I moved here in December and I am very happy. The office staff, maintenance people are great. I love that I can go right next door to the senior center for a noon meal. The grounds are well kept and the building is clean. I would recommend it to anyone.

We chose Buena Vista Apartments for my parents. They fell into their income requirement, and it's a great location. It's right next to the senior center and shopping center with all the amenities, supermarket, and pharmacy. They're waiting for their particular apartment. The staff during the tour was very professional and friendly. She dropped everything. She was very attentive and gave us all the information very quickly. It's an older building, but they keep it very clean and very pleasant. The apartment has a stove and a refrigerator, it's air conditioned, and it has a washer and dryer hookup.

BED BUG PARADISE! I am so glad my mom is out of this Apartment building. Several people have had bed bugs in this place but they will not fix it.. The resident is blamed and my mom had to pay $600+ dollars to get rid of them. The elevators go down frequently, do not live on an upper floor unless you can climb stairs. If you complain, they'll tell you "No one else has complained".

Office staff is not really helpful and if you complain about something too many times, you might find an eviction notice on your door. There is dog poop on the third floor from a dogowner that is too lazy to take her dog down and out. People complain but where told to clean it up themselves - tell me what is housecleaning for? I think it's it's not sanatary and if you step it you could slip and fall. , If the dog poops he also pees and who knows how many times a day? Light in the front hallway will be turned off around 7pm and you lucky you find your way to the elevator in the dark - really? To save electricity they say - well who pays for the electricity if not the renters? This management is just waiting for a lawsuit to happen, either for negligence or endangerment of the residence. I don't know why this company is paying this manager if she could cost them an arm and a leg in the longrun, you would think she would care about the residence instead of putting them into daily danger.

I am staying at Buena Vista here at Rio Rancho. It is a nice place and everyone here is nice. I get along with everyone here. They have activities. I pay my own utilities but I would prefer to go to a place that includes utilities. I am satisfied here, but I want to get out of Rio Rancho because I don't drive and transportation to coordinate.

My parents preferred to stay at Buena Vista Apartments because the other residents were of the same age they were. There was also a senior center nearby where they went during the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were average in size. Everything was well-maintained. Everybody seemed happy there.
