My aunt already moved to Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. I just think that they're very, very nice. The people can't be more helpful with things, especially for me. They're just, all around, a perfect fit for her. They are all very lovely and they're all very friendly. They have a lot of great activities that they do. They have some things that women like. They do nails and they'll have a hairstylist come in. They do travel out to different stores. And when they're in, they do different kinds of games and you win little prizes. So, she's very happy with that.

I went to Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. It's as good as the other place, but it's a little pricy. The staff was wonderful. They're very, very polite and attentive, and they actually showed care. I didn't sit down or have meals, but as far as I could see, everything looked up to par. They offered the same as the other place, the transport, the laundry, the overall care, and the therapy.

I toured Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. It's a very nice facility. It seems to be pleasant. The coordinator was very pleasant, very personable, and very informative. She took us for a tour. She spent a lot of time with us. She went over different options. My overall experience with the staff there was very good. The memory care portion of the facility was a little secluded, but it makes sense, because normally the people that have memory care issues don't really function well with a lot of noise. I felt like that part was a little bit more secluded from the rest of the facility. However, they still basically have the same accommodations. They have a nice little gathering room and their own rooms. They have their own floor. They have an outside courtyard at that place. It's gated, so I don't think you could just kind of like wander off.

Brighton Gardens of Mountainside was very nice and very attractive. We didn't go on a big tour because it was already late. I would have liked to have seen other stuff, but I got to see the dining area though and it was very pretty. Then we went to see a room and it looked very clean and very attractive too. It would have been a lovely place for my husband. Maureen was very nice. It's just I was a little agitated because I had an appointment but then I waited a while because they were working with somebody else. I just didn't feel like I was the most important thing at that point. She was doing too many things and she should have dedicated more time to just doing the task at hand and concentrated on me, and not be running all over the place. Still, the place was bright, cheery, and the colors were very pretty.

I saw both assisted living and memory care at Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. Being that they were my least favorite, I wouldn't suggest them unless you're comfortable putting your loved one in a cohabitation situation. It was a little uncomfortable because I went there with the intention that my mother would need her own personal space and so forth. I just felt like I was being pushed in a direction of it being better for my mom to share an apartment with another individual. I was not OK, nor was I comfortable with that, especially with the pandemic. We don't know them, they don't know us, and I don't feel comfortable putting my mom in a roommate situation. She showed us a one-bedroom. One person will be in the bedroom, and the other one can convert what should be the living room into their bedroom, and there's no privacy there. Price-wise, it would be better, but money is not an issue. I don't feel comfortable. My mom needs to have her own apartment by herself, and she needs her independency. I'm not going to put up with her having to room with somebody else. I didn't get to meet the staff. It was just the young lady with whom I had the meeting. The facility wasn't bad. It was just that one little hiccup as far as sharing a room. One of the common areas had a ceiling-to-ground, nicely structured bookshelf, with so many books. This common area leads out into the patio area, which is pretty nice. The facility was good. They've done a good job to make it feel like home for the guests. They had enough amenities, so they can choose what they want to do or lounge in their rooms.

My father-in-law moved into Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. So far, the experience with them has been excellent. The only issue that we have honestly is that their visitation policy is a little restrictive with COVID. They are are very particularly strict about the quarantine. For instance, my husband visited him the other day, and because he got within six feet during the outdoor visit with a mask on, they're quarantining my father-in-law for two weeks, which seems to be much. Other than that, they've been wonderful. I mean really wonderful; every single person that we dealt with. They're really not doing any kind of public gathering of the residents, and we can't even go in. My estimation of them is based on sort of our dealings with the staff who have been very responsive, my father-in-law sounds stronger and better, and he says he's happy. The care manager has been just amazing.

My visit at Brighton Gardens of Mountainside was good. It was very nice and the place also smelled nice. It was bright, and there's music playing and it has a cheerful atmosphere. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful and considerate. I was invited for a meal, although I couldn't go. The rooms that I saw there also seemed fine.

Brighton Gardens of Mountainside was very nice and the rooms were a little bigger than the other places. They have a little library and lots of trips. The staff was very nice.

Brighton Gardens of Mountainside was updated, and the facilities were very welcoming. It’s clean and really large. I was greeted by someone in charge. He gave me an overview of everything that they do and also the events that they were having on a daily basis. He was very informative and very friendly, and there was a follow up phone call to see how the tour was. They do serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I know they had a whole calendar of events.

I went to Brighton Gardens, and I liked it. It was pretty; it looked like a hotel. I liked the activities they have for seniors; I liked the fact that they brought them out to malls and places they want to go. I liked the convenience of having all the doctors in one place. The people who worked there seemed quite attentive. Most of the residents liked it there. They also brought in guest lectures, and I thought that was pretty cool.

