We went to Spring Oak Assisted Living of Vineland. It was very nice. The administrator was very informative. And, it does offer quite a bit of what they do. But we need a nursing home and they didn't meet that need, so that's why we did not choose them. The amenities were very nice. The wash areas where you would either have them wash your clothes or you could wash them yourself were very nice. Just every part of the facility was very well-kept and very nice. The eating areas were certainly like a community. Nobody was sitting alone. It was very engaging. It seemed to be very good in engagement with the people living there, the patients, and just very nice. It made your heart feel warm that they seemed to care. The admissions administrator did a fantastic job.

I toured Spring Oak Assisted Living of Vineland. I had a very nice, long discussion with Matt. He answered all the questions that I needed to know for my purposes right now. It was good. The staff was very nice, and the facilities were nice. I saw the common areas, and they were very clean, very neat, and very open. You can tell that it was one of the better facilities. The grounds from the outside were very nice, clean, and well-kept. They had benches out front for the people that wanted to go out and get some air.

I had an in-person tour of Spring Oak Assisted Living of Vineland. The craft area looked small to me. There was a lot of people kind of squished into one room. Some people were doing puzzles, and some were doing other things. It didn't look like it had a lot of space, but everything else looked nice. The rooms looked new, nice, clean, and had lots of light and big windows. Everything looked pretty updated. It looked like they were trying to upgrade it, like putting a garden in there and more seating. The staff was very good.

I went to look at Spring Oak Assisted Living of Vineland. The management was very excellent in presenting the place. I would rate it excellent. It was very nice. It is a two-bedroom that I looked at. The staff showed me a couple of others as well, but I was more interested in the two-bedroom apartment. It was excellent. They had a room where they play games. The other thing I really enjoyed was the group where they shared different projects they were working on, such as puzzles. My wife likes that kind of stuff. It was very, very accommodating for the activities. The staff also told me about the trips they would take for different shows, different areas, and different locations. I met some of the staff, and they were very helpful and polite. They were glad to see me, I guess. They were all smiling and happy. It was a friendly atmosphere. They showed me the cafeteria, which was nice as well. You could pretty much have the type of food you want. They're very accommodating in that area as well, so I liked that setup. It was what we were looking for because everything was on one floor. Everything was accessible.

Everything is falling apart. Appliances in room are sub-standard. Pipes are breaking and residents have to walk different routes to avoid open ceilings. Decor is depressing and dirty looking. And of course, the complaint of most about the poor quality of the food. One resident even complained about bugs in his room but don't know if that is true or not.

My mom was in Spring Oak Assisted Living at Vineland. She has a 1-bedroom, a kitchenette, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They had some artwork and some music, but she doesn't like the food.

We did visit Spring Oak for my aunt. The staff was great. The rooms were great. They accepted my aunt's Medicaid insurance, which was really important to us so she could afford it. It was a very nice facility, my aunt just couldn't qualify. We would have definitely been very happy with her there. The surroundings, the cleanliness, and the whole set-up were very nice. Excellent. It was clean and very patient-oriented. I felt that it was actually more patient-friendly for someone who had difficulties than the higher-priced assisted living that we went to.

My father lives at this facility. They offer great care while allowing the residents to live independent lives. I visit with my father daily and interact with staff and other residents while I am there. The other day was my fathers' birthday. The staff coordinated a birthday party for him and all the staff and residents participated in the party. Staff brought home made food that they made themselves. It was great! They all went out of their way to make my father's birthday extra special. The care they provide is way more than I expected it would ever be!

I recently toured Spring Oak Assisted Living at Vineland. The staff was nice and attentive. The consumers seemed happy and well taken care of. They were very friendly. The rooms were clean and bright and sunny. I would highly recommend this facility to others.
