We are residents of Carlton Hollow Senior Apartments. I liked the convenience. It was hard for the first several months we were here, we didn't have a car, and I was under the impression that there was a bus or something, but I was wrong. You need to have a car to live here. We're happy with the place. The people are very friendly and nice. We had some bad feelings because of a fight with our dog and another dog and a woman got caught in between, which was very negative. They've got this nice little pool and we were using that every day for a few months, and then when this thing happened with the dog, we sort of had such a bad feeling about the building and our relationship with the people in the building and we just stopped doing anything like that. We meet people in the hallways, some in the office, and everyone's very nice. We haven't had any problems with anybody. The facility is clean. They keep it clean.

I am a resident of Carlton Hollow Senior Apartments. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The grounds are meticulous. The maintenance is very responsive. I don't like that the pool is only open from eight in the morning till five in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, and I work from 8:30 to 5, and it's not on the weekend, so I don't get to use the pool, which is frustrating. They have a wonderful activities committee. They have different activities. Just last week, they had a lobster food truck here for ten hours, and that was wonderful. We have a different game played every night except Sunday. You have your stainless steel appliances, a full open-concept living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. I have a one-bedroom, one bath, and the bedroom is extremely large. The bathroom is very large but there is not much storage. They don't have food services here but they will cater from different restaurants in the area, and you just pay for it and you can go.

I went to tour Carlton Hollow Senior Apartments. The tour was fine, but none of the buildings are connected and all the activities are in different buildings, so it's not useful for my mother. It's just like an apartment, there were no services and they offer no care. The person who gave the tour was fine. I went to all the different buildings, the apartments were beautiful and they had a nice movie room and a nice pool room. They had a balcony or a patio, depending on what floor you were on.
