It has a nice garden that you can walk around in. It is a very scheduled program because Dad is in the early stages of dementia, and he seems to like it. I wish they had a little bit more programs, but Dad seems to be adjusting well. They are serving three meals a day, and they have an area where Dad can get drinks. He also has a refrigerator and he can have food in his room, as well. They do his laundry, housekeeping, and they provide outside excursions. Every day they have something going on for the residents.

My mother has been here over two years. Complete care took over and change the name to Whispering Woods. It is complete lack of care. My mother‘s health has declined here, partly due to their negligence. Without going into detail a few of our complaints, mine, and my siblings, on several consecutive visits, my mother had absolutely no toilet paper. On several occasions, my mother waited in bed for 5+ hours after calling an aid for assistance to get out of bed, who never came, missing breakfast. The food is very poor. Most residents complain about it. Housekeeping is poor. They make the bed. Sometimes sweep the carpet and maybe vacuum the small pathway in her room. My sister and I got on our hands and knees and vacuumed. Underneath some chairs it looked like two years Dust and dirt. Our mother was not getting showers, appropriate showers. Any showers! I complained to the Director several times about these issues. Being assured they would be taken care of. They never were. My mother was lethargic and unable to stay awake for several months. I insisted on bloodwork and the results were poor. The air conditioning barely worked all summer. It still is not working in my mother‘s room. In my mother‘s final years, she more than likely would have flourished elsewhere. Now in her current state of health, we have decided not to move her, and she wants to stay as she has made friends there with other residents. However, all the staff is not friendly. my mother has had issues with several aids. There are many other facilities that are better with better care. A friend of mine moved her mother out from this facility to another. When complete Care took over I believe my mother’s rent monthly rent increase $900 a month. Totaling approximately $7000. You pay for the care, because the room is extremely small, but there is no care here. We regret the decision of moving our mother here because we are always concerned whether her needs are being met or not. We have no trust in this facility . They say they will improve things or want to hear but they don’t. And many others have the same complaints. Some speak up some don’t

We have chosen here for my mother-in-law. It's comfortable. There are a lot of positive things. It is close to our family. They answer all our questions. They help us with the application. It was a positive experience. Some of the nice things there are their dining room, their entrance, and the room itself. It was all positive. They have a library and an arts and crafts room. They encourage community, so we're hoping my mother-in-law makes friends. It's updated in some areas. It seems very clean. They encourage cleanliness. The staff was very personable, answered all our questions, and eased all our minds. They have outside seating, they have a salon, they take them on short trips to restaurants or shows, they have people come in to entertain them, they have games throughout the day, and they have movies.

I was able to tour for my Mom. Everyone was excellent, kind, courteous, and professional. The facilities were very impressive and very clean. They answered every question, were very helpful, and had all the answers. I didn't get to tour the whole place, but my niece did. The place is unbelievable. Yesterday, they had people outside. They had rooms for them like a TV room and game rooms. They had everything needed in a facility.

I signed with Whispering. The people there are very nice, it looked like they have a very nice venue, and it's across the hospital. It's almost in the same neighborhood that I live in now. The rooms are very clean and they have a lot of activities. They have a library, they have a meeting room, and a place for friends. They have laundry services, they take you out on trips to your doctor, restaurants, and they drive you to church. They have a very nice outside area. The room looked very nice, you can hang pictures on the wall, I have my TV on the wall, and I have a room next to the elevator. I liked the idea that for meals you're not assigned a specific table.

It seemed to be a bit newer. They have lots of activities for the residents, so you certainly wouldn't get bored. The rooms were very nice, and they showed 2 empty units as well as units that were being lived in so you can see what people do with the space and how they decorate it.

We found a place for my mother-in-law in here. We like it so far. She’s happy, and they made it very easy for her to move in. I would recommend it. The rooms are nice, airy, and big enough. She’s in a studio, which is actually nicer than a one-bedroom since it’s more open.

My cousin is in here and it has been great. She is happy, and she likes it there. The staff is nice, friendly, and keeps her busy. Every time I am there, they are on top of cleaning and everything else. It is a very nice facility.

Their level of care and their staff is excellent in every respect! As my mother turned 100 years old there this year, November 3rd, 2013 she has improved in her condition as well as possible "in spite of her dementia." They walk the walk as promised a few years ago to our family!! God Bless their entire staff.
