We moved my parents into The Neighborhood In Rio Rancho I. It's very pleasant and clean. It's light and cheerful. The staff members and the head nurse are very accommodating. They allowed us to move my parents into the facility even though they both had Covid. That's incredible. They put them in isolation, but they still allowed us to take them there because they needed a lot of assistance, so that was amazing for us. And they made it happen and they helped us get to move there in a very timely manner. From the time we decided we wanted to put them there until the time we got them, it was a matter of three days. The dining area is okay. It's nothing grand. It's average. It's light and it has lots of windows. They take my dad down to the dining room every day, and he seems to be eating much better than he was at home. I would say that the food is good. My mom died before she was even there for two weeks. She died right away there, so no activities for her. We will also put my dad in hospice today. So my parents are not participating in any activities, but they've been very accommodating with helping us get medications and hospice care and all of that together for us. However, they're understaffed, and can't respond as quickly as my parents needed.

I toured The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho I. You can do aging in place and never have to move to another facility. The staff was very nice. It was very nice. It's a fairly new building. They're one of the very few retirement places that have a swimming pool. I felt like it's a very nice place and that it would be comfortable there. The sizes of the rooms are average, too. The biggest drawback is you have to buy in and the cheapest buy-in is like $300,000. You buy in for $300,000 for a one-bedroom in independent living, and then you pay a monthly rent, for like $3,500, but if you have to go into assisted living or nursing care, your monthly rent does not go up.

The tour I had at The Neighborhood In Rio Rancho was great. The cost was not. The staff was very caring, helpful, and congenial. The units were very beautiful.

We went to The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho. They're very professional. The people are very caring of the residents. They know the residents there. It's a very clean facility. The people there in the assisted living side were very well taken care of. The food was excellent. The rooms are very, very accommodating and very spacious for small rooms. The design of them is really well thought out. There's an emergency call button in every room. They have a couple of pianos. They do have a chapel, and I remember they have several patios that you can enjoy the mountainous view of the Sandia. They did have a movie room, and there were two libraries.

The Neighborhood In Rio Rancho was an extremely expensive place. Everything was excellent, the food was good, the staff was good, but they almost killed me because I had a glucose overdose. They had very hard beds, and a nice, big, bathroom. The food was OK, but it was something I did not like to eat. I was stuck in my room under quarantine.

My wife was in The Neighborhood In Rio Rancho a couple of weeks for skilled nursing. It was excellent, clean, the staff was very caring and did a great job. The food was good and the facilities were good. She was in a private room, and it's the same type of room for everybody in nursing care. We haven't attended any activities but they have them.

When considering where to place our loved one for rehabilitation after undergoing surgery for cancer, we interviewed this facility and was relatively comfortable with their “sales pitch” so we gave them a shot. WORST DECISION OF OUR LIVES. The nurses, and I use that word loosely, were not compassionate, were untrained, rude, and a downright disgrace to the healthcare system. They did not attend to his personal needs and when family came to check on him daily, more times than not, WE had to attend to him! DO NOT send your loved one to this facility for short-term critical care!! They are not equipped for this. We transferred our loved one out of there recently so that he can get the proper care he deserves. I will be filing a complaint with the State Agency in charged as well. New Mexico is severely lacking in providing quality healthcare to residents in need. What a pity for those who work, live and pay taxes there! How dare the Neighborhood insult us like this???!!!!!!! This is a crime that should be punishable by law!

We moved my mother to The Neighborhood In Rio Rancho because we feel they would give the best care. Their assisted living is superior to others as well as the environment. They have some activities, like bingo every day; my mother is trying to get into that. My mother's room is brand new and clean. There has never been anyone in it before. My observation over the last two weeks is that it has remained clean. I have eaten there twice, and the food seems good. It is all gourmet and good. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful.

Staff is surly and uncaring. This place may look nice, but snf care is terrible. Staff is only interested in keeping people quiet. Our loved one was sent there post hospitalisation. It was supposed to only be a 20 day stay for OT and PT. He was getting better while in the hospital, and until he was sent to The Neighborhood. Once he was sent to The Neighborhood, he rapidly declined. He never made it out of The Neighborhood alive. Don't ever go near this place.

This review is for the skilled nursing facility for short-term rehab. If you are expecting exceptional care, skilled care, compassion, assistance with ANY IADL/ADL tasks in this exceptional luxurious facility, then this place IS NOT for you or your loved one. They do a a wonderful job wow'ing you when admitting you, then it's quickly downhill from there. They have adequate staff around the clock, just not adequate enough to tend to or provide you the sufficient care you need to get better to return home. They kept my MIL's door closed almost at all times. That's attentive, alright.... They took longer than 30+ minutes every single time to tend to her. This included accidents that could've have been prevented. The professionalism and demeanor is insulting considering the field they are in and the reputation they are attempting to uphold for its' high end retirement home. This includes the lack of professionalism or regard from the management staff. I hope DOH steps in and requires that the company re-trains the whole skilled nursing staff and team. Please discuss with your doctors/loved ones before agreeing to transfer them here either for short term rehab or long term.

The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho has three buildings, one of which was independent, the other is assisted, and the other is memory care. I didn't like the fact that there is no blending of people so you're stuck with the same people. The rooms are wonderful, but it seemed very institutional to me once you passed independent living. The person who gave me the tour was wonderful. The dining area looked very nice. It looked like there were plenty of facilities for exercises and watching movies. The place was perfectly clean, but there's no place outside to walk and I didn't like the way they laid out the building.

Everything in The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho is really nice. I think anyone would enjoyliving there. It's a really nice community, they have lots of amenities, and the rooms were really nice. We ate lunch there and the food was also really good. The guy that was showing us around was really nice. Among all the ones we've looked at, this place was the nicest.
