My husband moved to MorningStar of Rio Rancho. I've been to other places, and I like Morningstar. I think they're far superior to anywhere else in Rio Rancho. The staff do so much for my husband. He's in bed, he can't get out, and they bring him food. They help feed him. They changed his diapers. They do everything I can't do. My husband has a microwave because we bought one for him. I believe they have one in their kitchen. It's the most nicely maintained place I've ever seen in my life. They have everything. They even have pet therapy day on Wednesday, which I was very impressed with. I haven't been to it, but I saw it posted on the wall.

MorningStar of Rio Rancho was amazing. Everything about it was great. I have nothing bad to say about them. The staff was great, and the food was great. Everything there was very professional and very clean, and everything was nice. My aunt was there for five days, and her apartment was very nice. No complaints about anything there. The food was good. They always supplied the food. They would bring it up to her room since she couldn't go down to the dining area. They would bring her whatever she wanted when she wanted it. Right when she was transitioning, they were great. They brought baskets of fruit, trays of cold cuts, drinks, water, and everything. I just don't have a bad thing to say about it. Everybody there was very courteous and very attentive, from the nursing staff to the kitchen staff. They were very expensive though.

Very beautiful place. As we did a walk through everything was amazing they told us everything we wanted to hear. Once we places our loved one there. Things were different. The care staff in memory care was terrible and the Executive Director is even worse. You can not have a good care staff if don't have a good Leadership. I would not recommend placing your loved one at this location.

My experience with MorningStar of Rio Rancho seemed a little rushed. The woman was probably busy that day, but I felt like I needed to hurry. It was a beautiful place, very, very pretty, and very well laid out. It was less friendly and more formal though, which is fine. The staff was well informed, but a little rushed. The model rooms were gorgeous. I do not recall seeing one that was lived in.

MorningStar of Rio Rancho was a beautiful memory care community. It looks like a resort, not a care home, and I feel like you're going to get a lot more care there. They had a 1 to 5 staff ratio. In all the different places that we saw, there was a staff member with either one or a group of people, and they were very active. They also had a doctor on call and a physician's assistant on staff. The facility was very open and had beautiful high ceilings in the common areas. The studio suite was the largest of the rooms and there was a beautiful courtyard right outside of it. You will get your own refrigerator and your own shower. The people were very professional and very caring. We talked to Justina and she was very informative. She didn't waste our time, yet she was thorough.

I toured MorningStar of Rio Rancho. The tour experience was excellent. I'm very impressed with them. I like the units I saw. If I were to live there, I would want a two-bedroom. Their food was okay. We didn't order very much, but it appears like their menu was pretty good. Everything was just excellent. I didn't expect it to be that good. It's very impressive. They have a lot of games, they have movies, and they told me they sometimes go out to different places. They have transportation for people that want to go to Walmart, to one of the stores, or a restaurant. I also like the fact that they have services for people of different faiths, and I think that's good. It seems very clean. It's very close to where I live, and I like the location because it's very close to the hospital and my son doesn't live that far from there.

We toured MorningStar of Rio Rancho. It was wonderful. We liked that they had a refrigerator and a little kitchenette in their own individual room. That was nice. Everything was nice.

We toured MorningStar of Rio Rancho. The building itself was very appealing and very clean. The whole facility was clean. We were greeted right away at the front desk. We arrived a little early and said we can wait because we know we were early, and they right away took us in. Our temperatures were checked. Name tags were given. We did not have a meal, but we were offered a meal there. They had a packet ready for us with information like a copy of a calendar of activities and a calendar of the meals for the month. The place was wonderful. It was clean and inviting. The people there were professional. There were a lot of activities that were going on that were in session while we were there. They have a nice patio courtyard in the middle of the building that was very nice. The rooms were very spacious. It was just a very good experience there. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. He was professional. He was informative. He answered any questions we had. He was very knowledgeable.

MorningStar of Rio Rancho was a combination assisted living and memory care. We asked about having just my wife there with the possibility of me joining later on. It was noticeably very clean and the residents seemed to be in a variety of activities and enjoying it. Their facilities seemed to be outstanding to me. We were a little bit disappointed with the receptionist, but everybody else that we dealt with was very courteous and we got along fine. She seemed upset that we were not completing all that entry stuff that they required there, or the fact that we didn't know exactly what they were after and how they were after it. Some of it was verbal, and some of it was electronic. My wife said that she was asking about a former neighbor of ours that we heard was there and enjoyed it, and the receptionist said she wasn't even there. The people we dealt with later on said, yes, indeed, she was there, but she didn't happen to be in at the time. We just felt that that the receptionist could have been a little more accommodating to us. There could be room for improvement there. The rooms seemed very well organized with a big living area that connected with the kitchen and a bedroom off that, a bath and shower off of the bedroom, and a walk-in closet. It seemed very substantial. They showed us a menu and they showed the way that the kitchen was organized and they had snack areas out there separate from the dining hall. It all looked very well organized and very clean. They also offered us coffee. They had a gym recreation area there. They seemed to have everything you might be interested in. The staff themselves were very good.

We visited MorningStar of Rio Rancho. It was very nice, it looked like a high-end hotel. Overall, it was very clean. The particular room we saw had had just been moved out of and they hadn't had a chance to renovate it. The room was large compared to others we've seen, but it was not that clean. When we got the tour, they said they were going to renovate it. The staff were very nice people, courteous, and helpful. They have a very clean dining area.

We toured MorningStar of Rio Rancho for my uncle, and their studio was way bigger than the others. It was a good size, it came with a full refrigerator, and a kitchen sink kind of countertop. It had a big bathroom, and it was a lot more spacious than the other places. That was their cheapest room, and it was probably pretty close to the higher priced ones of the others. The building completely surrounds the courtyard, and one of the rooms that they said was available would have a door right out onto the courtyard from the studio apartment. It is a brand-new place, and that also makes a difference. They have a nurse on call, and in there five days a week. Depending on what kind of assistance you would need to get, you press the button and they come and help you. I was impressed with that place. The one who assisted us did a real good job. The whole staff over there were very friendly, very nice, and very cordial. They have activities, but I don't know how much of it my uncle would get into. They were trying to get them into a poker group, but he doesn't play poker. They have groups that go to casinos over here and stuff like that. I'm sure if he went there, he'd be very happy.
