Nurse Corinne. S exemplifies true "class" nursing at WynWood . She adds a family feel to all she comes in contact with, while insuring the integrity of her position. Her panoply of skills makes it easy to feel at home on her shift... Thanks Corinne. S... Thanks, WYNWOOD

My father went to Wynwood because it is a VA approved rehab. There was zero medical follow up for his ailments. Staff lost his medication on multiple occasions, including his emergency inhaler that he was not permitted to have bedside. The facility has a bad odor, and the rooms are not cleaned - floor and table top dirty and sticky until cleaned by family. Staff are sitting around playing on their phones, yet can’t answer simple patient related questions or actually spend time caring for the patients. The food is inedible, cold and disgusting, often unable to even decipher what is on the plate. Patients are left to lie in bed and whither away, with zero encouragement. Wynwood should be ashamed of themselves for treating veterans so poorly.

This is by far the WORST facility I have EVER come in contact with. Working in patient care services there are somethings that are unacceptable. They check all the boxes on unacceptable and make a ton of excuses for it. The executive staff by far will not make you feel like you are leaving your loves ones in good care but will tell you everything you need to hear to make it feel that way. Within days you WILL NOT feel like your loved ones are UNSAFE and NOT given the best care while in this rehab. Unless you are able to be there 24/7 and pitch in or do all the work, I would not recommend this facility. The staff walk around with attitudes, sit at the desk on their phones, found eating lunch or snacking at the desk or even SLEEP at times. You call for staff, and you can be waiting for HOURS for someone to come to assist. If they feel like you are bothering them, I have found that they will let you know the lack thereof in the facility and what is too much. So, disheartening to have to deal with this.

My mother's senior planner for Medicaid recommended Wynwood Rehab and Healthcare Center to me because they have a lot of patients here already. They were very, very helpful. The admissions administrator kept in contact with me and they were very good. The nurses here are great, the aides, the administration, they're all very good. It's a nice facility. They're in the process of remodeling and it's very clean. The patients are all on one floor. The food is good. They crush her meat up for her, but it's very tasty. They have a great activity staff and rehabilitation. She's done a lot better here than she was at home when I was taking care of her. She didn't know me when she was at home. I think she probably looked at me as just her caretaker, but now that she's here, she recognizes me as her daughter. Everybody loves her. They say that she doesn't get nasty. She has a very nice roommate. They get along well. They called me and told me that they found some infiltration in her lungs. They called it early, so they treated her here with the antibiotics and the steroids versus taking her to the hospital, and today, they told me she was doing great.

My room was small, dirty. When I got there the room was not ready, the oxygen machine was broken. My nightime machine was not delivered 'till the next day. The food is limited and not fit for a dog. My Daughter took me out of there and home. Feeling better.

As soon as my mother came to Wynwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, they were on top of things. They cared for her wounds that she had gotten from the other place she was at and they just paid attention to her. There was a doctor right away to see her and two nurses. She's in a safe place now and I visit her all the time and she said she's happy. She also enjoys the food. Plus, they cut up the food for all the residents, which is nice. They start their activities at 10 a.m. up until two o'clock in the afternoon. They try to keep the people who can get out of the room, out of their room. The staff is lovely. The rooms are bigger. They put her in a new room that they just did over. So, I'm very pleased.

My husband was at Cinnaminson Center before he passed away. The social worker from the hospital had recommended this place. I had my husband there for rehab and it was absolutely terrible. I took him out after about three or four days because it was so bad. He fell out of bed and they never wrote a report about it. It was absolutely disgraceful. It was strictly a money making operation, but you would think that they would have a little more compassion. I really don't care for the place. There were a lot of people there that were primarily Medicaid patients. It was a very sad place.

The Cinnaminson Center is a caring provider. It features several lounges in which you may visit with your loved ones. I prefer the living room area in the front. They have many activities in which residents can participate, and they also offer workshops for family members. Almost every time I visit, my grandmother is taking part in some sort of event. I don't believe there is a great deal of privacy for all of the residents. Doors to their rooms are usually open, and I can look in. However, I understand this is most likely a necessity considering the medical needs of many of the residents. The profound needs of some of the other residents can be a disconcerting at times. I truly respect the nurses and aides that work day to day with these people in need. I have never worried for my grandmother's safety while she has been in residence here.
