My sister has moved into the Terraces at Parke Place. They are very well organized. It is a very clean, modern, updated facility. My sister really likes it. The food was good. It's old person's food, but it's OK. We've had a couple of meals there: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff we met were nice and professional. They knew all the residents by name. There's a really nice personal touch. My sister's room is clean and well kept. It's a decent size. They have games, movie nights, books, and outings. They take people out to stores, too.

I toured Terraces at Park Place and it was very nice. This was a larger facility compared to the others. The corridors were a little longer. I thought they had a lot to offer in terms of amenities. My dad is still pretty sharp in a lot of ways. And I didn't think it would be a good environment for him to be around residents that require a higher level of care. I didn't want him to be in a situation where that could be where he's placed. I just didn't think that was a good fit.

I visited Terraces at Parke Place. I toured both their memory care and assisted living facilities. I thought it was nice. Their assisted living was much nicer than memory care, but I understand that they have to keep a tight rein on them. It was a nice facility. The staff was nice. The one woman who helped me, I think her name's Aisha, she's very knowledgeable about the facility, and she volunteered a lot of information. She answered questions that I probably would not have remembered or known to ask; she was good. When I went there, they were getting some stuff ready, like games and different stuff. I didn't see them actually playing, but there were women in the game room. They have painting, word find, and different stuff like that.

We toured Terraces at Parke Place. The girl that toured me was fabulous. However, I noticed a lot of grumpy faces and a lot of angry-looking people, not like the other place where everybody was smiling, happy, and co-mingling. That one, they toured me, and we walked through, and a woman was reading a story to the residents, and they were half-asleep and they all smelled like they had something in their pants like they weren't attended to. So I didn't like that one at all. I didn't care for the place itself. I didn't have a good feeling about it at all. When I first got there, the woman who greeted me was very nice. She was very informative. She gave me a lot of great information. And the pricing on that place was really through the roof for what they had to offer. It was very outdated for the amount of money they wanted.

I found the Terraces at Parke Place for my mother. I've been there three times. It was very small and quiet. I believe it only has 70 residents. It looks just like the place where my mom is in North Carolina, so I thought that was nice. Everybody seems very friendly and kind, and has answered all my questions, and has helped me figure out how I'm going to get my mother here from North Carolina, so that's been a big help. There's a salon, there's a dining room, various living rooms where groups can gather for things. It's a fireplace with a big TV above it where they show movies. It just seems like a quiet, homey place. It's close to where we live, and the Jefferson Hospital is right down the road.

I've been here in assisted living at Terraces at Parke Place and I'm satisfied. They're a little short of help. I have a very large room and I have furniture from home. The food is sufficient and we have choices. Each floor has a big library, a lounge, they have a beauty salon, and they do activities every day. They have transportation to the doctors. I checked some other places and this seems to be the best. They have cards, Bingo, and movies. The value is great.

This a really nice place. I chose this for my Mom coming out of rehab. She didn't stay very long as she didn't feel as though she was ready for AL. Although her stay was short, I must say, everyone was nice, friendly, compassionate and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the facility was very clean. The resident director always made time to answer any questions I had. I can say without a doubt, when the time is right, I wouldn't hesitate sending her back.

Terraces at Parke Place was very nice, very clean, beautiful, and big. The staff seemed to be a little standoffish. The dining area was very clean. The décor was very pretty. The rooms were a nice size. Everything about it seemed very nice except I did not get a homey feeling.

My dad used to stay at The Terraces at Parke Place. It was a good place. The care was good. They did a good job there. They had bingo, and they played cards. The food was good too. I ate breakfast and lunch with my dad, and it was pretty good. It seemed like breakfast and lunch were their biggest meals.

My mother would be in the nursing care part of Terraces at Parke Place. My fiance’s mother-in-law is there, so I have experience and knowledge of what it is about. I know they do crafts and sing-alongs. They provide three meals a day and transportation. They have a doctor on staff. The staff members were very attentive and very nice. The woman who walked me through the tour was very informative. She gave an excellent presentation of the facility.

Terraces was a beautiful place, and not far from my home. The person that I spoke to was very nice and she showed me around. The place has a very nice atmosphere, and the rooms were beautiful. It was a large room and was furnished well. I saw the dining area and the big room. The dining room was nice. The staff was very nice and pleasant. Overall, it was nice.

The staff was very courteous and treat the residents like friends and equals rather than patients. The building does not smell like a hospital like others that I have been in while doing community service with my church around the holidays. My grandmother was very nervous about moving in however she got more acclimated once she realized she could bring things from her house, like furniture and other decorations for her room. Her room looks just like a sized down version of her former house. We even ate lunch with her before taking her out for shopping and her birthday dinner, and I was surprised to find that the food was actually really good, nothing like hospital food which was what I was expecting. The grounds are well manicured and my grandmother loves to garden, which has become her unofficial job at the facility, she waters and weeds every day under the supervision of the staff. I'm very happy that my grandmother is in good hands and can live in such a nice place.
