Mom moved into SpringHome at Galloway. We liked the nurses, and the aides were very good. They're very cooperative and attentive to my mother's needs. The other staff were very good too. They're very kind and sweet, and they listened to what we needed. They've been helping out a lot. My mom can only eat soft food, and it's okay so far. They have a beauty shop for my mother. They have physical therapy, which is what she needs. The aides are always walking around, and they've been monitoring her pretty much every hour of the hour.

We visited SpringHome at Galloway and it's not what we expected. It was not dirty, but also not clean. It was dark and outdated, and we just immediately didn't feel that it was the right fit when we walked in the door. It needed a lot of TLC. We toured the assisted living during our visit. I only spoke with one person and she was very nice but she was not supposed to be the one giving us the tour. She had to fill in for somebody so she couldn't answer all of our questions. We saw their dining area and it was very small and dark. The rooms were very small and outdated as well.

I went to SpringHome at Galloway. I like the smaller size of it. They have a capacity for a total of 70 residents. I feel that it makes it feel more like a home atmosphere and not like an institutional-type atmosphere when it's smaller like that. I liked everything about it. The apartments were nice. As you walk through the entire area, you feel like you're visiting somebody's home. They have smaller separate dining rooms. They have general areas where people can gather. Those were very nice. They had a pretty garden outside with a walking path, which was very nice. I like that on-site, they have a physical therapist and occupational therapist. They have a therapy dog that comes in once a week to visit with the residents. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I spoke with three different members of the staff when I was there. They give the impression that they're concerned about the care of the residents, that it is the number one priority when they're there. They gave a good impression. Everything looked very clean. It seemed very easy to move about, to go from one area to another. Everything seemed fine with that.

Spring Home at Galloway is great. I like the people there, the care that my parents received, and that it's not a real big place. The facilities are very clean. They have a calendar full of different things that they invite everyone to attend, including excellent food, and bingo games. I like that they can come and go as they want, such as going to doctor appointments or going to family events (you just have to let me know that you're going out). The staff could not do enough. They are right there for them.

I like Spring Home at Galloway. It was nice but it was not for my father. They have three set times for their meals, and you have to come out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It seems like they're more regimented, but it was a nice cheery atmosphere. They seemed to have more staff. The director was very nice. We went into one vacant apartment that someone just left, and it was clean and large. I noticed the bathrooms were more modern than the other place. The bathroom was large enough that a wheelchair can go into it. They had an activity room right in the front. However, they had six floors, and they had an elevator, and I think my father would have gotten lost there. However, the people there seemed like they enjoyed it. There were people in the lobby and like they can wherever they wanted to go.

I toured the memory unit, it was clean, well organized and seemed to have sufficient activities. Leslie took her time and explained all the questions I had. The room is sufficient for my moms needs and the food seemed tasty. They had different choices of meals that u can pick from. The staff was pleasant and seemed to enjoy the job. The offices of the staff are windowed to make sure the residents are enjoying themselves and it is an open door policy. The receptionist was professional and pleasant.

My mom was here for a trial period. The food was very good there. I liked the activities and I liked the facility. They had a courtyard in the memory care where Mom was able to go out and she enjoyed that. We would go in there and they had something going on from 10:00 in the morning, and pretty much all day. Her room was wonderful. All of the staff were good until my mom started having her behavior issues. Then I felt like they couldn't handle her. So, I don't think their place is good for people that have any type of behavior management problems. They asked us to find her a new place, which luckily I had already lined up with another facility.

It was very pleasant. They have a lot of greenery and natural surroundings, so it's nice to get out to either roll around in a wheelchair or take a walk outside the building. The place was clean and everybody seemed very friendly and willing to step up and help. They had three room sizes. We looked at the smallest one since, for my mom, the smallest was fine. They had a small beauty parlor, and a game room/community room, and their community is linked to Stockton College. They have games that they play on the computer with the Stockton students and I thought that was cool.

It's design is set up so that it looks more like a hotel rather than a hospital-type facility. It's assisted living, but they have a high level of care, so even though my sister can't walk by herself, they could help her to walk, help her to the bathroom, and help her shower. The staff who gave the tour discussed things with me that I didn't even think of. She brought up things with me that I hadn't thought of. Their calendar of activities is loaded. There's not just one a day, but there are a couple of activities that they can participate in throughout the day. They have a courtyard, a salon, and a small, private dining room that you could reserve for a family birthday or dinner. It's located very close to Atlanta Care Hospital, which is only two minutes away.

They gave us an exceptional tour. I think their room was more of just one large room with the bathroom facilities and a mini kitchen type of thing. The staff was great, informative, and answered my questions. I remember them having a courtyard. I toured their assisted living.
