My dad's cousin stayed at Cadence Garner. I know her daughters were happy with it, and I was impressed when I went. I didn't have any concerns about it. She had a shared room. I was with her while she was eating, and I saw some of the care that was provided to her and the people around her with whatever they needed. I was in the salon with her because she was getting her hair done, and I was in there for a while. That was interesting and fun to watch all the ladies getting their hair done. The front desk was nice. It was a very pretty place. It looked like a hotel inside. It was somewhere that I would have been interested in if I had needed to move Mom at that time. The staff was fine, but I didn't have a whole lot of interaction with them. I really only just saw them helping folks get their food or pushing them down the hall in wheelchairs. Everybody seemed polite. I only saw her room for a split second, but the salon was very nice, and the lady did a great job with her hair. I also saw the small dining room that they all ate in.

We had a good tour at Cadence Garner. We couldn't see apartments because all of them were occupied. They had memory care, too. The staff we met was very good. They have a lot of activities, too. However, they have a six months waitin list.

Cadence Garner was affordable. It was clean. The staff was friendly. The rooms were fairly good-sized. It kind of felt like you're in a hotel. The dining area was very nice.

We fell in love with Cadence Garner. It was a beautiful facility. We loved the music. The staff was very nice and I would have chosen that, but they have a waiting list. The rooms were fine. The dining room is very pretty.

Cadence Garner was a good place. The staff was very helpful. They offer everything, the same thing as the other place does. They have a game room, a dining room, a meeting room, and a theater. I also think it's near restaurants, too.

Cadence Garner was very nice, but it was way too expensive. Patients were engaged in activities. It wasn't eating time then, but they had everything posted, the activity schedule for the month, the menus. They showed me some nice rooms, and they were well kept and looked like they'd been tended to. I saw some of the residents engaged, and the staff was very nice and very thorough. The residents seemed happy because some of them spoke as we walked past. Some were more mobile than others, but they were all being attended to. It seemed like they all had what they needed. I was impressed because it just smelled really nice and clean in all the areas, not just the front. It was clean all the way around. The menus looked good.

Cadence Garner felt very homey. It didn't have that institutional smell. They had a couple of essential oil diffusers going, so it had that very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The staff was hugely welcoming and super friendly. The person who gave us the tour was super knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had on the spot. She was just wonderful and very personable. We talked to one of the cooks. They had a set menu, but then they also had options available at any time. There was a little craft class going on that we were able to walk through. They were so engaging with the residents and they were having fun and laughing. They had some great outside areas, which my mom would love. We saw a room that had a little kitchenette in it, a sink, and a large bathroom. The room itself was not as big as I would have wanted it to be, but it was in great shape and it was clean.

Cadence Garner looked great from the outside. We went in and we were greeted by the staff. They had a nice waiting area. The lady walked us through very quickly. My friend didn't like it because it was warmer in there, it was stuffy and the smells were making her feel uncomfortable, almost even a little nauseous. We looked at one room quickly, and it seemed to be the standard room. This was a locked facility. We didn't spend a lot of time there. We went in very quickly, looked around and said, okay, thank you, and left. We looked at one room. It was a little bit smaller than the rest of the rooms, but it was nice and clean. They had a locked courtyard so patients wouldn't wander. The front door was locked as well. You had to be buzzed in, so it was a more secure facility for Alzheimer's and dementia patients.

Our tour experience at Cadence Garner was good. Their caregivers were really caring for the residents and for each other. We just got that home-like feeling. We interacted with the residents that were staying there in memory care and assisted living, and all of them were pleasant. Most of the rooms, you have to bring your own furniture. They have roommates, which feels better in the memory care, because then they have a companion if they need help. We met several of the roommates, too, and they were just like sisters. They act like they're family. The facility was fairly new, so it was very clean. It didn't have a nursing home smell or a hospital. All the residents were clean. The lady I met there was very, very good with information (we had her twice). She was not pushy. She would give you the information and let you choose what's best for your loved one. She's very pleasant. She's reached out even afterwards to see how we were. They have a kitchenette-type in the memory care where they have a chance to do activities together. The menu was posted every day. If they don't like what they for the day, they have certain things that they can get instead. The dining area was clean and nice. They have a confined area outside where they can go out and have lunch. Unless somebody is sick or quarantined, they always eat together at the same time. So, it's sort of like a family atmosphere all the time.
