I have to say after staying here that compared to the other facilities I have worked with, this is the best regarding patient care, friendliness of staff, and therapy.

We are a 300 bed Skilled Nursing Facility that offers the highest level of care to a broad population. We have achieved 5 star Quality Measures and pride ourselves on delivering great results for our short term sub-acute rehabilitation patients and our long term care residents alike. Our facility has 4 long term care units and 2 rehab units, a beautiful fully enclosed patio for gardening and summer barbecues and a café that is open for our visitors and residents. Recently, we have renovated our rehab gym and outfitted it with hi-tech equipment making it truly state-of-the-art.

My mother was at Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center for rehab for three weeks. They're understaffed. My mom couldn't get out of bed on her own and she relied on the aides, but they were not responsive. I don't know if they had too many patients to take care of, but oftentimes people were left sitting in their messy diapers. The facility was nice. The building, the rooms, everything's nice. It was clean enough. The food was not good. My mom lost 10 pounds while she was in rehab. There are a lot of really great helpful people. Some of it is lip service, I think, but some were not very empathetic or compassionate with the patients. They kept asking the patients to be patient because they had so many patients, but I don't think the patients need to be patient. I think it has to be the other way around. Staff should be empathetic to the patients. The physical therapy itself was good, but all the supportive care things were not so great. I know my mom participated in bingo, and they had some other activities. She socialized more than ever.

I visited Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center for my mother. It was very clean, and the staff was very informative, they took the time and explained to me the function of the location. I like what I saw and I was very impressed. The rooms that I saw were clean, they weren't really tiny and small, but were considerably like a regular-sized rooms. It was very nice. The person who gave the tour was very informative and answered questions that I needed to be answered if I asked a question. She was very, very nice. I haven't eaten there but the food smelled very good, it's a beautiful dining area. I saw their recreation room, I've seen their physical therapy room, and they're beautiful. I saw some residents just watching television in the dayroom.

Everything was great. I saw how they have treated all of their other patients, alongside how they treated me. Overall, I Have no complaints at al!

It's been 6 days and they're still getting my food wrong even though I sent him a list of stuff I can't eat and cannot eat I asked to see a therapist for 2 days I'm still waiting I don't know what else to do but keep writing reviews and I'm going to start calling the state every day until something gets actually done thank you

This is NOT a good place. It is dirty, they are short staffed and you can never get in touch with administrators. Social worker tries to help but she cannot control the behaviors of some of the aides. I left several messages with the Administrator and calls were never returned.

Absolutely not recommended. The rehab ladies are wonderful, however the nurses/Dr. DO NOT CARE. They have one aide to change patients- nurses will not touch which is hard to believe! Do not go to this place- as you will be taking your loved one home after a week!

My mom is a resident of Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center. She had a stage four bedsore and we were limited to certain places that would be able to give her the care that she needed. The staff are friendly and professional. They have bingo but my mom is pretty much bedridden so she's not able to get around. The place is very clean and it's very appealing. It's only 15 minutes from our house, so we can get there every day. It's also near different malls and shopping.

I stayed about 3 months The food was absolutely horrible.cold all the time Staff some were nice nurses some were terrible especially the overnight night shift too many people that always different bad attitudes not caring I was rushed out I wasn't ready to come home but the Dr actually was pushing me out not encouraging me to stay. Since I got home I've went backwards because of them .my therapist were good but they had nothing to do with me going home. The administration girls we're very nice. But too many times between the 1100 shift noone showed up til 1230 so alot of people didn't get their med's on time also quite of times they would run out of certain medication's.

My father is in Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center. The staff is wonderful. I always see people doing stuff. Every visit I've seen a nurse or I've seen one of the cafeteria workers, or I've seen a social worker or I've seen an aide. So there's no shortage of people on staff, which is great to see, especially in today's day and age when most places are short-staffed, to see that many people. He's not taking advantage of the amenities because he doesn't walk. The dietician has been extremely responsive. They adjusted his food based on his request. So in that regard, they tried to make folks as comfortable and happy as they can. I'm happy with everything so far, but I do feel that it's overcrowded. Currently, they were able to accommodate my father with a temporary room, and we are looking forward to long-term placement.

The people who worked with me at Elmwood Hills in Blackwood, were great. Therapy pushed just enough to get me to my goal so I could go home. When I first came here, I would not have believed I would be where I am now.

A caring, devoted and highly professional staff, from nurses, therapists right on down to housekeepers and dietary staff. Very clean, plenty of activities, all in all a very cheerful place!
