I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband moved into BeeHive Assisted Living Homes of Rio Rancho #1. I chose it because I was impressed with the facility itself. It's like a family setting. It's not large, it's just a small group of clients there. And so, there's more one-on-one attention. The staff is just wonderful. The room he is in is very spacious. It's a lovely room that overlooks the backyard and the patio area that they have. I'm very pleased with his room. It has its own bathroom, and I bought a TV for him. There's a large closet and a good-sized bathroom. I have been there when he has had meals. Everything is home-cooked and smells wonderful. And he was eating it, so it had to be good. The place is extremely clean.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband is in BeeHive Assisted Living Homes of Rio Rancho #1. I'm happy with the facility he's in. It's small and there are only 12 residents in the home, and they're just very friendly, good staff. We had my husband's parents in one of the Beehive facilities before they passed away, so we're familiar with it and comfortable with it. We're happy with the (staff-resident) ratio. Cleanliness is good. They clean daily. When he first moved in, the room hadn't been used, so the air-conditioner wasn't working right, but when I addressed it, they took care of it immediately. He's there for assisted living. He's got some dementia, but he's also having balance issues. He loves the food. He texts me every meal he eats and says it tastes good. When I let them know certain things he likes, they've incorporated those into some of the meals. I have been there for some of the get-togethers, like the holiday get-togethers, and the food is always cooked fresh and it's tasty. They do some memory-type games. They hit the balloon with pool noodles to keep their arms active for coordination. He does a lot of memory books, they bring in therapy dogs, they bring in musicians, and they have movies. I'm pretty happy with them. They've had some staff turnovers since we've been there, but the folks that are there have been good, and treat him well. He enjoys the activities they do. They bring in music and entertainment. He just enjoys being with people and just doing things. They get him involved. The facility is great. It's easy to get a hold of the staff. They communicate with me well.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My wife is at BeeHive Homes, and she seems to be doing pretty well. Her room is very nice and has everything she needs. It's a good size. The staff seems very nice and tries its best, but my wife would like to see some changes in the food. They have quite a few activities like celebrating people's birthdays, and they had the Mayor come over about a month ago and had a party since it was his service dog's birthday. They also celebrate all the holidays, too.

Beehive Homes of Enchanted Hills is clean and fairly modern. The staff is quite knowledgeable. They have an activities director, and they do exercises. They also have board games and puzzles.
