I moved into Legacy at the Fairways. It's a very good location right next to a golf course, and they keep the grounds in very good shape. We have quite a few different activities like card games, bingo games, word games, dice games, and exercise programs. We also have Watermark University where they encourage you to attend classes. There are chapel services for Catholic people and church services for Protestant people. The apartments are very nice and roomy. The staff here is very helpful. The food is very good. They have a restaurant-style dining room where you order from a menu.

Declining service and food quality over the past year. Continual changes in restaurant staff. Good amenities.

The Legacy at Fairways is a wonderful community. My parents have lived here for about 8 years. Once our nest was empty, my spouse and I decided to join them, and sold our home. Now we also reside in a villa, which is very spacious. In fact, our basement is allowing us ample storage. We have no regrets and enjoy the new friends we have made. We have the opportunity to participate in classes, attend gatherings, and have our meals prepared for us. The front desk staff is especially friendly and helpful. We like it enough to tell others about it!

We went to Legacy at the Fairways. I liked the townhouse. That was very spacious and made me feel like I could easily move there. It was compatible with the space that we have now for our home. It was open, airy, and not confining. It had a two-car garage and a basement, and those are things that were appealing to us. Meals are not included. The cost of it is a little bit high for us. We still want to talk to the director about some other options there, because it's a little bit above our income level. We only met one lady who gave us the tour, and she provided all the information and was very pleasant, and I liked her a lot. The amenities are there in the main building, and they're all available to people who are renting an apartment. Like the food and activities are available with their rent. For people who are living independently there, those would be extra. Like the meal service and the other activities, there would be a cost for those. I thought the facility was beautiful, very up-to-date, and very pleasant.

I had my mother transfered here a couple of years ago. She loves how clean and bright the facility is. She's able to attend so many functions. This keeps her entertained. The staff is very professional and pleasant to work with. The concierge is very knowledgeable and friendly. Her name is Kristen. She looks over the residents. My mother loves her. The apartments are very modern with everything needed to live there comfortable. I'm looking forward some day in the future to join this community.

The apartments in Legacy at the Fairways seemed a little small to me. They were a little older, so they weren't as large as other facilities I've seen, but they have what they call patio homes that you can live in and those seemed to be a better fit. The people we met were very helpful and very knowledgeable. They had a very nice dining room and a golf community adjacent to it with a pool that the residents could go to and use.

I took a tour at Legacy At Fairview, and they have nice rooms. They had two-bedroom units, and they were spacious. I could take my dog there, and they just look like they were run efficiently. The place was clean, it was pleasant, it was spacious, and they had activities for the seniors. They gave us a free lunch and it was good. The main thing was it was clean.

My wife and I searched the web for a continuing care, or close to that, throughout NY state. In addition we checked out such facilities in Maryland and PA. After four years of careful searching, we found Legacy at Fairways, here in Victor. Our first impression was of the warmth and caring of the manager/sales person, Anna. We then compared these facilities with all the ones we had read about and visited, and the setting, the actual villas, the price (rent not buy) and the "feel" of the place, and we decided right away to go for it, rather than put it off for a few years. Anna was responsive to all the phone calls over the next year while our Villa was being built, and from the moment we moved into, we were astounded at everything about the place. As people moved in around us to all the new Villas, things became more and more like home. I'm sure there is someone here who is not happy; I just haven't met one. What a gift to have found this place!

We visited the Legacy in Victor, New York. I liked their location. The building that we looked at was brand new and never lived in before. It looked very nice, and the staff seemed very friendly. It was a construction site, so it was not the nicest, but the inside of the building was immaculate.

Mom was at Legacy at the Fairways for almost three years. The apartment itself was very nice as was the whole facility, she was very fortunate. It was 2-studio-sized apartments and they opened it up into one so she actually had a rather large apartment there, it was very nice. They did have quite a few social events. They had people come in either singing groups or musical groups to perform for them but there were also trips to parks. I know that the social director was wonderful and really encouraged the residents to get out and do things. That was a real plus. The person who was in charge of the entire place, I felt, did not always follow through on promises made.

We are in a process of moving my parents to Legacy. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s like a luxury hotel. The staff has bent over backwards. They’ve been very helpful, informative and supportive. We’ve heard good things from the people that lived there and professionals working there as well. The food is excellent and the manager even served us because he was down in the staff. I think they really understand what the seniors are looking for and what they’re comfortable with.

My parents moved in to The Legacy three weeks ago and so far so good. They treat them in the facility so well. The great thing about The Legacy is that they offer an independent living lifestyle compare to the other facility that are assisted living type. An independent living lifestyle frees the mature individual from daily concerns and allows them to fully enjoy every day while they look after the details. I noticed also that they have a lot of couples so I'm pretty sure my mom & dad will be in a great place. The Legacy provides a warm and caring environment that empowers freedom of choice and fosters individuality.
