The people here are so easy to get along with. Physical therapy was very good and so was speech therapy. I only had one bad experience with a nurse. Everyone else was so nice and positive. Everyone that I dealt with came in with a positive persona. The activities staff came in everyday to make sure I was okay and offered me to join them in their events. They were very friendly as well. Every nurse and cna met my needs. It was easy for me to work with everyone. They matched my time frame and even when they were busy they were on top of the patients. I was concerned to come to this facility due to a poor experience at another facility but promedica went above and beyond to make me feel safe and secure. My room was cleaned thoroughly every day.

My sister was in this facility and all the staff was so attentive and friendly. They came when she hit the call button and checked in on her often. Her room was large and bright and they kept it clean. My sister was too sick to participate in any activities but she did go the PT for a while and they were really good with her, they even came to her room to work with her. My family was there a lot and they allowed us to keep some food in the refrigerator and we could always go in and get ice and water. I would recommend this facility because it is difficult to have a family member in a rehab center but this facility made it much nicer. We were in a few others with my mother being very sick and then my sister and this one was by far the best, mainly because of the wonderful people who work there. The food was also much better than a few. Thanks for the wonderful care you gave my sister, it was certainly appreciated during such a difficult time. Kathy

My husband is a long term care resident at the Voorhees facility and they treat him and myself with respect and dignity. The care is excellent and staff is excellent. I would recommend this facility to anyone. The activity director provides fun things and entertainment. The facilities administrator you see up and down the hallways and knows everyone by name, so caring. He has rolled his sleeves up and helped wherever there was a need.

I Would like to say that Manor Care Voorhees is a great place My Mom (Barbara Henderson) has been in a lot of Rehabs/ Nursing Home over the years because of her health. Of all the places she been in this is the best one. Mom loves Manor Care Voorhees everyone and I mean everyone treats her great they give the best care and make her feel like family and she loves everyone. Here are some of the great workers Lady Dia, Aisa, Pumpkin, Monique and Shamika they love my mom and she loves them. This is a great place for your love ones they care about your loves one you don't have to worried if they are taking good care of your loves one because they are. They are worth every star and more If I could give them 10 stars I would.

My husband is a long-term patient at Manor Care. The hallways and main visitor areas are kept clean. The kitchen staff is working to create more appetizing meals for the patients. The "activities" staff is working hard to create a comfortable, well-managed area for the residents to visit. The activities are of interest to most of the residents. Most of the aides are courteous and respond to requests fairly quickly. The nursing staff stills needs some improvement. Most of them are great to work with; others not so great. Just like any other facility, you have to ask questions and keep your eyes open. I'm glad he's here.

I Visited the facility at 6pm in the evening and I thought I would not be able to receive a tour. The receptionist was very accommodating and immediately called for someone to tour me throughout the building. My first impression it was clean and had no odor. The person given the tour I do not remember her name was very informative and .answered all my questions with ease The rooms are large and have ample enough space for 2 people very comfortably, The staff as I was touring of course were working with the patients but each one I encountered greeted me with a cheery hello. very warm and friendly. I did see the residents interacting during a evening program they were having, it was entertainment and the room was full. The activity staff member stepped out and introduced herself and asked if I would like a monthly calendar and asked what Mom might be interested in, That to me made me feel she would assist Mom with choices of daily activities that would fit her likes and dislikes.. I really left ManorCare Voorhees with a positive feeling and I will be making steps into placing Mom there when she is comes out of the hospital. I hope this helps someone that might be looking to place their family member, I was impressed

I selected this facility as I am a nurse practitioner and wanted the best care for my mother as she requires full assistance 24/7 for her rheumatoid arthritis and a recent wound. The staff has been doing nothing except meeting and exceeding my expectations. Grateful to have selected a facility so close to home and a peace of mind my mother is being cared for in a way I couldn't provide.

