Elderwood Village at Williamsville was excellent in every capacity. They had many activities. They started the day with stretch and go. They had all kinds of card games and bingo. They had walking tours. They had entertainment of all kinds at least once a week with bands coming in, singers, and performers of many kinds. I was able to try their food. On the day that my sister was admitted, we were treated to lunch. The food was excellent. I had no complaint.

Elderwood Village at Williamsville is clean. The people working there are nice. The residents are nice. It's really expensive. The menu looks wonderful. They had a pool table, a game room, and a garden where you could do gardening if you wanted.

Elderwood Village at Williamsville was satisfactory. It was a clean and friendly place. The woman that did the tour was excellent. She was very accommodating, very friendly, and seemed to be very caring. I saw a 1-bedroom and an efficiency. I liked that there was a little kitchen in both of them.

We toured Elderwood Village at Williamsville. I like everything about it, I'd go there tomorrow, but we're waiting for a 2-bedroom to be available. I like this community a lot. They have a 1-bedroom with a sitting room, I was thinking of even using the sitting room as a second bedroom, but I don't think we want to be in that small space, the two of us. They had a salon, an activities room, a very nice patio garden, and outside facilities for the summer or warmer weather. It was a nice place and I like the convenience, but I need a 2-bedroom.

Elderwood Village at Williamsville was very nice. We toured the two-bedroom apartment and the layout of it was nice, except that it's on the third floor. We walked through the dining room and then we had to take an elevator to get to that two-bedroom apartment. It's carpeted and they had a really lovely courtyard. They had live entertainment, so that was nice, and it's located in the heart of Williamsville. So, it's a nice and very well groomed area. The staff was very friendly. The facility was older, but it was well-kept.

My mom is staying at Elderwood Village at Williamsville assisted living. I think the price is just way too high over there. I take the stairs because I don't use the elevator, and it seems like nobody mops or cleans the stairs. For what my mother pays, that place should be spotless and the care should be better than it is. This is why I'm trying to get her out of there. I don't think the food is that great there, either. The staff varies, there are some nice ones and there are ones that aren't so nice to my mother. This is just going by what she says, but my mother is also very difficult so it could be that she's hard to handle at times that's why they probably get a little agitated. They shouldn't be though because that's their job. They're supposed to be able to handle people like that. They don't vacuum, and they don't dust. I don't even know what they do, because when I go there, I do some of the vacuuming and dusting for her. They wash the floors and she gets her laundry done but they don't put it away, I put it away for her. I think they need brand-new rugs there too. They have a lot of different amenities, but my mother doesn't do a lot. She kind of just stays in her room and doesn't mingle that much. They have a big turnover there too, with people, all the time. There have been 3 administrators since my mother's been there. When I call them, they always address my problems, so they're pretty good about that. They have all kinds of stuff, but my mother doesn't do anything. They have people coming in to play music and different things like that.

What I like best about Elderwood Village at Williamsville is that there's a variety of shopping and supermarkets close by. It's near my sister-in-law's place of work so she can drive right by and visit. The place was nice, nothing stuck out. The staff seemed pleasant and they're very nice. We only met the girl that toured us and the girl at the front desk, and the maintenance guy was decorating the doors and seemed very upbeat. They have church services, a pool table, and an outside courtyard and patio that's very nice.

My sister will be moving into Elderwood Village at Williamsville. Her daughter has spoken to them and put a down payment on and all kinds of stuff already. We went to see it, and we were very impressed. What I liked most about the facility itself was they were apartments; they weren't just one room. They were like a regular apartment, and there was room in them; it wasn't real tiny quarters. The person who took us on a tour was fantastic. She was very good, very welcoming and she showed us everything and answered all our questions. The dining room was very welcoming, very neat, and clean. It was spacious and very nice. It was very good. We were very pleased with the place. We were told that they have a computer room, and we were shown a beauty salon. We saw the library and we saw the outdoor patio area. We were shown a room on the second floor. The only thing that we wish was different was that my sister really would like a two-bedroom, which we understand isn't available right now and we're hoping one opens up. It felt very homey and not institutional. We were very pleased and very surprised.

