Bristol Village, Inc. is a great place. The staff and services are awesome. My mother's room is very spacious and very clean, and they keep it very nice and up-to-date. She enjoys the food. It's expensive, but she enjoys it there.

We visited Bristol Village and my mother likes it there. We're on a waiting list. I like it because it's nice and bright. It's cheerful, and it's very open. It's very airy and very clean. The staff all seemed very pleasant and very good. Even the ones that we didn't even really talk to, we'd just seen them, and they were smiling. They're good with the residents there. Everything seemed pretty good there, so we liked it compared to other places that we've been. It's set up well. It's got some good things there.

Bristol Village, Inc. is the one that my mother-in-law picked. Everything is on one level, so my mother-in-law doesn't have to take the stairs and it's convenient for her to get to the food locations and where activities will be occurring. The people there were very active. She saw a lot of people walking around, sitting in the lounge areas, reading and talking and socializing, and she liked that atmosphere as opposed to some of the others. We worked with Kathleen, and she has been very responsive. Whenever we have questions, she responds on the same day. She was also very good at paying attention to my mother-in-law and addressing her questions and needs during the tour. They provide three meals a day, and they have snacks out 24/7. If they need some type of beverage, coffee, or snack, they can go and get that, too. They have a lot of outdoor greenspace and pathways where you can walk and go and sit outside. They have a gazebo that overlooks the pond. They have a very nice, relaxing atmosphere outside as well as inside. They do a lot of activities. When you sign up for a room, you indicate what type of activities you like, so that way if they don't see you participate, they will go to your room and remind you that this activity is going on and that you expressed an interest in it to try to entice them to join the others if they have a tendency to stay in their room. For each apartment, they have little alcoves that they can decorate as well, which made it homier.

We went to visit Bristol Village, Inc. and I like the friendliness and the cleanliness. But for some reason, it didn't seem like it would fit our needs. The people that we met were very nice. I didn't get enough information on a lot of things, and I have used a walker and I thought we would have another kind of transportation to get around. But we walked the whole circumference of it and I got tired, they could have asked me if I wanted a wheelchair or anything. I saw the menu and it looked very delectable, it looked very good to me. Their facilities were great, it just didn't suit our needs because we want a 2-bedroom but they weren't available. They had a salon and they had a recreation room, we saw some people doing activities. They had a great room if you wanted to read a book or something. It's good, it was a very nice place.

I like Bristol Village, Inc. which was more of assisted living. They were wonderful, and they have a very friendly staff. One of the cleaning staff that they had there was immaculate, they were wonderful. I remember her because she was amazing. They had food, and a dining area, an activities area, and a community room. The rooms were very nice. The residents were kind of around and about.

Bristol Village was more local, and it was the place my mother-in-law wanted to go. However, we've been waiting six months, and she's still not close to being next on the list. It's a nice place. They just basically took us on a tour. There was not a lot of information. They were pleasant. It looked sparkling. It looked clean. I mean, we would have had no misgivings about her going there at all. The only person we interacted with was the person who gave us the tour. She was in admissions. She wasn't exactly as forthcoming as the other place. But she was pleasant and took us around and showed us things, and answered our questions.

We looked at Bristol Village. They had two different-sized suites available that are all private, fairly new, and well-kept. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They had activities like bingo, music, and exercise classes. They had outings that they took. They had a van where they would take people out. There was a beautician onsite, and a general practitioner onsite. I dind't try the food. I smelled it, and it's very appetizing. I have dealt with the manager. He's pretty good. I watched a little bit of the staff interacting with some of the residents, and they seem to be pretty good, caring, and helpful. The place was very clean and well-kept.

Pretty ground & kept clean, but all for show. The facility says they can do Memory Care/Assisted with Dementia patients, but appear to be surprised by common dementia patient. Rarely anyone in the hallways & little to nothing going on with the residents/patients. In my opinion, they don't desire patients who aren't super self-sufficient & easy, even though they say they do/can care for them. Staff & Admin can be disrespectful. Things came up "missing " from my loved one's room/residence there. Absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

The tour experience I had at Bristol Village, Inc. in Clarence Center was very positive. The man who gave us the tour was very nice. The living atmosphere was good, it was positive. We liked the place a lot. We liked the surroundings and that it was out in the country. The grounds and the building itself were kept up and newer. The rooms were nice too and the maintenance was excellent. We went through their cafeteria, the dining room, the front room, and the recreation room where they do things. They were all very good.

Great appearance, but, looks can deceive, my friends Mom is bored, depressed and can't stand the food, I experienced a average day with my friend and mother. NOT much going on, food was pretty bad. Staff didn't seem to care. They moved her, and so far much happier with more and better activities.

The Bristol was the one I liked the most. It was the best quality place. The most important thing was how clean it was, making sure the living experience was a good quality, and making sure that the room they were in was a good quality room. The grounds in their facility and the location were beautiful. However, it was a little too far out. It was little bit more expensive than the other ones.

