I live at Summit at Glenwyck. Our apartment is beautiful and very, very roomy. I have 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. They don't offer meals. They offer continental breakfast every day, and I have yet to partake to it so I don't know how that is. When we were lock down for Covid, they provided continental breakfast to our door every day, and that was quite nice. It was a box of cereal and a muffin, and a carton milk and a small juice container. They're very accommodating. When we were lock down with Covid, they provided Tuesday snacks and lunches and we get provided by Community Pie. Every month we get a 6-inch sub from Subway, and pizza from a local pizza place, and that's again provided by the Community also dessert made by local bakery. And then we have a summer picnic and a fall lunch and sort of a holiday dinner of some sort. I haven't been here long enough to know that. And those catered events are delicious. And you have the option of ordering out from a local restaurant every month. And then, it gets delivered right to your apartment. But they don't have a cook on hand. I've been here since April. Our pool was open, but according to the Covid rules someone from staff has to be in the building when the pool was open, so we have restricted hours for our pool, where before it was just opened 24/7. There are some activities that are being held. And we have entertainment twice a month. And those kinds of things but again they're limited to a certain number of people. We have movies once or twice a week, I don't know really. But again, the seating in the theater is limited to a certain number of people because of social distancing. So they are practicing all those Covid things in trying to keep us all healthy. We've only had 1 case of Covid, and that was early on. I mean, they're doing it right. But it has restricted the activities that they could do. That's one of the reasons we chose this facility was because of the activities. And Covid is really restricted with what they could do. The rent is kinda steep for me. And I didn't realize how much of my income it was really gonna take out and so I hadn't sat down and pay it. And, I would be happy to look for something, to look for something else that maybe had a few less amenities. The staff is amazing. On Mother's Day we opened the door to just go out and they're sitting in front of the door with a bag they suit a single rose in it. And, they did that for every female in the community. That's a kind of small thing they do. It's those private touches that they pay attention to. They publish birthdays for each month and then at the end of the month on Tuesday they bring cake and ice cream to our apartments. They used to have a big celebration for people. They keep track of things like that so that every body is included. It's a great community to live in. Everybody is friendly and helpful not only staff, also residents. It's really a warm happy community. And Covid has taken the life out of this community because people are in their apartments. And we will see each other before we go out for a walk or something, and everybody else stop and talk, and we have this little mini gathering out in the parking lot. But, Covid has done terrible things to us. The food that we get from them is excellent. This place is a 5, like living in a 5-star hotel. Everything about living here is wonderful. We have a dog park in the community, within the community. It's just a wonderful place to live. The facilities are clean. Overly clean actually, they're really kept up nicely. If I have called this morning a maintenance man would be here this afternoon, and the issue would be taken care of. I've never had to wait more than an hour for maintenance man to be here.

Summit at Glenwyck was quite a different community. You pay your own utilities and you take care of your own food. They did not have food preparation for the community. They had very, very compact common spaces, but they were very nicely kept. They didn't have any type of recreation facilities that we saw. It was more like going in and renting an apartment. We didn't see much in the way of recreation. I don't think there was a fitness room or anything like that. What they had was a bocce ball court and an outside seating area. On the outside, they had very nice landscaping and gardens. They had onsite laundry facilities as well. The one and two-bedroom apartments were very spacious. The upkeep was excellent. The facility was in very good shape. The staff seemed very friendly, but we caught them in the middle of some business. So, our tour was kind of rushed.

Summit at Glenwyck was very good and I was very pleased with all that I saw there. It's virtually exactly what I'm looking for. The residents seemed to be very involved in different activities. I saw a library group. There was a group in the community room playing bingo. I thought that was great. The staff there was very good and very helpful. They showed me everything that I needed to see and answered all my questions. The lady was just really, really good. They only have a continental breakfast, and my appointment was in the afternoon, so there wasn't any food to be had there. They have dinners where they have different restaurants in the area that bring in meals a couple of times a week, and that would be fine.

Summit at Glenwyck was a lovely facility with lots of amenities. I only met with the lady who gave us the tour, and she seemed fine. I believe she was a volunteer. The apartment was very well maintained. Everything looked new and clean. It was just a little smaller than I had hoped it would be. There were a lot of activities to do. It seemed like a good place to go to for friendships and get-togethers. There were a lot of long hallways for walking though. It seemed like a long way to go to get to some things. There was a pool area that offered exercise classes and things like that. There was a theater room there and a bar area where people would gather. There was nothing going on at the time I was there. The dining area was very nice and very big.

