I do not recommend short term rehab in this respiratory care unit. Communication between staff, shifts, and caregivers was awful. My father did not receive appropriate care to satisfy his oxygen needs.

Staff treated my father with disrespect. Communication between teams, shifts, disciplines was terrible. His oxygen needs were not met. Do not select this respiratory/ rehab facility for your loved one.

Rooms were OK and clean. Some staff better than others. Ring the call bell and you maybe waiting for awhile. Mom liked the food. Business office caused more harm than good. After attempting to change over to traditional Medicare (which Tammy K. did not followup with to ensure the request went through) my mom was told she was now not covered and had to leave in less than 36 hours. Tammy has no compassion for family's and her advise or suggestions should be questioned. Working in the business office doesn't mean you don't have to care ! Our seniors deserve better and so do their families.

My uncle was there for two weeks. Yesterday he was unceremoniously kicked due to insurance issues. I seriously fear for his health and the health of the elderly relative to whose house he was sent. No aide, no follow-up medical assistance, no nothing. There is something wrong when I receive a voicemail requesting a credit card to pay for his continued stay couple hours before he is kicked out. Not treatment you want your loved one to experience.

My loved one passed away 3 days after being discharged from this facility after a family request to be evaluated in an ER. We were told by nurse manager on rehab, “there is no reason he needs to leave here, we can take care of him. He is not in excessive pain.” He was admitted to ICU within an hour for pain control and severe dehydration. Shame on you Meadowbrook Care Center-

I like Meadowbrook Care Center, but they have a six-month waitlist. From the outside, it looked very new and elegant, and once you walk in, it's extremely clean. It just looks very elegant, almost hotel-like. It feels almost luxurious. The person giving me the tour was very nice and informative. I saw two of the long-care floors, their dining room, their activity areas, and one of the rooms. I was given information about laundry and like add-on if my mom wanted to get her hair done or anything. If I were able to take her out of the facility, and if I wanted to spend a day outside with her, I was given some information about those, too. I was given a business card in case I had any more questions. I saw some of the patients sitting in the dining room waiting for their food, but I didn't see anything like crazy or anything.

My mom was at Meadowbroook for 9 weeks for rehab. She was on the 2nd floor (2A). Rooms were newly renovated, beautiful and spacious. My mom said the food was good. The staff on 2A were for the most part wonderful. The only complaint I have is when they set up the tv's, they should've had the speaker in the remote part instead of the volume coming from the actual tv. It was hard to watch something if your roommate was watching something else. Other than that, I would highly recommend this facility.

Meadowbrook Care Center has literally been life saving for my family. The staff there has been absolutely wonderful to my father who has dementia and was admitted into their rehab facility after a nasty fall. The staff here are so kind, compassionate, and caring towards him, even if he doesn't always return the favor. They always inform us on what is going on, take him to the social events, make sure he is well bathed and nourished, and are so patient with him. One of us visit almost every day and we are always greeted with welcoming smiles. He has adjusted so well over the course of the last two months that we have decided to place him in long term care there. His safety, comfort, and well being are what is most important to us, and we completely trust Meadowbrook to take care of him for the rest of his days.

My husband is an unfortunate victim of dementia and he lost his balance and broke his hipAfter his hospitalization he was taken to the Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Center in Freeport. He was frightened and in pain. The team who took care of him have been empathetic to both of us. The nurse Anne Marie and her team have been supportive keeping me abreast of my husband's situation. Winnie, his caregiver is gentle and thoughtfully kind. The 2 nurses Sonny and Maxwell patiently endure the trial of giving him his medicines. When approached for help the director Robert Nemeth was thoughtful when addressing my concerns and followed up in a timely manner. Mary F. Eisenstein Guidance Counselor (Retired)

My family and I had exceptional support from Daniel while our Dad was at Meadowbrook Care Center. He encouraged him and made a great connection helping my dad. We are appreciative of the entre Meadowbrook team for their efforts. We want to express our deepest thanks for the extra care they provided our father. In difficult times with loved ones, it's very comforting to meet people who want like the Meadowbrook staff.

