the food is very poor the place is like a living cemetery the treatment of the staff very cold

New Standard Senior Living at Egg Harbor Twp was horrible. It's like a prison. There was no way I would ever allow anybody that I knew to go to that place. It was very cold, and the people who helped us were like robots. They didn't care if we went or if we didn't go. We were not very happy with that one at all. It was very sterile, and the people we met were very strange. We got a feeling that they didn't want us to go there because everybody was in their rooms, and all the doors were closed. At some of the other facilities, all the doors were open, and the people were laughing and talking. At that place, we didn't hear a single sound when we walked the hallways. We just couldn't wait to get out of there.

I toured New Standard Senior Living at Egg Harbor Township. The facilities were brand new. Everything's clean and organized. The staff was very knowledgeable and ready to work hard to take care of your family member. They had workout facilities for anybody that needs rehab or anything like that. They had a pool table. They had one of those arcade basketball games to play with family members, which was cool. They had a cafeteria. The menu looked really good and very nutritional.

My grandma is in New Standard Senior Living at Egg Harbor Twp. It's clean, upkept, but there's like a bunch of ramps in there, which is kind of stupid if people are in wheelchairs. It's hard for my grandmother to get up and down them. The room is nice, but the sink is really small, it's just a mini fridge, and that's it. They're not allowed to have like toaster ovens. Once in a while some people just ignore stuff, but that's going to happen anywhere I guess. But, mostly everyone is pretty cool. They have a lot of stuff. She's always in the activity room doing something. They have something for like the holidays, and they have random like tea times and stuff. It's not great, but it's better than the nursing homes she had to be in for a little while. They're understaffed, they need more people.
