We chose Millennium Memory Care for my aunt because there were only fifteen people there, and it's like a house type of environment with five staff members, so it wasn't like a big institution. There's a lot of sunlight and it's only for people with Alzheimer's. We haven't got the chance to go inside because of the COVID, but as far as the attentiveness and calling us back, it's been good. They have a program now where she's having help with her swallowing, they got her a better wheelchair, they're gonna have somebody come in for four hours a day, and she sees a doctor once a week. She's getting much better care than what we can give her at home. I also like the staff. The facility looks like a home that's built in the neighborhood because in Holmdel, all the houses are big, and this looks like it fits into the neighborhood. It's a bit expensive, but I feel like we're getting what we paid for.