Our mother has been in five different rehabs over the years and Meadowbrook Care Center is one of the best rehabs in Nassau County. Mom was on Unit 2A and we cannot say enough about the outstanding leadership by Unit Manager Nurses- Ms. Dolor, Ms Ogunyele, and Ms. Laurent. From the Unit Managers, the Unit Clerk to the LPNs & PCAs, they all truly cared not only for the patient but also for the families. Dr. Jaglall and NP Patel provided excellent medical attention and approaches to deal with our mother’s medical problems. Physical Therapist, Kerry O., is amazing! Alex,OT, provided great service. Mrs. Goldberg, Director of Social Work, approached the discussion of DNR with great sensitivity when speaking with us. Ivy and the rest of the Recreation Dept. provided wonderful social activities to minimize feeling lonely or bored and were so passionate about the fun activities they offered. Carlos, in Housekeeping, gave his personal cell phone # if you had any needs. The facility is spotless and is very bright! Leah who transports the patients to OT or PT always had a smile for you. Courtney, the security guard, takes her job seriously and is very helpful as is Sabrina. Kathy, mom’s nutritionist, was attentive and addressed any dietary concerns. The food is very tasty and plentiful. We wish in the future Catholic services could resume along with the center’s movie channel equipment getting updated and robo calls going out if visitation gets suspended. There is no perfect institution but Meadowbrook Care Center certainly is close because of the caring and dedicated staff!

My Mother is a patient in the Meadowbrook Care Center on her own accord she had gone in for therapy many times and decided to stay instead of going back to her apartment. Pre Covid there were plenty of activities to keep my mother busy and she participated and enjoyed very much. During this past year the staff did their best to keep the patients individually entertained. I must give a big shoot out to Tammy from the Recreation Center, she has been a God sent to us, face timing with the family and giving my mother things to keep her busy, arts and crafts, music, she paints her nails she is Wonderful Also Odanys is the perfect concierge he keeps my mother such great company he even sent me a picture when the weather was nicer of him on the rooftop having a dinner date with my mom. He sends me photos and even put one of himself and her on her wall. He does not think of this as a job, I know he really and truly cares for my mom. He and Tammy go way above and beyond. Michael the Head Nurse supervisor during the day is also wonderful, I feel I can call him with any questions I have or ask him to check in on my mother when she is not feeling well, he always responds to me, he calls her doctor right away when he feels he should most of all he takes the time out to listen and we have a great rapport. Paul is also wonderful, my mother was upset one day and she said he came in to ask her what was the matter, she had lost my sons police medal and Paul helped her search high and low, as did everyone, and told her a joke and showed her some pictures of his family to make her feel better. He even gave her a cold thermos with a straw when she wasn’t drinking enough water and fills it for her when ever he is around. My mother and her aide Camille, love to joke about my mother having a crush on Paul,, no wonder she always says, I really like it here we have a lot of laughs. Lydia who is also from recreations is wonderful as well she is not on my mom’s unit but stops by to see her as well as DeShawn also from the Recreation department, my mother and him would always kid at Bingo he also is such a caring person who does not think of his position as a job, he even played Santa and Ran from room to room yelling HoHoHo, he really got the patients in the Spirit, he does not work on my mothers unit anymore but when I was allowed to visit he would always come over and chat with us in the hall. Evette is a Great Head Nurse Supervisor, who always has to make the call when someone is ill or hurt, she talks so nice and softly and really takes the time to explain everything, she makes sure to know her patients well. I can’t forget about the Physical Therapy Department, especially Eric, Scott and I'm so mad I can't remember his name , but he is also from Therapy and another “Boyfriend” of my mothers. The Security Staff is also wonderful!! I don’t know all the names but they know me when I call and are always ready to help in anyway they can. My mother has been in and out over 10 years and I can remember pleasant experiences on each floor, Daniel, who is now a nurse, on the first floor, he was wonderful with my mother when she was in for a broken hip, his parents even came to visit my mother and brought her the cereal Daniel knew she liked and a stuffed Mickey Mouse. Jonathan should be proud of his staff and himself he has made some very good changes since he began, summer Barbecues where all the staff serves the residents and their families, summer outings, Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners, outings to the movies and I always see him as does my Mom walking around chatting with the patients. I must say I really miss of course being able to visit my mom,but also visiting the place and the Wonderful Staff!! Imagine not being able to see your mother or give her a hug or her you for over a year! It makes me feel thankful for all for the Loving Care you have and continue to give my Mother!! Hopefully this nightmare will end soon!!!!