The community of Summit at Glenwyck is good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I just liked the layout of the place. Everything seemed compact and close by. I didn't have to go to one end of the building and back again. It was central. It's also very nice and clean. Plus, they have a continental breakfast that is free.

Summit at Glenwyck has the amenities that my mother was looking for. It has a place to live that would meet her needs, and it seemed they have the right mix of services in the amenities. The person who gave us the tour was pleasant, informative, and very helpful. The apartments were clean and modern, too. The outdoor spaces were close, accessible, clean, and new.

Yesterday, I went to tour Summit at Glenwyck in Glenville. It's independent living, and the tour was wonderful. The staff was very professional and very informative. The facility was beautiful, very well-kept, and organized. I saw the apartments and they're very nice. They just didn't have any available. They only have large units available, and I just need a smaller one. They have a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, a beauty parlor, craft room, theater, and a library. They serve daily continental breakfast. The dining area was beautiful, and the menu was quite varied. The location was perfect.

I went to Summit at Glenwyck and just looked around but it's a nice independent living place. The place is clean, large, and a little modern. The staff was friendly. I saw the dining room, the entertainment room, and the exercise room. The dining room was well-lit and there was a lot of space. Everything seemed to be pretty. Everything was presented well. I didn't have any problems.

Summit at Glenwyck was beautiful and new. They have a "two months free" offer. It was just beautiful, but it is on the outskirts of Schenectady, and the view is bad.

We have visited Summit at Glenwyck. In fact, we have already signed a lease and my mother is going to be moving there soon hopefully. We are very pleased with this one. It is entirely independent. The community is lovely. We first did a virtual tour, and they had lots of pictures online. The people I worked with there were really nice. A lot of things are closed down because of the current situation with the pandemic, but they have lots of options for my mother, and I'm really excited to get her in there. They still have activities. In fact, they had a schedule available. I felt like they were trying to keep things going as best they could. The staff members are wonderful. The woman, Lori, has been amazing. She has been helping me get paperwork done, she has been communicating with me, and is very helpful. They are just completely wonderful. The place is like being in a gorgeous hotel. I'm ready to move in myself.

Summit at Glenwyck was very nice. The apartment that we saw there was also very nice. It was a one-bedroom apartment and it was very accommodating. The staff member who gave me the tour was also very nice and helpful. They have all kinds of activities, they go on bus trips, and there are daily events. There's also a gym, a game room, and they have everything. The dining area was really nice, and they only serve continental breakfast. Everybody is in independent living so they all have their own places.

We visited The Meadows At Glenwyck and loved it. We're hoping that by the time we are ready, there will be an opening. They only serve breakfast, but they have an indoor pool which I needed for my therapy. The atmosphere is very nice.

The Meadows At Glenwyck was a very attractive community and the place was very good. They didnt have any food services at all, but the apartments were excellent. The amenities were very nice, and I guess the only food they have is coffee and breakfast in the morning. They have a swimming pool, craft rooms, they have barbecue grills outside, a gymnasium, and they have lots of activity areas for the residents. The staff member who accommodated me was wonderful, and I would rate her a five.

The Meadows At Glenwyck was well-designed and had everything needed by a resident in the community, like self-contained entertainment, a swimming pool, an exercise facility, hair salon, and a pub. I liked the arrangement provided for community interaction among the residents. It's a newer facility and was less cluttered and had more opportunities for quiet space. The one staff member I met was excellent.

The Meadows At Glenwyck was good and brand new. The people were nice, and everything looked fine. They had a fitness center and a pool. The dining area looked good. They didn’t have a full dining; it was more like a breakfast place.

The Meadows at Glenwyck had no dining room, so you eat inside your apartment. They had a big seating area for gatherings where the residents can bring and eat their own food and clean up after themselves. There was a bar attached to it, but you also bring your own booze. To me, that is not what I'm looking for in a senior home. They had activities and took the residents to the market once a week.

The staff who took me around The Meadows was very professional and very welcoming. The ambiance was very inviting. It's a nice facility with large apartments, an elevator, a pool, screening room for movies, and a little shop. Also, it was less expensive and of comparable location to others. They played cards and bingo.

A friend of ours called yesterday and asked do you still love it here like you did at first. My reply was "most certainly". We left our home after 62 years; the change is great. We really love the place. The people are friendly and cordial as can be. You can look further but you won't find better.
