I moved into Affinity at Albuquerque. They've been very helpful, very polite, and it's great. There's a great group of people with lots to do; I'm happy so far. The staff could have been a little more informative on a few things, but all in all, they did pretty well. For what they offer, I guess the value for money is okay. They have the movie theater, bingo, happy hour, they have bible study, a sing-along, and just a variety of stuff that they put together. It's not the staff but the people here that put the activities together.

I went to see Affinity at Albuquerque. It's independent living, and I loved it. An apartment came available and I took it. I'm moving in September. There are a lot of amenities and a lot of activities. There's only one rent that includes all utilities, wi-fi, and TV. The grounds are beautiful. It has an indoor swimming pool, and there are lots of activities all the time. There's a beautiful theater. There's a pub, and I got an apartment facing the mountain. The view is wonderful, and I know I'm going to be happy there. I don't think there's food included with anything. I think they have some socials that include food, but they don't have a restaurant or daily food served. The facilities looked wonderful. There's a game room. There's a craft room. There's a workshop. There's an indoor pool, and there's a theater. There's an exercise room, and they offer daily chair yoga. It looked wonderful, and it was just what I was looking for.

Affinity at Albuquerque is very, very nice. It's 55+ so they're seniors, there's a lot of amenities like an indoor pool, and it's close to my house. They also have a library, a craft room, they have a woodshop, they have a pub and they have a movie theater. The staff that gave us the tour was very friendly, very accommodating, easy to work with, and easy to talk to. They understood our situation. It's very clean and well-kept, inside and outside.

Affinity at Albuquerque is a nice facility. It's very clean and cheerful. The staff there is very helpful. The particular room I looked at was very nice, it was a 1-bedroom. They have an island in the kitchen that they were willing to remove because I didn't like that. They allow pets too. They're an independent living community so they don't serve meals and stuff like that.

Affinity at Albuquerque has easy access for the family members to get in and out, and it's located near lots of shopping. The staff is great during our tour. They talked to us like they have known us for years, they're excellent. My mother-in-law will be moving to independent living, it's a 55+ community. She still could do a lot of stuff herself. She'll just be around the corner though. The place is centrally located for me to go and check on her. They have an activity room that they have couches to sit on and stuff like that. They have different activities for their residents. It's also only two minutes around the corner from where I stay, so there is easy access for her to walk in the mornings with me, and stuff like that if she needs to get out. The facility was pretty clean. It also had elevators, which was a plus. They also had the trash chutes, so overall it was pretty clean. I always think everything's overpriced, but with what she'll be getting, the utilities, and everything in the locality, I think it's a great price for the money.

I will be moving into Affinity at Albuquerque. There's a grocery store about five minutes away, there's a Presbyterian hospital about five minutes away, and it's about ten minutes away from my great-granddaughters, so that piqued my interest. I liked the fact that it was relatively new, and I loved the cabinetry. I'm particularly attracted to the facility and the things that I can get involved in. There is a corner where I can go paint, they have a beautiful pool, and they just had a lot of extracurricular things. They have a guest room and an exercise room. I'm seventy-five and I'm at a point in my life where I want to create a kind of new life for myself, and I have the feeling that this is going to be a good opportunity for me. The one who assisted me on the tour was very nice, and her name was Bobby. She was just a darling girl, very informative, is very at home, and she made me feel very comfortable. I had my granddaughter with me who was about seven months pregnant, and it so happened that Bobby is about seven months pregnant as well, so the two of them got along beautifully. It was just a nice experience. The room is going to be perfect for me. I don't need a lot of space, because I don't have furniture anyway, except a bed. My couch has been on order for three months, so now I've got a new place to put it, and I know it's going to be ideal for me. They don't offer food, and that's fine, I don't need that, but it might be nice once in a while to go have breakfast or something. They have an area where if my family wants to come over, they could join me for dinner or whatever. They have a nice large room that I could use if I have company. I didn't pay a lot of attention to what the activities were. They have a movie room, and that piqued my interest because I love movies.

I saw Affinity at Albuquerque, and I fell in love with it. It was great. It was perfect, and I wanted it. I looked at another place and while both of them were really great, I wanted the one in Albuquerque. I had to give both of those up. The move itself to do all that is gonna be way out of my budget. I cannot afford to move. It was fairly new, and the facilities were great, clean, and up-and-coming. When I got shown one of the units, the one that I wanted would've been perfect. It had a great view. It is in an area where there are stores and you have access to a lot of things. I got familiar with the area, and it would've been perfect to live in. The staff who showed me everything was great, very thorough, very friendly, and very professional. I really enjoyed my visit while I was there. I did not feel intimidated, and I did not feel pressured. She was just very open and very welcomingl that is what made me really like it. She was very friendly. They had a variety of everything. I know because of Covid, a lot of stuff was not going on. They were very hopeful, and they wanted these things to go on. I live in an independent retirement community which is a little bit more open and we have multiple buildings. Whereas Affinity at Albuquerque is just one enclosed building, but it was good. There were activities to look forward to, the pool was there, just lots of different things to be involved in. It was very welcoming.

My son and I chose the apartment in Affinity at Albuquerque. I thought the place looked new, and clean, and had real apartments. The staff who accommodated us was very special. My son has worked with her and we're both impressed. For a one-bedroom, I think the price was going to be $1,650. My kids have already ordered to have fresh food delivered to me. I think the setup is good.

Affinity at Albuquerque is very pleasant. The apartments are very nice and the people who live here are very congenial and seem to get along very well. We have a movie theater, mahjong and different games, library, and a book club. If somebody wants to organize something, they can. I'm very happy here. There's no food here because there's a kitchen in each apartment. People cook whatever they want, or they buy it. Everything is impeccable and in very good condition. The place is two years old and very new. The staff is extremely helpful and very pleasant. The value is extremly good.

Affinity at Albuquerque was fantastic. They had everything. They had a get-together room, play room, and party room. They had happy hour, a movie theater, a hot tub, a sauna, and everything. It was one of those places that I just dreamed of living.
