The people who work there are very dedicated and helpful. Eva , Judi and Jean were instrumental in the entire process of admitting and discharging. Great job ladies!!

My wife had two lengthy stays at Cedar Manor, and we were very pleased with the care she received and the progress she made there. We thought that the facility was bright and pleasant, and the setting overlooking the river is beautiful. We found the administrative team to be genuine, interested in the well-being of each patient, and responsive when issues arose. The doctors and nurses were diligent and caring. The PT and OT staffs were excellent and extremely supportive. My wife and I also appreciated the dietician's efforts to accommodate my wife's restrictive diet. Lastly, the recreation team made every effort to provide activities for the patients. Based on our experience, we appreciate and recommend Cedar Manor.

Lack of compassion, no communication to families, zero activities, services not met, inattentive staff.

It is a pleasure to write a review for Cedar Manor. My mother-in-law spent some time in the rehab center and the care that she was given by the PT and OT was exceptional. The staff was caring and listened to her needs. The food was very good. They even had choices if the patients wanted something different.

My mother is at Cedar Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. I don't have a lot of experience with places like that, but I think they are doing a very good job of assisting and helping my mother recover. They seem to be very well-staffed and there is always a staff member readily available to speak to or to have a question answered, so I did like that. I just get a general feeling of caring there from everyone I interacted with. It seems to be that they do care about their work and they care about their patients. My mom indicates to me that the food's fine, comes hot, and comes on time. She seems to be pretty pleased with it. It is an older building. It probably could use a little updating. The rooms are a little small, so you don't get a whole lot of privacy because they generally have two beds in a room. If you wanted to speak privately to your mom, really the other person can hear everything. There are not a lot of areas to go for privacy. That would probably be the only thing I would think of that is concerning. The staff is good. The facility is nice. They have a nice rehabilitation room or workout area. They have plenty of staff helping their patients.

My mother was only at Cedar Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a little bit. Her roommate was very helpful. She was watching out for her. I think she was a pediatric nurse. It's tough being in there. There were old people there, but they had young patients in there, too, that were injured. It's like a rehab place. They had a common area with a garden outside in the center. She's in a shared room. They usually gave her a soft diet, three meals, but she didn't want to eat much. It's a good structure. They had an activity room and somebody came in to volunteer one time. We were on a restricted time there with the COVID precautions. Nobody was gonna take her because she had dementia, but they took her there.
