I moved to Five Star Premier Residences of Reno. I knew the people here. It seemed to fit my way of wanting to live. They have a good dining room and the food is quite good. I'm in a one-bedroom apartment. The building seems to be very nice. It's only three stories but they have elevators that have made it easy to get around. They have a very nice exercise fitness program and they offer physical therapy.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno was nice and clean. I didn't eat there, but it looked like the food was pretty good. They had a bakery-like deal. Most of the units were all carpeted and they're going to take those out. There will just be carpet in the bedrooms, but they're going to put laminate flooring. It's easy to just trip on the rugs and it's hard for people with walkers and wheelchairs on the rugs. The staff told me each time a unit becomes available, they're going to put the wood flooring down. You have your own little kitchen. Some of the units have a big stove and you can cook, but most of them have a microwave. The washers and dryers are only in the big units. You have to go to a washer and dryer down the hall to wash. But they make your beds and they do a lot. The staff who toured me was very accurate and nice. She took her time with me. She was very knowledgeable. She just showed me everything that I asked to see. The building was pretty nice, but it was not brand new. There were patios and balconies. The one I looked at had a patio because it was on the ground floor, and the ones above had balconies.

My mother moved into Five Star Premier Residences of Reno. I like that it's located in a very nice area of town. They have large and open spaces in their common area. They have multiple soft couches for people to lounge on, and big open windows. Their staff is very friendly and diverse. They're from all over the world, and they have young and old staff. My mom can walk around the facilities, and it's a very secure and safe environment. She can walk half a mile within the facility. They have three meals a day that are served, but what I really like about them is they have a buffet meal where she can choose what she wants to eat because she cannot read a menu. They have exercise classes, hair stylists, church services, physical therapy, cleaning once a week in her apartment, her sheets are washed, and there's a $600 a month food allowance.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno looks like an active community. The common spaces were large, clean, and just had a nice, attractive, and comfortable feel to it. The units themselves were large and nicely designed, and they have balconies for independent living. They have a couple of different courtyards with roses and gardens that are tended by some residents, as well as lots of trees around them. They're in a very nice area. The staff was very friendly.

I toured Five Star Premier Residences of Reno. It's clean and modern with good facilities. It was spacious and clean. I like the dining facility. One thing I didn't like about it is that it seemed kind of cold and a little bit like a fancy hotel. I didn't meet any of the staff except the tour guide. She's excellent. She's knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They have a dining facility, a snack bar, and a recreational room. I can't remember too much about their amenities, but it seemed like it was pretty good.

I thought 5 Star was great when my Dad moved in early last year. Then COVID hit. They FAR surpassed my expectations in terms of safety, while at the same time doing everything possible to keep the residents engaged and happy. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

We recently moved my Grandfather into the five star facility and we have been thoroughly overwhelmed by the experience! First of all the property is beautiful and thoughtfully designed to encourage social interaction. The piano lounge, the coffee bar, the dining room, auditorium and numerous sitting areas all create a friendly environment which the residents occupy with interactive energy and warmth. The amenities, activities and food are all first class. I have never seen a more well kept retirement community. But honestly these are all things that can be developed with the right budget. What cannot is the incredible staff. These people are amazing! I have rarely seen any organization run so consistently with such a passion of purpose. Each team member we have interacted with has shown excitement and a genuine pleasure to serve. It is wonderful. Ceci and Lisa were wonderful hosts and made us feel like our grandfather was welcome and safe in his new home. They were one of the primary reasons we selected five star. Jerry and Patrick have done an excellent job administratively to help us facilitate a smooth transition. Debbie at the front desk always greets us with a smile and is constantly looking out for the residents. Troy is constantly creating new and exciting activities which captivate the residents. Karen in the dining room has done a tremendous job empowering her staff, and her whole team of servers have been nothing short of extraordinary. Overall we could not be more pleased with five star. During a difficult transition period for our family and grandfather, five star has breathed new life into him. Their warmth and the lifestyle they facilitate have filled him with joy, and he is now looking forward to many more years to come. Thank you five star, we could not more highly endorse your community.

My mother-in-law is a resident of the assisted living level of Five Star Premier Residences of Reno. The place is great and her room there is excellent. The staff is amazing. Theyre doing a fabulous job. They have very good food and a dining area, and they have wonderful activities for the residents. My own mother was a resident there for nine years and we love it. Its fabulous and the activities are wonderful; they do a great job. Its expensive but still worth paying for.