I only saw Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. It was clean and bright, and the people seemed nice. The room was like a small apartment with a bedroom, a living area, and a kitchenette.

I was less impressed with Brighton Gardens of Mountainside compared to the other places I've seen. The people were very personable, but I found the memory care area to be a little depressing, and the whole place was too large for my mother. The staff was very nice to me and answered all of my questions.

My grandmother has been in Brighton Gardens for about a week and a half. It seems very nice, and the people are very nice. They did manicures on Friday afternoon, brought Holy Communion this week, and did crossword puzzles a couple of afternoons. She likes to do that. The dining room is very nice, but I hope the menu is varied and that they include pasta.

Brighton Gardens of Mountainside is beautiful like a hotel. It is very nice looking and very clean. They have a couple of therapy dogs which my grandmother is really into. They have tons of activities. It seems like it was a well taken care of place. My grandmother shares a one-bedroom. Her roommate is in the living area and she is in the actual room but for what she’s paying, it’s definitely reasonable. She shares her closet, bathroom, and kitchen area and the entire unit is actually big enough for them. She has a knitting group. They have a psychologist who talks to them regularly. They have a social hour everyday at 3:00PM. They take the residents out to WalMart and the Dollar Store.

My parents were there for more than a year and we found that the facility over promises and under delivers.. The service is inconsistent; the food not very good and there is an odd disconnect between SOME of the management team and family members who want to be involved in their loved one's care; we were left with the impression from some that our input wasn't welcome.

My mother is at Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. I find the facility quite accommodating and very well staffed with people very concerned about their tenants. My mother seems to be very happy there. The surroundings are friendly and open. There are plenty of things to do. Care is taken to make sure everybody has the ability to go wherever they need to go.

We are going to go with Brighton Gardens of Mountainside. The people were really good. The way they work together was nice, and it was very homey. They had a large one-bedroom. I do not know if it is going to be available when my aunt goes there in August, but it was a good size. Some of the rooms were tiny. They have a lot of activities.

I was able to visit Brighton Gardens, and the facility is very nice. They do have a wide variety of activities for their residents. I didn’t see anything that needed improvement. Everything was outstanding. They have plenty of staff.

The best thing about Brighton Gardens of Mountainside for us is its location. The facility seemed a decent place. It’s clean. They were able to answer all of the questions that we had and they were very professional. The rooms are of a decent size. They were able to discuss some activities, like they go on field trips and they take the residents to the grocery store or the mall.

I have a great sense of confidence in the straff where my mom lives. I can put my head on my pillow at night knowing she is well cared for. The atmosphere is always busy and welcoming, I feel like a part of the family. To see my mom put her trust in her care givers is touching to me as a family member. I would recommend Brighton Gardens of Mountainside to anyone looking for a place for their family member for peace of mind.

This facility was overall, very nice. Brighton Gardens is located in a suburb area. Most people here are generally well off and therefore the community is well off. Even though my grandma does not speak English very well, there are several well knit communities within the assisted living center. She is allowed to interact with other Asians living there. From my visit, I could see that there is quite a schedule for activities. People who are living there are never bored, as they have movies, bingo, card games, and even wii and xbox. The staff is very amicable as well. They greeted my dad and I with a hearty welcome when we visited and helped me find my grandmother's room. Although they don't seem too busy all the time, they are nice people. The facilities were clean too. The room itself was clean although it was just a tiny small. Overall, my visit to this assisted living facility was splendid and I look forward to visiting my grandma here again.

A good friend of mine was referred to this place by his family. I visit him often according to his time and enjoy seeing him. I have observed the facility is clean and the staff are always helpful whenever I need to find my friend. My friend seems at peace and enjoys what the facility offers. He tells me the place is like school where he is learning and enjoying others and activities around him. He laughs how he doesn't have to worry about cleaning and laundry because everything is done. I enjoy seeing my friend during sunny weathers because of its fresh air, beautiful, peaceful, and safe atmosphere. I guess when I turn old I would rather prefer this place then anywhere else. I visit my friend from time to time and bring in his favorite snacks, magazines and books, however I miss seeing him on a daily basis.

Brighton Gardens has some beautiful facilities in a very convenient location right off of Route 22. It is located in a wonderful, wooded environment and plenty of programs are available to those that are staying at the facility. After touring and participating in many events located at the facility over the years, I can attest to the high quality of living that I would be extremely happy to have the honor of receiving when its my turn to participate in assisted living. One example of the many programs available at Brighton Gardens is the new spring flower planting course, which happens to be run by a local Eagle Scout hopeful. In the class, those living at the facility will learn how to plant and take care of spring flowers in their own, hand-built planters with a team of experienced instructors. All in all, Brighton Gardens is a place I would feel safe leaving any one of my family members, including my very own parents and myself.
