from every day. It was just that I would have had to pay out of pocket for a year before I got my sister in that one, but I do recommend the place. I like the friendliness of the staff best, and they are definitely concerned with me. They have called me several times to come over and they can support me, which I have done. They definitely reached out to the community, there’s no doubt about it.

My mom is in Brookdale Place Concord. It is very good. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. They have two options for the rooms. They have a private room and a shared room. My mom is in a private room. My mom says overl all the food is okay, but she wish they have some selections on something. They have activities like bingo, music and church services. It is a nice single floor so my mom can go along with her walker and not walk down the elevator or anything. However, I think they need a better timing on their medication because my mother's medication is very time sensitive and sometimes they don’t give it to her within the window of time that she needs it. So, I am thinking they need a more timely staff to help with the medicine.

I like Brookdale Place Concord because it seemed like a friendly-kind of place and everybody seemed to care. It's a nice facility, but I think the rooms were kind of small. We didn’t really see all their activities, but I know they seem to have something planned almost every day for everybody to do.

My dad is at Concord Place. It is a very nice place. It is very clean. They have great activities. My dad is participating in Wii bowling, singing, bingo, and jeopardy. His room is OK. It is little too tight for two people, but it is a clean room with a clean bathroom. The staff is very nice. Food is not good, though. It is lacking for my dad. They'll sit in the cafeteria for like 30 minutes to an hour before they get fed. However, the dining is probably more like hotel type of place. It is very nice. It is clean, too.

My mother really likes Concord Place. They have lots of activities, and the rooms were nice and a nice size. Mom said the food is not always the greatest, though. The staff seemed nice, I’ve never asked somebody for something and not been helped. They bring musicians in, people who play the piano, and they have preachers come at different times. They played Bingo, Jeopardy, and Wii bowling.

Concord Place is very clean. The staff is really nice. My mother-in-law has been there for about a month now. It's a really nice place, so we're really pleased. It has big rocking chair on the front porch that she enjoy sitting out watching the birds. She gets physical therapy, they have Bible studies, they have games, and they take her to her appointments because it's easier for them because they have a van. Some of our friends are there. It's close and convenient for my husband to go back and forth. I think they do really well with the things they have to do.

If it had not been under remodel, it would have been a nice place. It was just that there was so much remodeling going on that it appeared dirty and not well-kept. I understand that it was difficult to keep the place clean, but still, there were people living there. That was my only concern there.

The staff were excellent and very friendly. Cleanliness and a nice facility were what drew us to the place. All in all, they took good care of my grandmother and I'm not able to thank them enough. Also, the focus and attention they bring to their patients is top notch and I would recommend anyone with a disabled elderly parent/grandparent to consider going to them.
