I just want to thank you for taking care of my mom for the past 4 months. The staff have been so caring and compassionate towards her and treated her like their own. Mom has made so many friends and loves to attend the daily activities. Facility is in the process of remodeling and place is looking really nice. Thanks again Parkview for giving me a piece of mind when i leave mom!

Do not bring your loved ones here. I have been informed by a resident that The staff does not care about the people living here. They failed to call an ambulance when needed. One resident could have died. They do not accurately record Doctors appointments and have failed to provide aids to accompany the residents to the Doctor causing them to miss important appointments for their health. the aids have failed to provide medicine on time to prevent people from being in pain. They also let residents sit in dirty diapers for hours, and forget to provide meals. Residents are not provided healthy meals and do not have a way to get exercise or have a healthy lifestyle. Now many residents have COVID.

I wouldn’t even give this facility one star. Absolutely terrible. No patient and staff communication. Overcrowded understaffed. Smells terrible . As soon as I can get mother in law out of this facility I will: just waiting on her PRI that I’ve asked for multiple times . My MIL has declined in every way possible since being here. She is left alone in re room all day no TV no water

I have been at parkview care and Rehab center for 10 months now. I cannot thanks the staff enough for all they have done/ continue to do for me. From the start my experience at parkview has been nothing but pleasant and a positive experience. The nursing and rehab staff have really done an amazing job helping me return to my prior function. The place is cleanand the food is great. I am going to miss my parkview family once I leave.

I have been a resident in this facility for 17 years now. I am the president of resident council. I take pride in this facility and all the hard working employees in it. With being an amputee the rehab and nursing team never fails me. My nurses Farah, Tiffany, and Barbara are amazing. The rehab team is exceptional. The recreation department runs great activities daily that entertains both younger and older adults and to top it off my favorite part of each day is meal time! Keep up the great work Parkview!

I can't thank Parkview Care Rehabilitation Center enough. All the special attention from the nurses the care was diligent, timely, efficient, and sincere. All very professional. Senior staff, social workers also rose to the occasion in the highest esteem. They took care of me when I could not take care of myself and looked out for my well-being. I was able to rest and concentrate on my recovery because they thought of everything. Really enjoyed working with the physical therapists. They were key and instrumental to my Rehabilitation after a very long intensive full back surgery. Their knowledge and patience enabled me to further progress everyday. And my room the hallways the entire place was constantly being clean I've never seen such a clean facility in my life. All my needs were met what more is there to say and without me asking I was taking care of like a hotel guest . And I really enjoyed having nutritionist work with my needs being on a special diet and allergic to some foods. Everybody was just so nice. I laughed and I even had fun even in a wheelchair. I even made some friends. I am walking and stronger thanks to their therapy and Ultimate Care from Parkview.

It's very unfortunate that my Aunt does not have financial means; however, NO ONE deserves to be treated in such a poor manner. Does this facility have any concept about treating the residents with care & dignity? How can they look themselves in the mirror? Its this place only in business to make money off of medicare & medicaid cause they are certainly not using the funds towards resident care. How can the staff stand the smell of urine? How about they toilet the residents who can be & change the adult diapers on those that can't - novel idea!!! Please do not consider placing even your dying dog here; its a heartless dump

If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently had my father brought here for rehab. I should have done more research before sending him here. Upon entering the facility I was overwhelmed with the smell of urine and the temperature of the place was boiling hot. He was in a room with 3 other patients...one of them kept turning off the air conditioning. The water they gave him had black particles in it and when I asked to refill it...the staff pointed to a large cooler in the hallway. The nurses who came in to speak with us were very friendly so theres a star for them...but we had to remove him from this facility the very same evening. It's very depressing here. There were patients parked in the hallway in wheelchairs or beds. No interaction between staff and patients. I really felt sorry for the people in there. Please do your research and choose a different facility. If you have a loved one in this facility...please get them out.

My father is already situated in a facility. He's in Long Island, and the name is Parkview Care & Rehab Center. My mother decided to choose this facility. The people were OK. It has typical nursing facility rooms where there are two people in the room. He's got a dresser and a bed. It is an average room. Not much stood out about the place. I was more concerned about his advanced Alzheimer's and almost dying. That thing was on my mind and not Parkview. There wasn't much. It was kind of a low end facility from what I'm seeing. I don't have a lot to compare it to though. I would say that the staff could be a little more attentive to my father. There are certain things they need to know about my father that I would expect them to know like the medical perspective and the rehabilitation perspective.

The place is dirty and the staff members seem annoyed when you ask questions.

I had the unfortunate experience of Parkview Care & Rehabilitation Facility in Massapequa, NY. This facility is "old, shabby" looking and the staff is not so pleasant. The Administration is not so caring. The NYS DOH guidelines speak for itself. Research your nursing facility before you admit a loved one! This facility is a Nursing Home rather than a rehab facility.