I am my Mother’s health care proxy. She was a true success story. Some of it was her age. 78 as of 2020. Some of it was definitely her determination. And I attribute a lot of it to MCC. Details of her illness would take too long but in brief (after almost 2 months in two different hospitals) she arrived at MCC ventilator dependent, foley catheter, PICC line and some other serious health issues. She had essentially not moved in over 60 days. Her Dr was true to his word from day one, calling me back, monitoring my Mother’s health and pushing her at times, which she needed. There were other all stars that went above and beyond. My Mother left MCC free of the Ventilator and not even needing oxygen. Respiratory was instrumental. A great deal of thanks. My Mother, upon leaving, is able to use a walker and get around her house. She will still require a great deal of PT post discharge but she went from immobile to the aforementioned. I attribute a lot of that to the PT department. People that give both physically and emotionally. My Mother thrives on connection and some Staff members provided both. I had a very positive experience with the Social workers, who addressed every issue I raised and always called me back. As well as Recreations. I would love to give MCC an Excellent review but I have to honor what transpired. My Mother landed there in the middle of the second wave of Covid-19. So visiting was almost nil. When we did visit everything consistently ran 30 to 40 minutes behind schedule. So if you’re fortunate enough to visit your loved one make sure to allow for that extra time. You won’t be squeezing it in on your lunch hour. And like all facilities there are some bad apples. In particular my mother had a bad experience with some night Aides. Now let me say most were wonderful. Some, true gems. Doing what we'd call the "Lord's work" But a few things happened with other Aides) that was absolutely unacceptable. But this is the real world and people don’t always love their job or are just overworked. I was an advocate for my Mother but also tried not to interfere until necessary. I tried to be a team member not a fault finder until need be. Staying on top of her needs while letting the professionals do their jobs. Again, I’m lucky. My Mom is stoic and didn’t complain much. I saw other parents there that complained to their children and I don’t know if that’s a function of their personality or legitimate. But my heart went out to them. It’s all about finding the balance I suppose. This is all new to me as my Mother has been independent and super healthy her entire life. It’s a very delicate situation for all of us. I wish you and your loved ones the best.

My Mom has been a resident at Meadowbrook since September 2019. The care she has been given has been outstanding. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Rehabilitation gym is spacious with lots of equipment. It's always fun to take her to the in-house ice-cream parlor and get her a vanilla ice-cream cup. The library is also a favorite place. Admitting a loved one into a nursing home is stressful and the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Since day one everyone at Meadowbrook was there to support me as well as ensure Mom's comfort, happiness and safety. The entire staff treats you like family and I do hope that they know how much they are appreciated. Choosing Meadowbrook was definitely the right decision.

I'd like to take this time to share a few words of reflection and thanks for the excellent care provided to my Mother at Meadowbrook. My Mother came to Meadowbrook at a time when she needed extra help with care. As her needs increased, the supervisor, Michael (Mike), and his staff were very attentive, compassionate, and always seemed to have a sense of humor. My wife and I are grateful to Mike and the entire staff and healthcare providers who are there for her.

My father was admitted to Meadowbrook after a terrible 28 days in the ICU. Due to Covid we have been unable to be with him as he recovers from a bad fall and stroke. We haven't been able to get to know the staff since we aren't there but his therapists Keith and Andrea have been wonderful. He's not an easy patient, very stubborn and in pretty bad shape. But he took his first steps in over 2.5 months today with their support, patience and persistence. We can't thank them enough. My dad is lucky to have them in his corner.

I visited the facility and was expecting much more than what I encountered. It has been refurbished since it use to be a hospital but I did not see it. Im sure the care is excellent for short term care but not for long term. My Mom has dementia and I was quoted $13.5k month for long term care. PS there is minimum parking for visitors.

Due to a fractured femur I had to go to rehab and had to learn how to walk again. I was there for 3 weeks. The team in the rehabilitation center were absolutely amazing. Scott Schwartz was my therapist and really cared about me and getting me to walk again. I am a slacker and like to take the easy way out when I can. Besides caring, Scott gave tough love. If I thought he wasn't looking I would say I did all of the exercises. I swear he had eyes in the back of his head, because he knew I hadn't. It was all for my health benefit that he pushed me. He really cared about all his patients. I felt the therapy I got there was the best. Not only was Scott a great therapist but the whole team was, and they blended together so well helping each other. I am so happy that I was placed in this facility and would recommend it to anyone.