If I could give less than one star I would. My grandmother is here for pt/ot rehab. They have DONE nothing to care for her. I had a comprehensive discussion the day she was transferred with her assigned nurse (my only option of medical personnel). She is NOT receiving ot...she is is a fall risk and left to move about on her own WITHOUT her walker (70% strength loss on the left side!!!) She is malnourished and had lost a ton of weight prior to entering- another 1.5 pounds gone in less than a week. Macaroni salad between two slices of whole wheat bread IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE NUTRITIONAL MEAL, not even when served with 3 vanilla wafers. No one ensures she eats anyway.... I found a significant amount of fecal matter caked between her buttocks- as she cannot wipe (physically limited) and she nearly fell again in the bathroom. The facility is unresponsive at best and neglectful. The reports they file with her health insurance are in STARK contrast to those from the hospital and other pt/ot she had just days before their assessment. I asked for a transfer last week (6 days ago)- facility has not even responded!

I am a resident here for rehab on my total knee replacement. I have a lot to say. I was a licensed practical nurse when I was able to work. I'm disappointed with the physician. I am currently a pain management. Patient as well so when the dr came in to see me after I got here I explained my position with regard to physical therapy and asked him to increase my pain meds from every 6 hrs to every 4 hours. He plainly stated he could not. I am struggling with pain after getting up and moving the leg and physical therapy was horrific. I am not a med seeker! I just wanna b outta pain while I rehab this leg and when I'm home I'm on pain meds already! There are some great nurses here. It's sad that I can't give a positive review. The food is terrible! I am a young woman in comparison to most folks here. I'm 51 yes old. This place is not for people my age at all! And enduring pain does not make me successful in rehabbing my knee.. It makes me hesitant to walk or use my leg because I know the pain is forthcoming. Last night they just didn't give me my long acting pain med because they just didn't have it! I wish I could cut open the dr knee and tell him that he's just gonna have to deal with it because I just can't change his medicine! We all know that wouldn't happen because he's not looked down upon because he's currently taking pain meds! I'm angry I'm hurting and just don't think any of this is the right way to treat a human being! I feel like a no body here and they have forgotten the residents here are the reason they even have a job! Like I said I have alot to say... I could keep going but it won't matter!

My relative has been there exactly one day and we are frantic. This place is horrible. They have already skipped his meds twice and the one time he got them he was given a medicine that he should not have had and not given one he needed. I have much more to say, but for his safety I will hold back so there is no retaliation against a helpless old man.

Minus 1 star. I can't even begin to say what a horrible place this is and what poor condition my Father was in when released from their care. In January 2013 my Father broke his hip and was sent there to rehab. He started to complain his foot was bothering him and I saw horrible pain faces. His roommate told me he was up in the middle of the night hollering? that isn't my Father. My Dad begun to appear very drugged and even started to withdraw. That isn't my Father. He told me the staff was rough when moving him and his room mate told my sister one of the aides was extremely rough with him. After 3-weeks my sister receives a call stating he has a sore on the bottom of his heal. Sore is an understatement a hugh black would that took up his entire heel. Within 4-days after that we were told he was to be released that Saturday. Well Manor Care it's been 8-months and my Father won't be able to walk for another 6 to 8 months if he able because of the poor care he received. Within a week after they released him we were back at the emergency room being told he was over medicated. There is so much more to this story which has caused my entire family so much pain and suffering. I was actually told it was my Father's fault that he got a sore on his foot. He broke his hip you overdose him on medication and it's his fault. Shame, shame, shame..Nobody should put their family member there.

This facility has a pleasant setting. It is sent at the very back end of an retail and office park, so it has the benefits of both easy access and peace and quite. It backs up to woods, and there is a pond nearby where geese live, so it is quite pleasant. The common areas of the facility are beautiful. The place feels new and modern--not at all run down. But it is also decorated in a timeless way that should allow older patients to feel at home. The higher-up staff is wonderful. However, the quality of the CNAs is hit-or-miss. Some are pleasant, some are gruff and hurried. Unfortunately, I have heard that the food has declined in quality recently.
