Cloverwood Senior Living's apartments are very upscale. The place is luxurious, beautiful, and well-decorated. They have a common room, a game room, and an eating area. The library that they have there is beautiful. I would go there in a minute if I could. All of that was nice. It's like a classy hotel. My friend lives in Cloverwood. They have an outdoor space, but I only saw it through a window, I didn't go out there.

The person who gave us the tour of Cloverwood Senior Living was knowledgeable. The facility was lovely. The apartments were not as nice as the other place though. It's a beautiful setting, had a nice dining room, and a calendar of activities. They did not have a nurse on-staff 24 hours and that was a big deciding factor for us between Cloverwood and the other place. At the end of the day, they're about the same price and the same kind of amenities.

My mother is in Cloverwood Senior Living. She had a patio home there and she fell. She was in the independent living and now she's in their rehab facility. It's an excellent facility and an excellent campus, and the staff there is wonderful. The food is outstanding. It's a varied menu, the food is just excellent, and the service is excellent. It's a tremendous campus. The whole campus is wonderful. Her patio home was beautiful. They have walking paths and they have all sorts of activities. It's a great place. They have a beautiful indoor pool, exercise classes at various levels depending upon your mobility, live music, a beautiful indoor movie theater, and they have guest speakers that come on all sorts of different topics. It's the best place that we found in the Pittsford area.

My dad and his wife lived in Cloverwood Senior Living. It was really nice. It had two or three different levels of care, and it had a separate building for people that needed following around, so they didn't walk out the doors. It had a dining facility, you could eat in or you could take your meals to your room, and you order them by the meal. It was a typical senior living facility, but it was kind of upscale. They had independent living facilities. They had their own room, and they could go down for meals. They took them shopping. It was full service. They were wonderful, clean, beautiful, well attended, and well staffed. It was a topnotch facility, and it wasn't cheap. The facility was well appointed, the food was excellent, and the staff was excellent. There wasn't anything that I would fault them for. It was well landscaped, the grass was always cut, the driveway was always shoveled, and the walks were shoveled. It was impeccable. If you are looking for something, this would be the top place you could be looking for.

Do NOT bring your loved one to Glenmere Assisted Living and Memory Care! I was promised all sorts of great things when I interviewed and was taken in by their sales pitch. I told them ahead of time my mother was a wanderer with rapidly progressing dementia and they said the Assisted Living area could accommodate her condition just fine. They could NOT and less than 6 months later, I had to move my mother into their Memory Care Area. The next day, Glenmere closed their doors to visitation due to the start of the COVID pandemic. Less than 6 weeks later, Glenmere said something was medically wrong with my mother and told me I needed to take her to the emergency room for testing. The hospital took her in and found nothing wrong with her. The hospital called Glenmere the following day to have my mother returned, and Glenmere's response was that they would not take her back - this was on April 22nd of 2020 during the start of the pandemic. There were NO beds available in all of Monroe County at this time because of the pandemic and it took almost a week, and the passing of some poor soul, before a bed in another institution was found for my mother. I had to move her again - not a good thing for a person with dementia. She has deteriorated extremely quickly as a result of these circumstances. If Glenmere had been honest at the beginning, my mother would not have had to go through 3 moves and a week hospital stay. I think what Glenmere did in sending my mother to the hospital knowing full well that they were not going to allow her back was highly unethical. Do not put you or your loved one through what my mother and I were put through. Do NOT go to Glenmere.

We visited Cloverwood. I liked that they were very friendly, but they did not have enough men. There were only five men in the whole place. It was very well maintained and had a good lay out. The apartment was fine.

My experience with Cloverwood was good. I don't think they were as willing to work financially though. However, it was a very beautiful campus. It was pretty new. They have a beautiful exercise room. They had a really elegant dining room. It was very nicely appointed. The apartments were pretty good size. The working attitude of the staff was good. However, it was different than the other two places. They may not have been as quite as enthusiastic, but they were attentive and well-trained and so forth. What stood out to me for this community though was that it was very pleasant, it was sort of an open campus.

I don't know exactly what to say about Cloverwood Senior Living. It's working out nicely for my mother. The care is good and she's adapting well. It's convenient for me to get to her. She has a one-bedroom apartment that's really nice. She's able to have her own furniture from home.

We called it the Cruise Ship because it was like being on a cruise. It was expensive but my Grandparents loved it. It was newly built and they got one of the first units. It was like a nice two bedroom apartment which is all they needed. The staff was nice and the residents were all friends. They called my Grandparents the mayors. The only sad part was having to hear about friends passing. We had my Grandfathers funeral there.