I was a patient at Meadowbrook care center back in 2015 in the summer and was there for almost 2 months. 5/28/15-7/20/15. I wasn't a model patient mind you as I'm a stage 4 lung cancer survivor who came in because I had a staph infection. The facility and its staff treated me nicely even tho honestly a few things I was frustrated about which were the amount of time in the beginning it took for aides to come and attend to me. First what was required was 2 to help and it's hard to get two aides to help as they are all busy helping other patients. This facility has some temporary residents and some who are permanently there others come back and forth because of medical problems. I couldn't walk when I got there so physical therapy help where tgst was concerned. Particularly one gentleman named Scott worked me pretty hard. We do PT & OT Mon- Fri & so,e on Saturday. I had other things going on beause of having fallen out of bed a Mercy hospital in Rockville Center as a bruise foot that took time to heal about 10 weeks as I was there. I even had an appendicitis on 7/9 and had to return to Mercy also I was anemic prior to that and returned again to get to units of blood which took 10 hrs so the doctors and nurses plus all the staff where very attentive. I give thanks to this facility for teaching me to walk again, I left on 7/20/15 after I got off antibiotics on 7/18/15 and was on them thevwho time there and at Mercy. I decided I wanted to give back soon after bad now am a volunteer there working 2x a week on mondays and Thursday nights helping residents with bingo and eveb met my room mate which honestly she was a bit of a pain ha ha but I made it through. As a cancer patient Memorial Sloan Kettering is my hospital and I continue to get MRI, Pet scans and Cat scans routinely. The food at Meadowbrook was fine but I find that folks are picky and I knew I'd only be there for a short time. I owe great gratitude to Meadowbrook and showed that to them on my last day there treated them.....the therapists to lunch and my floor to donuts. I then moved on to out patient therapy two days later in Seaford where I live. I worked out with a cane now no cane at all tho I still have issues with my knee joints becof the steroids I took. Thank you to all the good folks there. They will not be forgotten.

I was a patient at Meadowbrook Care Center in February, 2015. I was receiving rehab for a knee replacement. I have only good things to say about this facility. The Physical Therapist's were very caring and knowledgeable. I actually had fun when I went! My particular therapist, Scott Schwartz, was very interested in doing anything he could to make my rehab as good an experience as possible. He pushed when he knew I could do it and didn't let me give up. I was very happy working on my rehab with him! The other Physical Therapist were equally attentive to getting their patients well. If I ever need rehab again, this is my first choice! Top notch people and care!!

My mother was in Meadowbrook, but mom always have a problem with the aides. One of the aides was actually very nasty, and she actually took a pillow and slammed it down on my mother’s foot, while I was standing there because my mother reported that to me, and I reported her to the staff. They made it sound like everybody in there was good and they didn’t listen to my plea about the person that was abusing my mother. I had to report the lady twice before they took her out of the room with my mother. They need training constantly and needed to be watch. However, the food was good, and the physical therapy was a good department even though they didn’t help my mother walk. They had a lot of entertainments for the residents. They have a coffee shop that was really good and friendly people in there. They have a lot of recreation; I love their program. They have excellent respiratory -- really caring and loving.

My family and I sent my grandmother here for hospice care. It was probably the best care she received throughout her battle. The staff was extremely compassionate, friendly, and demonstrated a sense of urgency to whatever her needs were. They were extremely careful, gentle, and really provided her with the upmost respect and care she needed towards the end of her life. The facility was clean, modernized, and kept neat. It was such a relief to my family and I knowing she was in good hands.

