My grandmother in law, as well as my family friends mother stayed at this facility- one 4 years ago, and the other this year. What an improvement those years make! While the facility was always nice- now it is great! I was blown away by the staff and how much they care, the facility is also aesthetically pleasing. The social workers took the time to explain everything that we as family members needed, as did the nurses, therapists and other staff. Once they found out my grandmother in law loved to knit, they started a knitting club for her! If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond for it's residents this is it!

Amy in reception is less than pleasant. The next time someone calls to inquire about a potential facility for a family member, don't cut them off because you think you know what they're going to say.

My mom was a patient in the rehab July 2021 till Aug 2021 absolutely horrible I don’t know how this place stays open! My mom was left to dehydrate on 2 occasions I was told I couldn’t call an ambulance when they wouldn’t help her, left in soiled diapers she’d call me crying no one picked up phone in south wing when I called, iv was placed in her stomach I was told when I asked they place it there when can’t find a vein they didn’t even try I was present! A CNA removed a mole off of my moms body! Left with no spoon to eat few times or no water, the vascular surgeon they use did a angioplasty she passed away 10 days later they twist things and cover up things social workers are zero help very unprofessional. Someone needs to speak for these elderly patients I would of pulled my mom out I was trying to get her care at home! I was 5 mins from work and 7 from home, on my last stage of having her a health aide they tell me she needed surgery she died 10 days later! Do Not trust your loved ones at this facility! Imagine the people that can’t speak or have families to speak for them

My stepfather and other family members have been in this facility for over two years now. I love to visit because this facility has a very home like welcoming vibe to it. Of course, with Covid, our visitation has been affected. But the staff has been incredible about keeping us updated, and allowing us to see our family through other safer means. Safety is always put first! The rooms are clean and spacious! They have nice views of the courtyard with a coy pond, mini fountain, and lots of room to enjoy this beautiful weather!

My mother has stayed in this facility twice now, and I have nothing but positive things to stay. Every single person cared for her from her therapists, to nursing staff to activities and dietary. By the end of both of her stays, she viewed the staff as family. My mother is not always the most outgoing person, but staff encouraged her to get out of her comfort zone and go meet new people and go to activities. By the end she left not only able to walk, but with friends and a great experience as well!

My Mother-in law was a resident at North Westchester Restorative. The staff went above and beyond. She received physical therapy and made great improvements. I would highly recommend North Westchester!!!

I have had family members staying at this facility and would very highly recommend! They treated my mother in law and father in law amazingly, so much so that our family now wants jobs there. Of course there are always room for improvement, but overall this is a facility that cares from the higher ups to the rest of staff. Just go around and you can see the staff holding patients hands and comforting them. This facility is great with offering extra services (both for health, a hair salon, bakery with free bakes good etc.) It really is a great place!

My husband was in North Westchester. It was very nice and very clean. The people there were all very nice. They had activities, like cards and bingo. I would recommend them to others because they give PT seven days a week.

This place should be closed down. The care is substandard to say the least. My mom waited 3 hours for staff to answer her call bell and then called 911 to get somebody to come to her room. They would make her wait over 2 hours for pain medication. She continued to complain of severe pain in her thigh but they continued to rehab her on a broken, displaced hip despite that. A doctor never even looked at her leg which was 2 inches shorter than the other one. They had an order for a consult with an Orthopedic surgeon the day she was admitted and it was not til 3 weeks later with my family pestering them that she got an appoinrtment and a diagnosis of a fractured and displaced hip.I wouldnt let my worst enemy go there

Think twice before going to this place. The rooms are not renovated as it states in the website. It is old and dingy and smelly. My family member was there for almost 2 months for rehab. On the day of arrival, there was an empty sugar wrapper on the floor, the bed foot board was broken. One bathroom was shared by 4 people. While visiting my family member one night, a mouse came out from behind the night stand. On more than 2 occasions there was no heat in the room. And lastly, the food was terrible and cold. However, with that said, the PT people were very nice as well as some of the Aides. Although when you needed one, they were not quick to come to the room.
