They have well lit and ventilated rooms which are cleaned regularly. The working staffs are polite to all our requests. As the rooms are cheap with all basic amenities, it's a real steal!

My aunt will be going to Absolute Care Assisted Living. We met the owners, and they were very attentive. They were willing to work with my aunt and make sure she felt safe and secure. I think pricing had a lot to do with it. She was willing to work with my aunt on her budget. They were very good people. They made us feel comfortable with the whole transition. The rooms were a little small. They don't have their own private bathrooms, so my aunt didn't really like that. Otherwise, it was a nice facility. They have a gym, and they have transportation for the residents. It's a beautiful setting, nice, and peaceful. It's not too far out of the city. I live in Raleigh, so it's only about a 30-minute ride from Raleigh.

I have been a resident at Absolute Care Assisted Living Facility in Angier NC since February 1, 2019. My tenure at this facility has been very good. I consider the facility to be my home. The Management personnel are very professional and efficient. The support Staff is also very good. My needs are taken care of in a timely fashion and always with concern and courtesy. The physical facility is well maintained and the food is very well prepared and portions are more than generous. The Management Assisted with all of my benefits paperwork and SSI appointments. Transportation to and from my medical and physical therapy appointments is provided. There are on campus residents activities and periodic supervised field trips for the residents. My overall health is improving thanks in a large part to Absolute Care Staff and The Facility. James Blocker

I was impressed with the facilities and staff. The other reviews are partially correct in that there are some staff members whose lack of friendliness and demeanor indicates that they do not like working there. But far and away, the vast majority of the staffers are kind and genuinely concerned about your welfare. I think have the staff go above and beyond, even as far as running errands for clients when they are off duty. The building is elderly, but so are the residents. The food looks bad, not even as good as Army mess hall chow, but it is edible. It says something when the staff brings their own food. This place is not one of those swanky assisted living places, but then it costs less money. I would not hesitate to recommend Absolute Care to any body who wants a cheap alternative.

You get what you pay for and, and Absolute Care is a bargain for the price. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn’t cost $10,000 a month like the “designer” assisted care homes. Most of the staff is courteous and you can tell that they genuine care about their chstges, The food is nutritious, but it is not on par with a fine restaurant. The beds are comfortable and there is television in every room. I was most impressed that the owner (Carolyn)bud not a hands-off owner. Rather, she takes takes an active role In management and ensures that the staff meets her demanding standards. For the dollar, Absolute Care is a great value.

We visited Absolute Care Assisted Living. The care was probably good, but the place was older, and the inside appeared to be older. The rooms were fine. They had transportation and an activity room. The staff members I met were very nice.

I have toured the building for people who are not able to do much for themselves at Absolute Care. Like most nursing homes, it did not meet my expectations. It was not up to par, there was no modern furniture, it was understaffed, and there was no receptionist there. The layout of the place wasn't good and I wouldn't want my personal loved one to go there. The person who gave me the tour did very well and explained what they were capable of doing.

I live out of state so I made a few calls to see about the area , to find a place for my uncle. I was able to walk straight into a building look around to find a very nasty bathroom that reeked of urine . I also was able to see a worker man handing a elderly woman for walking around the building back to the living room to quickly push her on to the sofa .Also after looking around I noticed what maybe mice dropping along with mouse traps in the kitchen of the other building. After looking for a bit of time I made my choice this was not a good fit for my family. Later I saw workers but none of them said hello or showed me any attention. With that being done made me also wonder if the workers are even happy to be working there. But I know I had no reason to talk to management or even think about moving him there. But what is even more alarming is the previous reviews I don't know what I would do if my uncle had a BLACK EYE.

My grandma has dementia, and she stayed for about 5 months. I went one time to visit her me she had bruises on both of her arms, no one had any explanation on what happened. If you think that is bad there is more, a few months later I went to visit her for New Years and she had a black eye and a knot on her forehead. Everyone said she fell if her bed. The bed is very low and there is no way she only hit her eye when she fell. Another time I went every one who was working there was asleep while all the residents were awake. They also do not do any activities, they just sit there and watch T.V. 24/7. I definitely do not recommend this for you or your loved ones.

I was not very fond of Absolute Care. They did not show me where the current residents were living. There were four buildings and the building they showed me was a separate building for activities. It didn’t seem that nice. They had extra stuff sitting on the porches, like extra TVs sitting out there. The flooring had been re-done, but it wasn’t re-done entirely. There were no handrails in the building, too. The people seemed very nice, but it wasn’t where people were actually living.

I was a little intrigued with Absolute Care. It had a different set up than most places, called a cluster community. Instead of having one building that houses everybody, there are separate houses. Each house has maybe a dozen residents with their own staff and their own dining room. It’s a much more intimate and smaller environment, which could work well for some patients, especially for the memory care patients that get upset by crowds. They had a lot of work to do because they’re really just getting started. They had bought a little area that had several residences and are in the process of converting them over to accommodate patients. The one thing that did bother me was that the staff would not take me through a home that had residents in it. That gave me cause for concern. I wasn’t impressed enough to consider it for my mother.

I really enjoyed the hospitality, the atmosphere and the way they made me feel like I was at home. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for somewhere for their love ones to stay.