January 15, 2017
My Mom was a resident since around October of 2015. I had two very critical surgeries myself and decided to have physical therapy at this place. First surgery, I stayed admitted for one month and the second time for another month. I live only 7 minutes away from the facility. I was with my Mom every day for around 7 to 9 hours. I was discharged August 4th. 2016. My Mom’s birthday was August 30Th. Still until August the 11th ready to go to “this” place that I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. I got a phone call to go there at once. My Mom was perfectly okay, despite the fact that she came from another disgraced nursing home where she caught a leg infection. Her legs had to be checked by the medical staff in this new facility every day. I never brought her back to the first nursing home. My Mom was saved by a local hospital which told me that it was a medical negligence. My Mom was always complaining about her legs and her stomach. I NEVER SAW A NURSE OR A STAFF MEMBER CHECKING HER LEGS. FOR ALL THE HOURS THAT I SPENT WITH MY MOM 7 DAYS A WEEK, THE DOCTOR NEVER CAME TO HER ROOM TO CHECK UP ON HER. August the 6th, I went to the nurse station and asked a nurse to give my Mom oxygen for around 15 minutes from that tube coming out the wall. She came and she put the mask on my Mom’s face. 15 minutes later she came back to take the mask off and my Mom was totally okay again. Next afternoon again, around the same time I went back to the nurse station and luckily the same nurse was there and I asked the same thing and everything was okay once again. Just 15 minutes that’s all it took. The third day as I was walking thru the hallway to get to my Mom’s room and that same nurse and I walked toward each other and right away she told me this: Ohhhhhhh the doctor says that no oxygen for your Mom unless her blood pressure goes down to 40. I don’t even know my own blood pressure so I thought it was okay. When I got there on August 11th after they called me and I saw my Mom with the same mask and she couldn’t move anything not even her eyes. I DEMANDED AN AMBULANCE. At the local hospital several nurses and two doctors and I know their names told me that IT WAS A VERY BAD INFECTION IN HER LEGS FROM MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE. My Mom was perfectly okay and in just a matter of hours passed away on August the 12th at 3:20 pm. Days after I wanted questions answered and went back to that place again, now I only got ugly faces looking at me because I was asking questions. NOBODY, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY KNEW anything about an oxygen mask applied to my Mom’s face by this female nurse, nor instructions in the computer, nor a log book, nor cameras showing the nurse walking to my Mom’s room with the oxygen mask. The Administrator herself not only in front of everyone in the hallway in front of strangers and staff told me my Mom’s medical records for everyone to hear. There’s absolutely no evidence about that nurse and the oxygen mask. Only in my iPhone 6 s Plus then now 7 Plus and a video of my Mom that I took with the mask on her face showing the date and time. All the medical staff starting from the Administrator and the male sub administrator, Doctor and Nurse Supervisors: NOBODY APPLIED AN OXYGEN MASK TO MY MOM’S FACE. Thank God for the Technology these days. They still denied it right to my face.

My friend's Mom was a resident of the facility. Yes, the place is very clean. What I have witnessed is that some of the staff can be rude to the residents. If the patient needs help and rings the bell; if the aid assigned to the patient is on break or lunch, the patient must wait until the break or lunch is over to get help. My friend's Mom was supposed to get her legs checked daily. Her legs were not checked. She also needed oxygen and the facility physician told the aid to only administer oxygen if her blood pressure drops below 40. She was also supposed to have frequent blood work which she didn't get. I believe that my friend's Mom needed help and no one answered her call. She was rushed unconscious to Nassau Communities Hospital, She never regained consciousness and passed away in one day.

My mothers has been a resident at the Meadowbrook going on 6 yrs. She is getting the best care possible. She is 101 years young. If she would have stayed at the other facility I do not think she would be here today. At the Meadowbrook she is getting the very best of care. I would not hesitate to recommend the Meadowbrook to any one looking for that extra helping hand.

We're all set. My mother is now in Meadowbrook Care Center. We opted for this nursing home because of the location and because of the recommendations we received for it. The place is clean. Its location is convenient for us. The staff is helpful. They made the transition from rehab to long-term care very easy for me. They are doing what they're supposed to be doing. My mom is in a shared room. It is clean and spacious enough. Her bed is positioned low so that I don't have to worry about my mother falling out of bed. They do have activities like bingo, etc. but my mother doesn't really participate in much. They also have a patio upstairs where they could bring their patients outside and get fresh air.

My father was admitted to Meadowbrook for a respitory disorder, He was there for physical therapy and to be weened off of a vent. What I experience was not positive. From day one when I approached the attending physician with questions he was defensive and combative and told me if I did not like the treatment my father was getting I could look somewhere else. That was even before he explained what course of action would be taken to help. My father was unnecessarily sedated and tied to his bed after I was told that he tried to get up. I was also told that the reason for the meds was he was depressed and had beginning stages of alzheimers-- neither which was true. On many occassions a nurse or aid was called to assist with my father, but to no avail. I was even lied to by the attending when we set up a meeting to discuss my father's progress only to find out the Dr. was on vacation the day we scheduled the meeting. My options were limited due to my father's condition. I would not recommend this facility to anyone whose loved one cannot be monitored constantly by their family or friends or fend for themselves on a temporary basis.

