My parents are in Brightview Woodbury Lake. The place is very nice. The person who gave me the tour was very good, she was very nice, and knowledgeable. They have activities for the residents, like bingo, outings, or they go out to lunch. They can also get manicure there on-site. Some of the amenities include a hair salon and a TV room where they can play movies or whatever. My impression of the place was very nice.

We visited Brightview Woodbury Lake, partly because it's a smaller community. It seems very well organized, and it has plenty of activities and people seemed to care. It seems to have what my mother needs. It is very clean and well cared for. It's a good location for family access. They a have a hair salon. They have doctors that come in every week. They have nice outdoor areas, where people can sit, and they can also eat. They can also garden if they want a garden. It seems like they have a lot of activities going on, which is nice.

My visit with Brightview Woodbury Lake was informative. I was well received and they were very polite and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean. A client was in one room at the time and she seemed very happy with it. I didn't notice any odors or anything of that nature. She had her own furniture in there and that looked very nice. There was one room where people seemed to be interactive real well. The therapists were doing a good job in presenting things. One floor was set up in three units and each unit had their own TV sitting area and an area where they could be entertained or hold classes. It's well maintained, well staffed, and it's very pleasant to walk through and meet with the staff. I was introduced to quite a few people as we walked through and they all were very friendly and eager to talk to you about things.

My dad is in Brightview and likes it. Everything is good. His room is very nice and big. Sometimes the food is excellent and sometimes it is bad, but that is to be expected. They are always trying to get him to do something, but he is a sports fan and always watches sports TV. They have a baseball gathering going on with popcorn and stuff in the big room that he joins. He doesn't have any problems with the staff. They are very good to him. I think it is a bit costly, but they really take good care of him.

If you love you mother, father, or whoever needs care, stay away from here. My mother lived here for five years, and I did not know until recently that they had kept her drugged up. She went on to live somewhere else, where all drugs were eliminated, and was a normal person again. If I could give minus five stars I would.

We visited Brightview, and it was very nice. They had three levels of care. One was independent living, one was assisted living, and one was when one needed 24-hour care. The staff was very nice. They had two meals in the independent living and three meals in the assisted and the full care units. They had the exercise, the bistros, and bar. The staff over there was unbelievably good.

I chose Brightview for my dad because they were more active. Everything is very good, but the price is high. My dad says the food is good. The rooms are nice, and they’re pretty spacious. It’s a nice and beautiful place. They have a lot of activities, and they take them out on bus rides as well.

Brightview was my favorite one. It's assisted living, and they also have it separate for people who need more help mentally. I would move in there. It was very nice. They had very nice apartments, 3 meals in the dining room a day with a nice menu, a hair salon, and gardens with them to work in. The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I like the apartments. I like the whole place; the grounds were beautiful. They had security as far as they were a resident. If someone was going to wander out, they won't be able to. They wear a button that they push if they need help and help is there right away.

Brightview Woodbury Lake was beautiful but expensive. It was like an upscale hotel when you walked in. I mean, it was really nice. It was very clean. The rooms were nice but smaller for the price.

I was able to visit Brightview at Woodbury and I like the facility. I like its location because it's near shopping centers and I also like their menu. I am a diabetic and they offered sugar-free desserts every day. They also have sugar-free drinks; not many places offer that. It’s a very nice facility, but I couldn’t afford to live there. The staff were very nice and cordial. They told me they have activities like they play bingo and other things.

My dad moved in yesterday to Brightview Woodbury. The facility is nice. They do have assisted living as well as memory care. I like the design of the facility, the features inside and outside, and the cleanliness. They are very good. I only met some of the staff and they were nice.

While the image portrayed to the public is very pleasant, the ignorance towards the residents happens behind closed doors. They seem more concerned about finances rather than care. I have witnessed staff mistreatment and it does not good to report it to any of the directors because they are just as careless as the employees.

While some services are slightly lacking (laundry not put away properly, wrong residents clothing in drawers, things left out of place by cleaning staff, etc.) the staff are incredibly pleasant and friendly. Not once have I seen any hint of inappropriate behavior. His valuables have not gone missing (like they did in other facilities) and the residents of the dementia wing are closely supervised so that they do not wander outside. Also, it doesn't "smell like a nursing home." I know that sounds odd, but it's true--it doesn't have that hospital/urine smell I always associate with any vaguely medical facility. They're very clean, and the place always feels well-kept.