I visited Elderwood Village at Williamsville (the one on Main Street). It was very clean there, well-organized, and well run. I looked at their assisted living and saw a 1-bedroom and a studio apartment. They were both very nice. They have a movie room, a church area, a nice outside atrium, and a patio.

I visited this facility to see my mom after 5 months of not being able to enter. The management has done an outstanding job at keeping their staff and residents safe, disinfecting and cleaning the facility, and communicating with family members. Their safety protocols are posted and easy to follow. They are actively testing all residents and staff for COVID-19 and taking every precaution necessary. While it has been difficult not seeing my mom, they made sure she was safe and well taken care of during these trying times. I appreciate everything that have done and continue to do.

Elderwood Village at Williamsville is an absolutely beautiful building. There is no memory care. It is an open street, and anyone can come and go, so it is not a secure place. There was a very English cottage feel to it. Their rooms were gorgeous. They have high-class clienteles there. Nevertheless, their apartments were all the same. Their apartments had a bedroom, a living room, a kitchenette, and a big bathroom. They were within the ballpark of the other places as far as the money goes.

Elderwood Village at Williamsville had a lot of different activities going on, and their menu was quite extensive. If you didn't like what they're having on that particular day, they had another menu where you could pick something else. The residents were very friendly, and the staff seemed to know all of the residents, which impressed me. The apartments were handicap accessible and pet-friendly. They had people whowould come in and sing, and programs for the residents likea hangman tournament, bingo, and exercise classes. They kept you busy.

We toured the assisted living of Elderwood Village. It was OK, but the price was very high especially if you are on disability income. The place was OK. The room was too small for a two-bedroom, and the price was way out of our reach as far as being on disability income. We were there during the open house and there was a snack table, but we were only there for about a half hour.

I liked Elderwood Village. The apartments were nice. The people were very friendly, but it was too expensive for us. They had three meals a day; the menu looked really good. Utilities were included. I talked to some of the people there who were very happy.

Elderwood at Williamsville was also a very nice facility, but it's a two or three-story arrangement where, again, my mother-in-law would be far from the elevator. It looked like they have good things. I’ve heard good things about it from friends who’ve had friends living there, so it was very nice. Probably the down side is that it is on an exceptionally busy main street, but not to mention the pleasant scenery. In fact, they have a garden area, which was nice.

The first one I toured was Elderwood Village at Williamsville. It was very nice. The folks there were very receptive. The representative showing me around was very good. However, the bottomline was that the only available apartments they had were on the third floor, and Mom does not do well with elevator on a regular basis by herself. They did keep us in mind in case of another opening. I saw the dining area and the courtyard. I saw an example of a studio apartment as well as a 1-bedroom facility. They were neat and clean, but they were smaller than what my mom was hoping for. I did not get an opportunity to eat there, but everything looked well and looked good. All the comments of folks were positive. I thought Elderwood was very nice; it just wouldn’t work for my mom.

The experience has been excellent at Elderwood Village, and they made everything very easy. The atmosphere is good, and the people seem happy. The employees seem happy, helpful, cheerful, upbeat, and conscientious. I know that my parents are happy with the place, but they just would rather be home. I already have recommended the place.

I was involved in helping a neighbor choose an assisted living facility and we could not be happier with her new home at Elderwood. She is loving it and is so involved and happy. This was a blessing to her daughter and to those of us who care about her. The staff is wonderful, the services provided are amazing and she is so happy there.

ElderWood Village at Glenwood seemed like an extremely nice place to live. I know that facilities like this one are often scrutinized as cold or sterile, but this one seems different from most. Many residents would prefer to live on their own in homes, I am sure, but with the assistance that they need, ElderWood provides an excellent alternative. My mother's friend always seemed to like living in the Village. I believe that because elderly people have a harder time getting out and being involved in things, they sometimes struggle to make connections and they become more isolated. But a residence like ElderWood is a great place for elderly people to be integrated into a community. I believe this is very helpful for them. The staff always was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful, and I thought the facility was beautiful as well. From all appearances, ElderWood is a terrific assisted living facility.

The staff at The Glenwood were so wonderful to my Dad. They made him feel like the mayor of the building and encouraged his great sense of humor to shine!