Meadowbrook is a relatively small and new nursing home. It's excellent and very good. The nursing home looks very clean. The food was served very well in their cafeteria or in the room. It was very nice. They had rehabilitation and it was excellent because they push the patients to do the rehab. The staff are very caring.

My relative was admitted to Meadowbrook for short term rehab. I wouldn't put a dog in this center. My relative was degraded, ignored. My relative came to the center utilizing a bedpan or toilet . That was not an option given to her. She was told to urinate in her diaper. The first night she was saturated because no one came in after she buzzed all nite. Another nite she buzzed and when no one came in in a timely fashion she urinated in her diaper and when an aide eventually came in, she was told to finish urinating in her diaper. A bed alarm was put on for what reason I don't know and it was set off by her moving around in the bed. No one came to turn off the alarm or check on her for 20 min. We left the room so I don't know when anyone showed up to silence the alarm. There was never anyone at the nurses station. All you saw was staff members on their phones in the lobby area. Oh, I almost forgot. When she was admitted , the prior residents clothing, bedpan and toiletries were still in the room. Nothing was cleaned. Should have known then what our experience was going to be like. I do not recommend this center at all

My experience with the Meadowbrook Care Center was very positive. My father was in the end stages of cancer and he was admitted to the hospice area of the facility. The first thing I noticed about the center was that the patients looked happy and well taken care of. The second thing I noticed was that the facility was very clean. The staff could not have been nicer. They went above and beyond their duties to my father. I could call anytime of day or night and was always able to speak to a nurse on my fathers floor. The nurses and staff did not leave my father unattended at all. Even overnight a nurse slept in his room in case he woke up. Not only did they attend to my dads every need, they also took the time to answer any and every question my mom or I had. They truly made the last weeks of his life better for him, as well as the rest of my family. I would highly recommend Meadowbrook Care Center to anybody needing the services of a nursing home in the Nassau County area.

My dad suffered from severe Alz and was also handicapped from arthritus, which added to the complexity of managing him. We removed him from one facility after a week and moved him to Meadowbrook Care. They were marvelous. The place was immaculate, everyone is dressed and clean. Employees were professional and courteous and most understanding of the conditions we were dealing with. They put dad in mild rehab sessions which we could observe. There was weekly entertainment and a comfortable setting for meals. We tried to be there daily but felt he was always being watched when we left or could not make it.

My grandmother moved here in June '11 to receive long-term care. The facility is beautifully designed and spotless. There is no "nursing home" smell and there are lots of pleasant, sunny alcoves where residents can sit with their family members. There is an ice cream parlor where residents get complimentary ice cream, a gift shop, and a library (with large-print books)! My grandmother loves all of these perks -- they definitely make being in a nursing home a little less scary. She also really appreciates the physical/occupational therapy department. She likes the daily attention they give to her condition (a broken ankle that caused loss of walking ability). The therapy room is attractive and she enjoys going there. When I visited recently, one of the occupational therapists struck up a conversation with my grandmother in the hallway; it showed that she really cared. The head nurses give my grandmother quality care and answer all of her questions. The cons: Like all other nursing homes, there is a lot of red tape here. If you want to get something done, it's not always easy. My grandmother often has a lot of trouble getting a nurse or CNA to assist her in her room. Sometimes I have to call the nurse's station from home and urge them to assist her with bathroom needs, etc. It seems like the residents whose families make the most noise are the most cared for. If I could change one thing about this place, it would be the attitudes of the CNAs. Many are sweet and attentive, but others often refuse to help with everyday tasks unless practically forced. One time I called the nurse's station to request that someone be sent to my grandmother's room (she had called me), and one of the CNAs flat-out lied and said that my grandma had been dressed and washed for the day. But my grandmother said she was still in bed in her nightgown! Eventually, someone came and helped her get ready. This was on a weekend, when the staff is significantly smaller... I wish they had a larger staff! But really, these issues are downsides of any nursing home (unfortunately), not just this one. All in all, Meadowbrook is a really nice place and is as homey as possible given the circumstances. I would definitely recommend it.