We were very impressed with Bristol Village. We liked the facility, it was lovely, and it seemed an appropriate setting for my mother-in-law. It was an impressive community, so it is high on our list. We only really talked to one person from the staff, and he was very nice. The other personnel we really didn’t interact with, but from the limited viewing we had of it, they looked like friendly and caring people to the residents. The dining room was very lovely, very large, and spacious. I just thought it was well laid-out and appropriate for older individuals. It was a one-floor plan with easy access to the central areas. It sound like it has good programs for the residents to be involved in, so all in all it was an impressive place.

Bristol Village was equally as good as the place we chose for my sister, but the distance for us to travel was a little bit more than what we wanted to do. The rooms were very satisfactory and to our liking. We did like it except for the distance because there were several family members that would pay a visit to the patient, and it was just a little bit too far.

I visited Bristol Village. It’s an awesome place. There were absolutely tons of folks, e.g., visitors, residents, staff, who approached me and volunteered nothing but positive feedback. It is all a one-floor layout, so it would have been perfect for Mom. They had spacious rooms. Everything was neat and clean with wide hallways. They had very spacious and nice facilities. The staff folks were very accommodating. Everybody was answering great questions. The downside to this community was that they had a waiting list.

Bristol Village, Inc is very clean and does not have a bad smell. This place is extremely well kept, and the people are very friendly. We chose it for the general appearance and the staff who was extremely knowledgeable and extremely concerned about my parents' well-being. They have been very receptive. The one thing they could improve on is getting the residents involved in activities. I have eaten there, and the food was good.

I placed my mother in the memory care unit at Bristol Village, Clarence, in February 2015, and I am thrilled with the level of care she is receiving. My first priority as my mother's primary caregiver was to make sure the staff was attentive, caring, positive and patient. In addition to her dementia, my Mom has lost almost all ability to communicate/verbalize. Bristol Village Memory Care's staff....the aides, nurses, activities coordinators, and even the maintenance/cleaning/laundry team are all excellent. I spend a great deal of time in the facility so I get a chance to observe real time. Turnover has been low, so relationships are developed, my Mom's unique needs have been learned and accommodated, and once the transitionary period was over, my Mom is peaceful, happy and anxiety free. It is obvious that she feels safe. The staff seem happy working there, say hello and greet residents and visitors with smiles and often hugs. Everyone in the overall facility from the receptionists, management and dining room staff are equally kind and welcoming. The facility itself is beautiful. Memory care rooms are spacious, each room has it's own bathroom, the common areas are bright, cheery and clean. There are regular activities within Memory Care as well as overall facility activities that Memory Care residents get to participate in including live music performances, BBQs and picnics. Placing your vulnerable parent with dementia in a facility is a scary process. Bristol Village was a great choice for my mother.

I chose Bristol Village because of reputation. I toured all of the facilities, and I thought it is the best one. I looked at about ten places. The rooms are very nice, and the staffs are very friendly and very courteous. The one bed apartment is spacious. They have everything there like crafts, puzzle room, exercise room, and TV rooms. They have everything in there. Bristol is the top one because they have everything that I like. It is a smaller community, it has a separate bedroom, it is on the first floor, and it is clean.

The facility and caregivers are 5 star. Wonderful place for my mom. It is like a resort...so clean, and staff so caring. Can't say enough good things about it.

I really had no problems with this facility. During my grandparents approximately year long stay there, they were treated with respect, and the staff members were extremely courteous and friendly. I liked how they had a big bird cage in the lobby of the village, where the reception desk was; on many occasions I noticed residents watching them and they seemed to be pretty well entertained. The rooms were very nice, they had ample room for what my grandparents required, and although I did not eat at bristol I was told that the food was adequate. I also very much liked how they had several conference rooms, or lounges where families could congregate to have dinner together, or just meet to be together. It was difficult to take mom and pop out of the facility in their frail condition, but it was easy and nice to visit them all together. As a grandchild, I never had to deal with any of the finances, but I never remember my parents talking about how expensive it was either (even though it may have been). Overall, I was happy that my grandparents were treated with respect in their final years, and were able to ease into the next phase of their lives gracefully.

Our Mom lived at Bristol Village for over 5 years befor she died of cancer. She started living on the assisted living side, then ended her stay in the "Memory" section because of her alzeihmers's disease. We feel so "eternally grateful" to all the staff and administration at Bristol Village, in Clarence Center. They not only cared for our mother, but also made "Our Mom, their Mom."....That is a rareity these days. They made sure she was cared for in "every" way....living with "dignity" and "love" at all times. She was always kept clean personally and her apartment was always "spotless" and smelling "fresh." Her dinning choices were always tastety..(as we joined her often.) She was always involved in many functions while living there. ( This kept her mind as "sharp" as can be.) We never worried about Mom being mistreated or ignored. Even Mom admitted she liked living there. If anyone is looking for an assisted living center with a memory care unit as a second step (if needed), this is the place. I would like to take this moment to "Thank the Lord" for his direction to this place.
