Vegas Valley Senior Care Residence is just like a group home. I guess it's ten people all in different rooms in a big home. It's always clean, they're always making sure everything stays clean. Most of the time, you don't even see the caregivers, because they're in the rooms with different patients, taking care of them. They don't like to just stand around talking and leaving the patients just by themselves, they're always attending to them. They give three meals a day. They had a special thing for Mother's Day too. My mom has home care people coming in, nursing and stuff like that. They really care about the patients, and they really try to help them as best as they can. The staff is always there. It's not like, "Oh, that's just the patient. We can take care of them a little later." It's more of, "Oh, they need help right now. We can stop cleaning the kitchen and go help them," that type of thing. All the rooms are nice, that's the best you can get. I guess most of them are shared rooms. They have few private rooms, those are for the more bedridden ones. They have activities. Those that are more in their own minds have jigsaw puzzles they can put together. They play card games and watch TV. They've got a backyard with a patio where they can go out and sit in the sun. They also have a pool back there. I wish they could do more activities with some of the patients though. Most of them are advanced Alzheimer's type.