Im moving tomorrow to Five Star Premier Residences of Ren. I liked it the most of all the ones I checked out. I liked the system for food. It was very highly recommended by friends of mine and was what I was looking for. I liked the people. They had bingo, a big area for gymnastics, music, and dancing. Its a very nice place. The lady who assisted me is the one of the best and got me what I needed.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno was my favorite place among the ones I visited. It was the perfect place for my parents. I saw a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment and it was very nice. The staff was excellent. They offer a ton of things like games, activities, and they take the residents out. The place was more like a resort. They have a piano bar, a little cafe, and a nice dining area.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno is like a resort. The people don't seem as old and act younger. It's like you're on vacation. It has a nice bar, dining room, coffee shop, and theater. They have a lot of games, like bingo. The people are so friendly and right there to talk to you. I have eaten there many times even before my sister moved in. We had lunch and dinner, which were both really nice. It's probably one of the most expensive facilities. You can hire people to come in and take care of you. The surroundings are nice, and each room has a balcony. They even have therapy because my sister had a stroke. They have a hairdresser, an exercise room where they get therapy, and a library. The only bad thing is if your money runs out, you have to move. I fell in love with the place. I'm really impressed. The people are so outgoing. They give you an allowance, and you can buy food there.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno was very nice, and it was like coming home. It's very warm, friendly, and inviting. They had several things going on at the time we were there, like a trivia game, and there was a group of people answering trivia questions. There was a reading room and a crossword puzzle group. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were better options as far as the food menu goes in the dining room, and they also had a little kiosk where they had fresh pastries and hot soup, which was very nice. The rooms were beautiful and very nice.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno was a beautiful community but expensive. The rooms were too small for a couple or anybody in a wheelchair. The place was very lush and extremely nice, and the chef was good. If my husband was not in a wheelchair, this place would be fantastic for us.

Five Star Premier was one of the few in Reno that has a two-bedroom apartment. Also we got several friends that lived there at different times. They just put in a bar in; they had happy hour. They have quite a few different activities. They have an exercise room too. They have a lot of trips to the surrounding community. One thing that my wife is interested in is that they have a hair salon, which is a big thing for her. Their apartments were not as big as we like, but there's nothing like it in Reno. The facility was well-maintained. I would recommend them.

Five Star is a beautiful facility! The food is great and all the amenities are amazing. Besides the facility most of the staff is great. Did have a tour and the facility looks better in person. Pictures can only do so much. I was interested in the assisted living for my mother but the nurse on site did not seem very pleasant. Not sure if she was having a bad day or that is her day to day character, not very appealing. I would want my mother to live in a facility where I feel like the nurse will have patience and be compationate with my mother but I did not get that from her. Other than that this facility is incredible.

My friend liked the location of Five Star Premier Residences of Reno, and it seemed to be a more modern, updated facility. She liked their meal plans where they had meals set up, plus it is centrally located in Reno. It's beneficial since all her friends live in the Reno area. They would take her to the doctors, drop her off, come back later, and pick her up. They had exercises also. It was a very nice and clean facility.

Five Star was one of the communities I visited. It was very nice. The staff invited me to one of their events so I could see people and what they do, but it was a very short visit.

My mother lived in Five Star Premier Residences of Reno for a while. I thought the place was great. She had a small studio apartment, and it was alright for her needs. They did everything well.

I like the location of Five Star Premiere Residence of Reno. The rooms were very nice although they did not have room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that my parents would like to have. It is an expensive facility. The staff was exceptional; they were very nice. The food was wonderful.

We decided on Five Star because it's a little closer to where we live, and it's just the most wonderful place I've ever been. I think they have been enlarging the dining room. They're still renovating, but it's still beautiful. They have so many amenities there so I'd give it a ten-stars. How’s that? There’s an exercise room, a bridge room, an arts and crafts room, and it goes on and on. I'm just really so glad that I moved here, and they keep it in such good shape. I couldn’t ask for better. They have a variety of room sizes like a studio (that’s what I have); they have a one-bedroom and then theres 2-bedrooms. I’m facing an inner courtyard, and then there’s a street close by. I have garage parking and they have some covered garages for most of the people. Everyone here is wonderful and friendly. I’m very happy. I just couldn’t ask for more.

Five Star Premier Residences of Reno was very nice. They had all kinds of activities. The place was a mess because they had all kinds of construction going on. They were rebuilding the lobby and adding a brand new theater. The only problem with all these places is I have a certain set income and their charges for a reasonable facility to live in absorb the whole thing.

Everything was first class in Five Star Premier Residences. They did a lot of activities there. They had a buffet in the morning and evening. The dining room was too fancy. What I liked most about it was it was very clean. It was a very expensive community.

I like Five Star Premier Residence of Reno, but my mom didn't have that feeling when she walked in. She also didn't like the sales lady we had. She felt she was very pushy and talked too much. The rooms and apartment there were very nice, except they had a kitchenette, which was more than what my mom wanted. So they didn't really offer less than that. Mom did not like the kitchenette part.

The staff at Five Star Premier Residences of Reno were friendly, very open and honest. They answered all my questions and seemed competent. The residents seemed happy and contented. However, it did not meet my mom's requirements.
